Want a hearty sandwich? Le Charlot is the ideal place. The sandwich I had ( ricanos ) is just excellent and is super well stocked. The others also look good and should therefore be tested next time. The products are fresh and I thank again the 2 waiters (brother and sister) who were able to advise me well for my enormous hunger, top service, 5 stars Mr & Mrs! The atmosphere makes you feel at home. It is therefore with my eyes closed that I can only recommend this place. Just, I find that the drinks are a little expensive, but for artisanal recipes why not and more seating would be welcome.

It's really bad, plus there's a woman who works there who heated me up just so I could come and eat there and in the end it's very disgusting and it feels like the 93 inside “I do not recommend”

Microwaved merguez is new trend in culinary art. Highly recommend it if you are into salmonella. Cheap prices though (you’ll make up for it with hospital bills). Great location, friendly staff. Gentlemen, it was a nice ride. À Dieu.

I agree with a lot of comments, the sandwiches are good quality and tasty but the service is really atrocious! The young man, quite tall with the beard and the cap, is always very unpleasant, bordering on aggressive. He has no sense of business, if he doesn't like his job he would do well to give way to someone who wants to serve people with courtesy and good humor. I pity his colleagues. And let's not talk about the extras, a 1/2 avocado that they charge you 3 CHF is downright theft

A little expensive for what it is, too little stock

I had already eaten one of their sandwiches in another of their restaurants, that of Vevey, and I was very satisfied. So I suggested this sandwich shop to my friends for one of our lunches. Firstly, the waiter who took care of me did not seem to be clear about the process for making the sandwich, secondly, this waiter was very unpleasant and rude, his behavior was not "familiar" as some would say , three, the sandwich literally has no taste. I couldn't believe my mouth and I asked my friends' opinions on their sandwich, all the same, no taste. Having this kind of service and having such mediocre ingredients should be prohibited, I don't recommend this sandwich shop to anyone. Honestly, if you want a better sandwich it should be pretty simple, just go to the nearest Migros and buy a basic sandwich there and tadaaaa, simple as that.

Several visits, quality of sandwiches very good with wide choice, however the staff was always unwelcoming, spoke to us in a very familiar way, and we had the impression of boring them a little. It can happen, but this was always the case and with different staff each time.

Here is the Charlot technique in Lausanne: Today (10.11.2020), we were looking with a friend for where to go to eat, our choice fell on the Charlot in Lausanne. My friend comes in first and while I was disinfecting my hands, I see him talking with the two waiters but I can't hear what they are saying (between wearing a mask and the noise). When I go to my friend, he tells me that there are only cold sandwiches and that they don't make hot sandwiches. And then, I say “Oh well, is the oven broken?”, then the waiter turns to me and says: “You see the oven door over there, well if you see it you are strong, because I don’t see it.” I was so shocked by the response that we ended up leaving without ordering! When I wanted to come back in the afternoon once alone to explain myself, the two employees seemed far too busy, sitting on a chair playing on their laptop in what appears to be the back room, visible from the exterior. I preferred not to disturb them! I think this is a lousy way to treat customers! I won't go back there again!

Never seen such an unpleasant and unprofessional waiter! No hello, he accosts customers with a “did you talk to me?! » with an aggressive look. Not to mention that he is always in shorts, which is very limited for a kitchen. No respect and no courtesy, we will never go there again! I don't understand how you can keep an employee with such behavior, very disappointing because the sandwiches are very good but the service leaves a bitter taste...

Great sandwiches with a wide choice (hot or cold). The big strong point is certainly the sauces, whether they are homemade or not, they are all excellent. Also special mention to all the cold sandwiches with avocados, there's nothing better in summer! I'm giving it 4 stars because it's still a bit expensive for a sandwich shop. Nothing to say about the quality and even the quantity, the sandwiches are well (too?) full.
