Very friendly little bistro. The menu is simple but the food is excellent. The wines by the glass are excellent. But what I liked the most was the service. We feel welcomed. The staff always had a smile and were very professional. Many thanks to them and I recommend this place and will return.

Fast and very kind service! Traditional and clean environment. Watch out for gluten-free. Being celiac I asked if I could eat the cheese fondue, they offered it to me with potatoes instead of bread, I appreciated the solution even if to be picky they could have been cooked a little better... delicious chocolate mousse! At the end of dinner a good sorbet offered by the kitchen! I would go back!

Best mistake ever! Do read it! So our hotel recommended to go to Café du Soleil. Me and my colleague walk there via Google Maps and see a restaurant which serves cheese fondue, looks very busy, looks cosy and a looks like people are enjoying themselves. Confident we found the place, we enjoyed our cheese fondue, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was great. When we walked out; I took a picture and was thinking ‘why does Café du Soleil have two entrances? And why does it say ‘Le Bistro’?’ It doesn’t, we just went to the wrong place. It was the best mistake I made in a long time! The staff is amazing, the service fantastic and the food is beyond anything!

We ate perch meunière fillets on Saturday. Affordable price. The best is the atmosphere of the restaurant which is very pretty with a warm atmosphere. All this served by very kind and caring staff. The lady who served us was exceptionally kind, natural and always smiling. Thank you for this good time at the Petit Saconnex bistro.

This is a hidden gem in Geneva! I visited a lot of restaurants while being in Geneva but this is best out of best in everything! We ordered chicken salad and chicken burger and it was awesome. Very soft chicken and AMAZINGLY tasty fries. We got also all the sauces possible with it near us. Waiter named Mirza (sorry if I got your name wrong😭) from Bosnia & Herzegovina was very nice and he spoke English perfectly. It was a huge menu and everything we had was that good that we ordered desserts as well!! The owner cooked desserts for us himself. We had crème brûlée and selection of mini-desserts with Espresso. It was awesome, best so far in Geneva too. Atmosphere was very pleasant and everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay the most. Thank you for some candies and our last PERFECT meal in Geneva before out flight back to London 🙏

But what joy this little Bistro is! well done to the manager who was able to revive this place (which was very gloomy before) and this during the COVID period, quite a challenge and a great well-deserved success - the boss (Artan) is adorable and takes great care, Angela is very efficient and very professional, always smiling and attentive despite the stress at peak times, the copious dishes and varied tapas, the fondue at the top, very clearly much nicer than the restaurant next door which makes its living from its reputation for too long and which has become overrated (impossible to pass by just for a drink without a reservation, and not welcome either if you arrive after 9:30 p.m. to have a coffee, we make this clear to you), which is not not the case at the Bistro, the owner and staff do their utmost to find you a little corner, with or without a reservation! I love you, I like you, I love you the Bistro!

This historic café, which has always struggled to assert itself alongside the famous Café du Soleil, has, thanks to its new owner, found a new life and, above all, has established itself as a first-rate competitor to the Café du Soleil. Simple but good food, warm decor and above all a great team... thank you for bringing another neighborhood café back to life...

The rebirth of Café du Commerce is a pleasure to see and taste! Friendly setting and international clientele. The dishes at very reasonable prices are for all palates (omnivore and others) and the welcome is warm and efficient. The toppings are just not up to par, which is why it lacks a star, but Le Bistro is worth the detour! Keep it up !

Good food, nice setting, renovated restaurant.

Very good restaurant with a great welcome. A little expensive children's dish but excellent food. Only disappointment, a dish of nuggets, several of which were not cooked at all, return to the kitchen but no action taken afterwards.. Not very commercial.

Regular visitor of the establishment, I must say the attention we are given is refreshing in the Swiss landscape of customer mistreatments. I feel home at Le Bistro. (I would have kept the original name… ☺️)

One of my favorite places in Geneva for after-work drinks. Chill vibes, great platters, & drinks. Dog friendly! The staff and owner are always providing great service and are super friendly and attentive.

This outdoor cafe is lovely, staff is super friendly and the food/drinks were good. However you have to be able to tolerate the smoke, dogs and birds if you sit outside.

I went there 5 days ago to reserve a table for this evening.....and there was no room left when I arrived! They could have called me on my cell phone to inform me. They didn't look for a solution, didn't apologize. Catastrophic! Fortunately, there is Luigia just a stone's throw away, which saved our birthday party! To avoid !

Everything was perfect ! the food was excellent, the service was very efficient and attentive. Hearty meal, very very good. Very cozy, relaxing and calm atmosphere. We had a great evening. Wheelchair accessible. I recommend this restaurant and without any problem award it the prize for the best restaurant in Petit Saconnex. We took, Perch fillet (for a child), chicken skewer (for a child), fondue (1 person), 1 Swiss burger. INCREDIBLE 'coffee gourmet' dessert! Very hearty without being 'too much'. This restaurant is a gem. They haven't finished seeing us!

Delicious ! I have no other word to describe the excellent fondue that we tasted! It is rare to be served so well in both quantity and quality! Clearly, Le Bistro is a restaurant I would enjoy returning to. And I also thank our hostess for the excellent advice on food and wine pairing.

I thank the owner who responded to my negative comment. A standard answer… A “Bistrot” which welcomed around fifteen customers who had reserved for the restaurant next door. You didn’t tell these customers that they were in the wrong place…. They ate at your place and not in the restaurant they had reserved….. This is not only not honest and not commercial. Fortunately, the famous café/restaurant next door doesn't care about your methods. You will never be able to race with one of the oldest Geneva cafés which is over 4oo years old. Your ‘Bistrot’ is a copy/paste of your Les Grottes brand. Wines: too expensive, over-arranged terrace (help, we’re all stuck) and… what's going on with your ventilation in the kitchen...?

Discovered by chance. I absolutely wanted to eat a half and half fondue! Not disappointed because served with bread and a decent portion. Advantage to the terrace. Fast service and kindness from the waiter. Delicious homemade pistachio crème brûlée. Delighted with my Swiss evening
