Definitely one of my favorite restaurant in town. Excellent food with seasonal dishes. Staff is attentive and always smiling. I love the relaxed and not so fancy ambient. Our small dog felt like home.

Amazing ! The cuisine is sublime, fine, intelligent, delicious, precise and gourmet. The service is attentive, careful, smiling and natural. The atmosphere is cozy, pleasant, delicate, comfortable. There is absolutely nothing to criticize as it was a wonderful moment: a perfect experience that I look forward to repeating. Well maybe only one very slight regret, it's the fact that fish dominates the menu so strongly but there are options. Well done and see you soon, that’s for sure.

Delicious and a very nice presentation, professional, fast and very friendly service. Dessert: succulent. Warm space and pleasant distance between tables. Also noise management was well thought out by the architect. It’s a shame that the vegetarian dish doesn’t contain protein, it’s still essential in a vegetarian dish. Unfortunately, few chefs cook legumes.

Absolutely delicious dinner, well deserved star! Each dish is delicate. Special mention for the dessert made with celery and white chocolate. The only negative point would be the proximity of the tables in the dining room. The terrace, however, is very pleasant for summer evenings.

The waitress at lunch stressed us for no reason Today. Really shame on that young lady. Saturday people would like to have relaxed lunch, no rush. After the first course she came over and told us that she can’t make kitchen to wait for the main course? It was only 13h15! What’s that rush for???

Our evening at La Micheline, orchestrated by the talented chef Andrés Arocena, was a true celebration of bistronomy. From the reception, the elegant atmosphere and attentive service established a welcoming atmosphere. The menu, balanced and creative, has conquered the palates of the whole family, even that of our daughter. Additionally, the sommelier added the perfect touch to our meal by expertly guiding us in choosing a balanced Spanish white wine, completing this dining experience. La Micheline offered us a bistronomic moment, harmoniously combining the elegance of a Michelin star with the conviviality of a family evening.

An absolute treat in a very subdued and cozy setting. The Chef's cuisine takes us into very intense and tasty Basque pearls. We were charmed by the omnipresent and discreet service team who demonstrated flexibility and humor. All this for a very, very fair price! Well done and thank you

Dishes all very well presented, excellent for starters and desserts. Sweet, smoky, barbecue tastes too present for fish and meat. Very nice place, but tables a little too close to each other. The rather low rating concerns the service. I booked specifying my intolerances. The day before, I called to find out if, despite my intolerances, I could take the tasting menu. I am told there is no problem. When we order, the waitress tells me that my case was discussed during the meeting and that it was not possible to take this menu. She comes back 10 minutes later and tells me in an unpleasant tone that she spoke to the chef and that exceptionally they were going to make me the menu. She told me that I shouldn't expect anyone to do it to me again next time. I felt like I was being done a favor, that I should apologize and thank them. I had clearly indicated my intolerances by email and then by telephone. I would have preferred to have been told beforehand that this was not possible. We spent over 300.- and unfortunately I was not satisfied with my experience.

Update October 2023: we returned to eat the hunt and the experience was much better than the first time: top service (same waitress but an opposite attitude), quality and presentation of the dishes worthy of the most starred restaurants in the city. place and cozy atmosphere for an autumn lunch. We will come back! May 2023: Very mixed experience this afternoon. +: setting/atmosphere, terrace Quality and presentation of dishes -: service -> wine list presented upon our arrival then removed 2 minutes later by the waitress without explanation (to give it to another table with more people), plates for starters removed without asking (and despite the open cutlery) , addition brought before coffees. With all this we left no tip and the waitress made us understand her “dissatisfaction” by leaving the table after payment, without a word (neither thank you nor goodbye). It's really a shame that the service really made our experience negative in this restaurant where we had a long wait. Maybe a bad day for the waitress but hey… to try again another time anyway.

Once again, the meal was excellent! A delicious pigeon from Poitou. Special mention for the dessert, simply extraordinary, both visually and for the taste....The Lunar Stones....which deserves an 11/10! :)

We particularly appreciated, in addition to what we ate, the quality of the service: efficient, friendly, relaxed (jeans, sneakers and white shirt/blouse = top). Exceptional cuisine, with beautiful combinations and originality. The service is above expectations, very quality and very attentive. As for the food and wine pairing, it’s original with Swiss and Spanish bottles quite well found. What more can be said? Go for it. PS: on the other hand it will eat noodles the next few days 🤭

I made a reservation last night for a professional dinner (5 people). We opted for the 4 course menu. The surprise was big. Beautifully executed dishes with a fine Iberian touch and impeccable service. A great discovery. I will return for the 5 course menu. Thanks to the whole team and well done!

Forget the cuisine of Geneva Palaces or other (over)rated restaurants and come to La Micheline to concentrate on what's on your plate and it's delicious! For those who have not been twenty for a long time, they will remember what the Micheline was... a yellow and red shuttle connecting Annemasse station to Eaux-Vives station. Today CEVA has replaced it. La Micheline is today an establishment that delights the sight, the smell and the palate. An Iberian cuisine revisited with mastery in the art of combining such pronounced flavors without ever going overboard. The very essence is the subtle harmony of the senses.

What to say? An exceptional experience! Sincerely! A complexity in the dishes that I have not found in “high-end” establishments for a long time. The macaroon is well deserved. From the setting, to the culinary delight, to the involvement of the staff so that we have a good time, I really recommend La Micheline. I would have given a special mention to a particular dish but the langoustine tail, the turbo and the chocolate cake with miso ice cream were just “just right”! A chef who puts his character into his dishes for committed Hispanic cuisine! Congratulations again and thank you for this trip!

The service is just perfect as for the food, it is more than perfect, you don't leave a crumb on the plate. All for a reasonable price for this quality of cuisine. Good feedback before going there but very disappointing overall. The service, not really up to par, rarely seen that for a starred restaurant. 'Lunch' menu (choice between 2 options for each dish would be a plus, no appetizers, etc. but let's move on). As a starter, the melon was not great (firm and not sweet) and the plate was more than simplistic. Only the small slice of Iberian ham did the 'trick'. For the dish, the cooking of the cod was great, but lacked seasoning, few accompaniments and little sauce. Better than the entry but far from what we can expect. For dessert, the apricot was not sweet and very sour, only the ice cream was interesting. To summarize, it was rather bland and a more than mixed experience with the 'Lunch' menu. Opinion shared by my 2 other guests. ps: you have to take the big menus but I don't think I'll go back after this experience.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of La Micheline in Eaux-Vives, Geneva. Oh my god so much amazing food that I don’t even know where to start. Let us keep it simple. You have to dine there if in Geneva.

We had a great dinner and a very pleasant evening at this restaurant. Fans of Spanish cuisine, we really liked how the chef prepared lamb and beef! The dessert was unforgettable!

I had lunch with a friend at the restaurant and we both opted for the fixed menu. The amuse-bouche was amazing. The "tomato pizza" was even more genius. It incorporated a combination of very interesting flavors. The fish was also cooked perfectly, The dessert wasn't my favourite. The young Chef came out and it was a nice touch. I had to cancelled my tasting menu the week after but I will definitely visit when I return to Geneva.

An excellent meal full of surprises and subtleties. Limitless imagination in terms of taste and presentation of dishes. The beautiful terrace adds to being able to have a wonderful time. The very pleasant waitress described all the dishes to us with precision and detail, thank you to her, the waiter who took care of the wines gave very good advice. Having the chef come by to get our opinion is a plus! This discovery will not be the last!

Extremly disappointing and expensive for NO reason - Does not deserve a Michelin star!!! We paid 450 CHF 😭😭😭for 3 menus that had no taste, no freshness, no compatibility bt the ingredients. My mom was immediately sick after eating here. We will never ever come here again🤮

My wife and I visiting Geneva for the first time decided to dine here to celebrate our 50 wedding anniversary. We have dined in many Michelin star restaurants throughout Europe and have found this restaurant to display exceptional traits. A strong, reasonably priced wine list , excellently prepared food in terms of both taste and presentation. Large portions!!!! However from our perspective what makes this special is the service. An extremely young, but totally engaging service staff. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Able to explain food offerings and preparation. Our wine Stewart Stephan, simply blew us away with his knowledge and in-depth descriptions. We simply felt comfortable and welcomed, something you do not always experience in high level restaurants. Yes truly a 5 star memorable experience. Short distance from old town in quiet residential area. Walkable from the lake or very short taxi ride. Everyone we spoke to spoke English Thank you

A culinary experience in its own right. We took the 5-course menu, paired with wine. Everything was perfect from A to Z. The food is excellent and the waiter explained to us in detail each time the different dishes offered. A big thank-you.

Good morning. We went to eat with a friend and had the daily menu. Overall, we were disappointed with this experience. The food was below our expectations especially at this price. And unfortunately the service did not help and was deplorable. We were served by a waitress who made a lot of service errors: - wine list directly taken for another table - clear the cutlery before you have finished eating - distribution of the bill while we were waiting for coffee - not the slightest thank you or greeting after understanding that she would not get tips Overall, can clearly do better for such a standard.

Bistro atmosphere, gourmet cuisine, this is the sweet blend that Micheline has achieved. Nothing to do, in the first instance, with the guide who gave it a deserved star. La Micheline is the nickname of a railcar which served the place. The cuisine is Spanish inspired. I really recommend choosing the 5-course surprise tasting menu for 135.- even if the menu is quite extensive too. Pleasure for the eyes and pleasure for the taste buds can characterize each dish where the colors are as chosen as the textures. A great evening and also great opportunities for a business menu at lunchtime. Thanks to the manager for her welcome. All the staff are attentive and willingly share their personal passions for tastes and wines. In the end, we note a perfect location accessible by Léman Express, by tram and with very practical parking.

We tried the 4-course tasting menu and it was quite worth it. The food was very good and so was the bread and tasting oil. We also coupled our meal with a bottle of white wine, which we loved. All in all, a very nice and relaxing experience.

A refined cuisine, full of surprises, with textures and subtleties in abundance without overdoing it. Magnificent selection of wines, for all budgets, a very professional sommelier and an attentive team. All in an elegant and modern setting, a pleasant sound volume, not noisy but not too muffled either. Allow 100 CHF per person without drinks, well spent to enjoy yourself with family or friends. Elegant environment with excellent service attentive to the smallest details, we particularly appreciated how the waiters adapted to the type of clientele, serious with those they had to, less formal and joking with us who preferred it that way. Moving on to the food, we took a five-course "surprise" formula, meaning the chef decides what to do on the same day, we had a really good time, needless to say that in a Michelin star it is superfluous to criticize the cooking of the perfect egg! Despite this, the peculiarity of having dishes based on ingredients from Northern Spain is really pleasant. Finally, the wines, originating from the same region, were presented with true professionalism and, in addition to being excellent, it is nice to compare themselves with more exotic drinks. We will definitely be back

Delicious restaurant with great service, beautifully decorated with comfortable seating and decent size tables (which is not very common in Geneva). A big advantage is underground parking so I can wear heels on special occasions. Definitely will be back, my Top 10 in Geneva.

We had already visited in November 2021, before the restaurant obtained a star. At that time we thought that this cuisine deserved to be rewarded with a star in view of the flavors, the originality of the proposals and the great care taken in the presentation of the dishes. The icing on the cake is that the service is top notch and the sommelier is excellent, he happily shares his passion and gives wise advice to accompany and enhance the dishes. Bravo and thank you for this beautiful moment!

A real treat ! We had a superb evening with a 5-course discovery menu which was simply divine. We also had a food and wine pairing which really enhanced each dish which was so good, colorful, balanced and delicate. The wines were just as good and we had some superb discoveries. Everything was so delicious! We feasted. The servers are top notch, friendly, professional and attentive. As you will see, almost each dish is started before the photo, everything made you want to plunge your fork straight into it 😅 The dessert unfortunately didn't last long because it was so good and there are no photos haha ​​but we also loved the fact that it was changed at the last moment according to the inspiring desire of the chef pastry chef which was a real success. A dessert around coffee that was just delicious. I warmly recommend this beautiful restaurant to which we look forward to returning.

Excellent and surprising 5-course menu from start to finish! The dishes are refined and very well presented, and the wines very well selected. The staff is attentive; small downside however concerning the service which is not sufficiently discreet at times. But I would definitely go back!

I just had an excellent lunch in this bistronomy. The starters were very good, we had the scallops with Jerusalem artichokes and the black squid. The dishes were exceptional, especially the carabinero with paella and the duck breast (perfectly cooked). The service was very good and the atmosphere pleasant. I highly recommend this establishment for a quality dining experience.

It’s a good restaurant and even very good for Geneva , because the local restaurant scene is really not competitive. However, be it in London, Paris or somewhere in Spain - it would not be that special. I have hesitated between 3 and 4 stars. I have visited other Michelin starred restaurants * which surprised me more. My starter Noix de St Jacques was really nice, but the paella style main course was a little too fishy and bitter to my taste. My husband took the magret of canard and he said that cuisson is not as perfect as you can achieve with sous-vide. All in all it’s not bad and I would like to go back and taste other dishes and maybe give it another try. Having lived in London and Paris I am perhaps a little too spoilt, but I have very high expectations when going to * places.

Magnificent bistronomic restaurant in Geneva, at the Eaux Vives station. Super chic and cozy decoration. Lovely and helpful staff. Beautiful menu and choice of wine. Daily bistronomic menu, starter, main course and dessert at a reasonable price. A real delight of flavors and taste for very good value for money. Booking is recommended. Absolutely worth testing
