A unique place in Geneva where you can find art, a chess game and a glass of Geneva wine for just the right place. While it sometimes helps to be aware of your bags and jackets, the bar is a special place where young and old, mainstream and fringe all meet just a few streets from cornavin. Highly recommended for a special Geneva experience!

Nice place to have a drink with friends or make new ones. It is managed by a non-profit association, and various activities are offered to visitors. Nice terrace.

Awesome people, great local spot.

La Galerie is an association (English = cooperative) ran by the Les Grottes community. We had a great time talking with some of the locals about the history of the area and enjoying the very well priced drinks (1 dcl of wine or a small beer = 2CHF), and even an impromptu jazz performance. The bar staff were very accommodating and spoke excellent English. It is not a flashy, high-end establishment but there is a vibrance and strong sense of community unlike any other we encountered in the city. One of the highlights of our stay in Geneva and we would definitely visit again.
