It's always a great pleasure to eat at St-Paul! The dishes are excellent and the service is really great, very friendly. A word of advice, go for it!

A great experience at this Italian restaurant located on rue d'Echallens. Nice decoration with beautiful bottles. The menu offers tempting artisanal pastas. Choice focused on "Fileja alla 'nduja, and fresh sausage with wild fennel seeds and caciocavallo de la Sila, tomato sauce, basil". Nothing to complain about, excellent. And for dessert, Tasting duo: Tiramisu and Sicilian cannoli. High quality restaurant that has its price, especially for the wines.

grazie mólto! We ate these shellfish 🦐 with pistachio pesto which I found very tasty, refined, gourmet AND shared spicy pasta with fennel sausage with my wife... molto bene 🤌! Very friendly service, I recommend! Italian atmosphere 🇮🇹 guaranteed! Because here the servers like to share their culinary passion and transmit it well. The Saint Paul is a little piece of gastronomic Italy in the heart of Lausanne! The value for money is very good! I recommend this restaurant!!!!!!

Real Italian dishes, I only tasted one pasta dish, it was good but not incredible. The Tiramisu is also good but I do it much better. I find it expensive for very simple cuisine.

Food is great, home-cooked and served home-style, big dishes to share in the middle of the table. Food quality is extraordinary, the bistecca is AMAZING! The wine list is excellent and very varied! One of the best Italian restaurants in Lausanne. The pastas are homemade and all the dishes are full of flavor. They also offered us limoncello. Nice! Very good place to relax and share a good time with friends!

We had a large table so it's always tricky but the servers were very responsive and attentive. I recommend but I will keep you informed that for vegetarians, you have to make yourself heard because the waiter served 6 vegetarian dishes sprinkled with bacon.

We arrived at 19.30, the restaurant was packed and the sound level high. This Italian eatery is considered one of the best in Lausanne and we used to come here often but stopped some 10 years ago. The menu is restricted and lacks real vegetarian alternatives. In comparison, the wine list features many good alternatives some of which are rather pricey. We each had a pasta-seafood dish that were just OK and the 2014 Cabernet-Sauvignon from Lake Garda that we were proposed as an open wine alternative was at the very end of its life cycle, so not really up to our expectation. Over time while eating, we noted progressive rather intoxicating kitchen fumes and once out of the restaurant we quickly realized we needed to take another shower and put all our clothes in our washing machine, requiring a double cycle to get rid of the restaurant kitchen odors.The owners really need to get their act together and improve the evacuation of the fumes from their kitchen! Once and if that has been done, we might return.

Following our visit to your establishment I would like to inform you of our dissatisfaction. We were greeted by the waiter who then placed us at a table, waiting for 15 minutes to give us the menu, we see the owner of the restaurant with his folklore made in Italy greeting all the tables apparently regulars of the place, since arriving at our table total ignorance of this leaves, you have to believe that you have to be a regular of the restaurant to be able to be served, Anyway, after 25 minutes of waiting in total ignorance of the staff, we decided to leave this restaurant with attention never set foot there again. Too bad the boss favors regulars more than passing customers.

Excellent family dinner Saturday evening: refined cuisine (excellent octopus ravioli, Angus beef tartare with gorgonzola, gnocchi like never before), copious portions, attentive waiters, great wine list. We come to Lausanne regularly and have found the restaurant where we will come each of our stays. We had found other excellent Italian restaurants: in Besancon, Da Gianni, (simpler but at a price without any compromise), in Lyon we have, fortunately, the very good Antonio, but I believe that this Lausanne address exceeds it.

The best cooking of my entire life!!!

You have to read until the end. I was invited by a friend for coffee and dessert without reservation but he told us there was only one place on the terrace it was cold but we said no problem except there was an empty table all evening!! Plus they don't speak French very well. What happened to me that evening I forgot a bag with Syrian pastries and two bars of soap from Aleppo I called they told me yes they found the bag and I have to come by Tuesday because on Monday they close I went I got a bar of Aleppo soap and all the rest were stolen I'm angry because I came from far away and then they don't even apologize Sad I do not recommend and above all do not forget an object because it is lost in advance!!

We came by without reservation and asked for a table just for dessert. They told us they have no tables inside but we can sit outside. That's fine, except there were some empty tables all night, it was cold outside and at no point did they do a gesture to let us sit inside. Also, my friend had a bag with expensive pastry and some soap that we forgot on the table. We called them to ask if they could keep it for us and we'll come back to get it. My friend went back and they had taken all the pastry and left just one soap bar. They said it spoiled but later one of their employees admitted that it had been consumed by their colleagues... Awful people

Very tasty pasta here - it's a bit further away from central Lausanne but a minute walk from the bus stop. The portion sizes were very good, I usually find with pasta portions are on the small side, but not here. The aubergine starter was great, as was dessert, top class meal - about 55 CHF per person, including a drink. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though some of them didn't speak English and we don't speak French or Italian, don't be put off! Recommend to anyone wanting some Italian food in Lausanne.

Probably the best, if not one of the very best Italian restaurants in Lausanne. Homemade, original pasta and many other authentic dishes that you can't taste anywhere else. Always as good, whether on site (nice little terrace) or on delivery (I continued to order regularly during the 2020-2021 “Covid” years from them… never disappointed!). Their tiramisu is definitely worth it.

Unmissable Italian restaurant in Lausanne. We called to reserve a table at the last minute, it was full at the moment and the waiter kindly made us wait on the terrace with a small prosecco (very commercial). Then a table became available and we could begin the culinary experience. The food is excellent and the servers are very friendly. Their fish is delicious, absolutely worth trying if you pass through Lausanne!
