Very rude manager, Mr Claude-Alain Besse! An unprofessional behavior. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were met with hostility and rudeness from Mr. Besse, who refused us entry without any valid explanation!!! Never saw such behavior in Switzerland which is usually renowned for its hospitality.

Well, a good burger, a good time to relax.

We had a really good experience! Although we had to queue for quite a while (normal for arriving at peak lunch time on a beautiful Saturday), the waitress attending to us was brilliant, even when the stress of a fully packed restaurant and some high-maintenance customers could have potentially ruined anyone's spirits. Plus, the food was great 😜.

I have been to a number of resorts in the alps over the years. Only this season I have been to four different resorts in three countries. For me there is no better restaurant than Le Dahu. The service is fantastic. It's a very busy restaurant but the service is both fast and friendly. Food selection is great, with Pata Negra and exclusive pasta dishes and also a great pizza selection. Everything is good! The location is also perfect with a great view of the mountains. It's not cheap, of course, but I don't mind paying for this level of quality.

Excellent swiss mountain food, high in the alps. Local ingredients, lots of cheese-based foods. Great quality, lots of flavour. Make reservations!

The food is very good, in a pleasant setting with fast, friendly and professional service. Inside or outside on the terrace in the sun with a superb panorama. There are dishes for everyone, from snails to pizza (Dahut is my favorite), made by a real pizza chef on site. The only downside is that you can't really book and you have to be patient. But the wait is reduced quite quickly and there is the possibility of having a drink while waiting. An establishment that really deserves to eat there.

High quality eatery on the pistes! You ccsn book before 12:30 but otherwise expect somewhat of a queue at peak hours. Enjoyed dinner outside on one occasion and inside on the other. Both had good service with a busy atmosphere. The food is Verbier's local and you can also grab a pizza. On average it's expensive though I expect warranted with the superior on piste offering they have.

Nice view, but the food wasn't good. We ordered 6 different dishes, but they were all bad! Old oil, no salt, bland, doughy, cold... what a shame!

Great fondue and service! Well done. Of course too many people , very loud but what can you do, better than many places on the slopes. No need to ski there, 25 chf pedestrian pass to Ruinette, then 30 mins walk , beautiful view, then queue for 40 mins. Finally top lunch with fantastic view, worth the wait.

Not much of a skier ⛷️ but I was visiting family in Verbier for the holidays and we were up on the mountain by this place. Didn’t go inside or get any food, but the prices seemed decent and the panoramic view of the mountains was truly spectacular! Happy New Year!

The best restaurant on the slopes!

Came here for lunch twice. Was happy with my food both times. I got the “le dahu” pizza and the chèvre chaud salad which were delicious. The cafe baileys wasn’t too strong and didn’t have much flavor. The atmosphere was good and service was fine.

I recently tried the Nutella crepes from Le Dahu, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The crepe itself was almost empty, lacking the generous filling I was expecting. Furthermore, the service left much to be desired. I experienced a significant wait time, which was made more frustrating by the fact that another customer, who ordered after me, was served first. The staff member preparing the crepes seemed unusually slow in her approach, contributing to the delay. To top it off, the price of CHF 8.50 felt exorbitant for what was offered. At such a price point, I would expect not only exceptional quality in the food but also efficient and prioritized service. Unfortunately, neither was the case here. Given these factors, I can only rate my experience with one star out of five. I hope to see improvements in both the quality of the crepes and the service in the future.

Quite simply the most welcoming service and the best food, not only on the slopes but in all of Verbier. Claude-Alain and his team do everything just right and the other restaurants pale in comparison. We come back with our eyes closed and we systematically leave with a huge smile.

Food is really good but the queues to get the food are just too long and slow moving. It's a real shame.

Excellent address. Super friendly owner who, despite a crowded terrace, managed to find us a table for two people even though we had not reserved. The pizzas are excellent (Norwegian pizza) and very well garnished. The waitresses are absolutely adorable and very efficient. Fast service and quality food. I highly recommend

Mountain restaurant with a magnificent view, excellent service and careful cuisine. The products are fresh, the warm goat's cheese salad was decorated with small seasonal red fruits, the sauce was a little too thin for my taste, the cheese crusts looked great in their cast iron dishes, the Petite Arvine was excellent. Impressive wine list at very reasonable prices. Finish with an essential Dahu coffee!

Best restaurant on the mountain - awesome service and food

Very nice location with beautiful views. The cheese fondue is not great but tasty, the bread was unfortunately quite tough. It is expensive, but you also expect that in Switzerland on the slopes/on a mountain.

This place is just magnificent! The service is excellent and so are the staff. I recommend this place!!

Everything is done to have a good time. Quality cuisine and staff. Huge terrace. A little noisy inside but the view comes first. Booking is recommended.

During rush hour, the restaurant is extremely full, which creates a queue until you can finally sit down. The food is top.

I had a great time at le Dahu last week! It was a bit of a wait for the table because there were events going on all day in the area but the food came very quickly and was delicious! The bathroom was ok but could use more attention in hand soup refill.

Consistently excellent food. Will get very busy so reserve, even in the off-season. The terrace has sn amazing view, the inside dining room is good enough and overall the place is usually crowded.

A ski or cycle around Verbier is not complete without a long lunch in the restaurant here. Incredible views on a sunny day, and a great place to take a long lunch over a bottle or two of red to shelter from the storm. Don’t miss the duck shepherds pie and steak tartare.

A fantastic spot high atop Le Chaux, and great for a bite between ski runs. As it's late season in April, most other restaurants on the mountains are closed and so the lunch rush was extremely busy. It was difficult to get the attention of the rushed servers for drink refills, for example. However, the food was top notch, fresh greens in the salads, piping hot delicious pizza, kid-friendly options. We didn't have a table with a view, but those who did had great panoramic views of the mountains. Highly recommend!

Top restaurant in a top location. Oh, the view! We chose to dine outside and when it began to get chilly they popped up a roof and turned on outdor heaters.

The crepes are delicious. The chef takes his time and prepares them with passion. So, it takes time, hence the 3 stars in service, it was really long. But if you have time, really delicious and the view is exceptional. On the other hand, if you are in a hurry to go skiing again, go there outside of peak hours. In any case, enjoy your meal, I recommend it

One of the best places to eat in the area, high standard and a good large selection, also in terms of price at the higher end. But the food certainly does not disappoint, can recommend both fondue, pizza, salads, pastas etc. And certainly also their good desserts. Large parasols come up when it's cool, so often good opportunities to sit outside

Always great for lunch, from pizza to tartare there is a large range of excellent food. Do not be afraid of the queue at the entrance!

What is already known here is that you will have to wait a while before you get a seat in the afternoon. I was standing alone in line waiting for my son and friend. Stood in line for an hour and left many other tables in front of me because I was alone and they didn't want to put me at a table alone. It's all about the money, but I also had something to drink or a snack or appetizer... Beautiful view of the mountains. Ceazer salad was only mediocre. Lots of lettuce, little parmesan and anchovies and the chicken was dried out.

Despite the crowds, the staff has great resistance to stress and the dishes are extremely well prepared. I recommend the cheese crust which is rarely this good.

Friendly welcome, very nice staff, wide choice of dishes and desserts at various prices, quite careful cuisine. Fair value for money. Nice little bar at the entrance and large terrace with a nice view. Sometimes a little crowded around midday, recommended to reserve if you want to eat in high season.

Good crepes and nice situation in the middle of the ski slopes, close to the ski lifts. It is not specifically a crêpes place, there is also a self service restaurant + a normal restaurant upstairs. Large sunny terrasse. It can obviously be pretty busy in the afternoon.

A beautiful place to chill among the swamps...

The place to go to if you’re looking for a traditional swiss meal on the slopes. A wide variety of appetizing cheese dishes, each, while simple, was done at a high quality. The atmosphere was really cosy but the service felt a bit understaffed: often had to wait a while and one of our orders was forgotten. My rating: 4.2

Delicious fries, chocolate chaud, cappuccino and whatever else your heart desires. There are even fresh crepes 😁 When it's sunny it's amazing outside with the view.

Top food, top service, top organisation, top view. I was really impressed by Le Dahu which I've heard so much of. This is officially my favourite place in Verbier. Everyone who has ever been skiing knows what a hassle lunch on the piste can be but Le Dahu has perfected it in my opinion. You can either have early lunch and make a reservation for before 12:30 OR queue up and get sat on their huge terrace or huge indoor. I queued for about 20-30min on a sunny day around Christmas. You are only given a table if your entire party is there so don't send your kid to queue for you. When we got the further possible table in the corner of the terrace, I was delighted for the view but thought "Damn we'll never get served here". WRONG, the waiter immediately brought menus and came back a few minutes later to take our order. We had 3 pizzas and 3 drinks, all of which was served in under 15min wait which is really impressive considering how busy it was. The pizza was delicious, definitely the best in Verbier, easily beats Chez Martin and Al Capone. Won't comment of price because it's a) Switzerland and b) a ski resort. This restaurant is accesible to skiers as well as non-skiers FYI so no excuse not to visit. I look forward to coming back.

Last time I came I wrote: "Amazing pizzas, great service, and wonderful views...", this time the service was broken and it took over an hour for the pizza... waitress did not bother to check and then manager came over all apologetic trying to offer free drink but I just wanted my son's food. They gave us some free stuff but overall disappointing. Also went downstairs the following day hoping the self service would be better but the soup was bland as dishwater, my son did love his savoury crepe, and the chips were plentiful

Rating for the lower part/Self Service. Goulash soup was a vegetable soup with meat, the quality of the meat was below average. The soup had nothing that should characterize a hearty goulash soup, not even a dark sauce as a base, disappointing. The piece of carrot cake was a bit too dry. The underground organization and the absurd waiting times kill the bird. Queue outside, cashier serves drinks (self service?). Could have taken 2 minutes, but took around 20 minutes.

The walk on the snowy mountain to reach the restaurant on foot was very pleasant, I ordered delicious homemade morel ravioli!! My companion had a 4 cheese pizza which was also exquisite! Very friendly and responsive staff, very nice place I highly recommend
