Everytime we visit Poesia we are extremely happy. The quality of food and the friendly service makes you feel very comfortable. Most of the evenings you need a reservation. We often take friends and even Italian friends to discover the place and they all are very happy. The fresh pasta in parmesan with truffles is to die for!!! Don't hesitate to discover this place and you will become a regular if you like Italian good

Magnificent Italian restaurant located near Malley. The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside but is nicely decorated. A foccacia with ham brought us an aperitif. Nice wine list with some very expensive. The homemade pasta is delicious. Less “fan” of meat is subjective. Very professional service. Quite expensive but excellent quality

Delicious meal, very friendly waiters. Only downside: the manager (?) who made a comment to us when we took 2 starters for 4 and who when we went to say goodbye told us: did you pay?? As if we were going to leave without paying!! Too bad, if he wasn't so focused on money, it would have been flawless.

Excellent. The setting is chic without overdoing it. The dishes are delicious. The menu is small but with a selection of quality products, and each dish offered can be taken either as a starter or as a main course (which ultimately broadens the choice, so there is something to enjoy!). It's quite expensive, but totally OK considering the dishes served, which are very generous in quantity. The service is impeccable. Perfect place to have fun or celebrate an event :) Nothing to complain about, I highly recommend!!

Second time eating at La Poesia and still in love with it. A truly great experience from start to finish. The service is professional and friendly, they know their menu by heart and how to give good recommendations. The food is absolutely delicious! Prices are on the high end but still affordable and definitely worth it. The only inconvenience is the parking slots, there aren't any so you better come by public transport or try to find a place nearby (~5min walk) in a blue zone.

Really good Italian cuisine that you rarely find when you go beyond the Simplon (and not only that). The wines are a little expensive, otherwise nothing to say compared to the prices of the food. An address not to be missed for lovers of good food!

The linguine with verache was delicious, vittello too. The desserts, especially the mille-feuille, are recommended. Care in presentation. Customer oriented service much appreciated. Particularly for the wine advice. Late cooking we arrived at 9:30 p.m. Only downside...a little noisy otherwise establishment to recommend.

Best Italian a Lausanne and Vaud and … Pasta fresca, excellent meat, fresh fish and fresh vegetables. Top quality food and modern Italian food. Important wine list. The chef knows how to use and put together the ingredients. You will be impressed by the quality of the food, a non trivial selection, as for the menu and refined presentation of the dishes. The menu change 2/3 times a year. Excellent. Thank you very much Graziano.

The meal started with a nice focaccia appetiser on the house and bread sticks. We both took pasta, which was good, but we thought the sauce could have been more flavourful in both cases. Both desserts were good.

It’s simple, when you open the door of the restaurant you find yourself in Italy. The staff is attentive to your needs, smiling and professional. The dishes are incredible quality. And the wine list is just magical. Small downside... if one was necessary 😊 the choice of music, a lounge style would perhaps be more appropriate 😉 Absolutely worth discovering!

It's been a long time since I ate this well. Impeccable service in a cozy atmosphere. I recommend without any hesitation!

Unfortunately the entrecôte was overcooked and tough despite our request for it to be cooked rare, the same for the veal chop. As for the carpacio, I had difficulty finding it underneath the salad because it was so tiny. It's unfortunate given the prices asked. The place is nice but parking is a big problem.

In a neighborhood that doesn't look like much, there's a little gastronomic gem! This Italian restaurant is quality with carefully chosen products. To try: the essential truffle pasta made in a wheel of parmesan! The servers are attentive and know how to guide us in our choice.

Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! We loved the carbonara and the fish was exceptional. Our only complaint was the lack of AC but the food makes up for it! The service was excellent as well.

Italian restaurant fans? To date, one of the best (in Switzerland) that I have been to! Reservations recommended, this place is very popular according to a regular who invited my colleagues and me for a business meal.

Almost perfect. The food is just excellent, freshly prepared and very nicely presented. If I had to find a negative point, it would be the slowness of the service. It was not disturbing as we had time. Also it's kind of tough to find parking spots in the area, the best is to go to the underground parking at Malley and walk 5 minutes.

The best Italian restaurant in Lausanne! The P&P (polpette and parmigiana) are to die for, the same for the parccheri al ragu napoletano. A delight! Not to mention the very attentive service who nicely shared with us all the pasta dishes we wanted to share. Go there with your eyes closed!

My favorite restaurant at this current moment. The daily special, typically a pasta dish, is fairly priced for the quality of the meal (29 CHF). There are many types of dishes, from pasta to fish and meat. The cured meat and cheese plates are a great appetizer to share. You would be hard-pressed to find an equally good Italian restaurant in the area. A great bonus is that the staff are friendly and always helpful when it comes to a good recommendation or wine pairing.

To be completely frank we were disappointed, we had based ourselves on the often dytirambic reviews of this establishment, but without our case it was much less so. There were 4 of us and we succumbed to the suggestion, the fresh truffle pasta as a starter. Served lukewarm on cold plates and with uneven portions, frankly we've seen better, but the taste was really GREAT. Second course, we had pasta which was rather average except for one of the guests who had the fish of the day and who was delighted. So given the salty addition, we could have hoped for higher or at least more consistent quality. To finish, a coffee frankly unworthy of an Italian restaurant. So for us an experience of contrasting ups and downs. But clearly the value for money is not there.

Magnificent discovery on a Wednesday evening in early January. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The framework is well thought out. Warm welcome. The dishes are truly excellent, even exceptional. The quantities are generous but it is always fine and careful. Good advice on wines, which are served in suitable glasses (which is rare). The price is justified and we will return with great pleasure.

Beautiful Italian discovery, restaurant located in the Malley roundabout in Lausanne. Warm welcome, staff available and helpful. We ate there at midday, it's best to make a reservation. We were kindly given an amuse bouche which included mortadella and focaccia. We don't eat pork and just asked what was in the foccacia. The waitress directly brought us an appetizer of raw fish, without us asking anything, what high quality service! Excellent food, delicious food, I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed. Little crush on the chef's specialty: pasta tartufo nero. Thank you for this great experience!

A little “welcome” start with a bite of pizza and a slice of mortadella that wakes you up...! Then the “frito misto” as a starter, crunchy and tasty. Finally the pork chop ((350g anyway), well fried and crispy around and the inside cooked tender and juicy... the mastery of the cook. A friendly place where it is good to take some time.
