One of my favorite places in Geneva, the owner and the waiters are very friendly and you always feel good in their unique atmosphere!

Le Phare is the coolest bar in all of Switzerland, truly unique. I've known it since my student days in Geneva. Quality and service have remained consistent over a decade. Cheerful and friendly waitstaff, a disciplined crowd, warm atmosphere, great background music, and delicious drinks. The bar reflects the greatness, openness, and community spirit of the city of Geneva. Bravo!

Superb atmosphere, cozy and cheap

In a narrow and rebellious alley on the right bank of Geneva is this intimate bar with cozy and informal decoration in a very successful eclectic musical atmosphere, personally chosen by the owner. The hot chocolate for 5 CHF is made from natural unsweetened cocoa with cow's or vegetable milk according to dietary guidelines. A nice and popular place in Geneva not to be missed.

Good wines. Cozy, warm atmosphere with good music. Ideal for tapas.

My favorite bar in Geneva! The food is always great. I especially love the empanadas, super tasty. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. The drinks are quite good and reasonably priced. Definitely my go to place for a drink with friends!

Very nice bar with good atmosphere and delicious drinks! The Sex on the Beach is delicious. The empanadas are also good. They have tables indoors and outdoors. It’s worthy visiting.

Good cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Relaxed atmosphere in a parallel street, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the station. Tapas without fuss, not exceptional but very correct. Waiters and waitresses, good atmosphere, available and quite fast. I recommend for a somewhat quiet stop near the station!

The setting is very pleasant, on the other hand I have made it a habit to frequent the white water competitor where the atmosphere is much friendlier, you feel at home there.

Beer with friends, I come here often and I can't say anything, except that on Saturday 1st April someone stole my wallet from the pocket of my jacket which was hanging from the hook under the counter. Sure, I'll still meet up with my friends, I'll just be more careful.

Nestled in a small street in the middle of town, a stone's throw from Manor, with a great terrace. really cool prices and above all great team. even if for some time now the atmosphere has not been quite the same, following several departures. Really a shame, because there was this little madness that we no longer find.

For non-smokers, being any where smoking is allowed is a challenge, especially on a terrace or patio. We started seat indoors. We has cheerful service and delightful chats with the staff. We moved out to the terrace and Luke was wonderful with our drink orders. We relaxed for about 4 hours there. It was a safe space and fun.

Great place to relax and have a beer

Went there this afternoon for a drink alone. The place was so quiet and peaceful. The music was amazing, indie stuff and the waiter who welcomed me was so nice and friendly! Excellent guy, made me feel comfortable! Thank you sir!

Outstandingly friendly queer vibe. Really enjoyed my visit. Staff seemed polite and helpful to a passing visitor. Would be my regular haunt if I wasn't just passing through. Highly recommend. Geneva needs more of these quaint, entertaining, artisanal, sub-culture venues otherwise it risks becoming an archaic caricature of stoic, pious protestantism.

Visited during a recent weekend trip to Geneva. Great atmosphere, loved the outdoor seating. The best part was the friendly service. The drinks were good too. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Le Phare, will definitely go back.

Nice moment the cocktail at 21 francs and the Mojito (personally too much sugar) I recommend it. And the waiter is so funny, personally it's the first time I've seen a waiter squatting (leg bent, spread) to pay. I recommend this place. Nice discovery

The Lighthouse is a charming place, sheltered in a quiet little street. The atmosphere is welcoming and the prices are more than reasonable (especially for Geneva). It’s gay friendly, without being gay cliché. Oh, there's a terrace. I returned there with the post-covid arrangements, and the fact of no longer being crowded at the bar is strange, but they have nothing to do with it. Looking forward to a return to normal.

Very friendly staff and terrace. Coming from Lyon we stopped there for a drink. The setting is bucolic. The street is pedestrianized so no car noise. The only downside is having to write your COVID details with a pen that everyone uses.

Visited this bar two times on a recent trip to Geneva. Super-friendly bartenders and a great place to make new friends. Prices were reasonable and a diverse mix of customers. I will definitely go back on my next trip to Geneva.

Le Phare was such a nice place. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The apps and the drinks were great in this friendly place. And they take Apple Pay which was great because we didn’t have CHFs.

The blond guy who is the bartender is extremely rude and inappropriate. I had ordered a blond bottled beer with the woman who was very nice then then went back for a second round, I showed the guy the bottle and said “can I have another one of this.” He gave me a brown beer so I said no it’s not the right one. He threw it aggressively behind him and said “you should avoid using words like another one.” So I replied and said “I showed you the bottle!” I don’t need to spend my money on rude people.

We will enjoy stopping at the Lighthouse for several reasons: a welcoming and smiling team, local and mainly organic products, a quiet place during the day and lively in the evening. A relaxed bar that is not common in Geneva, an unconditional meeting point for the Geneva LGBT community. Located 2 minutes walk from the station. Small terrace in summer.

Not too big but cozy, a bookshelf in the back and nice service.

I went there before it closed, I've been going back since it reopened. Gay friendly place, everyone is welcome. I say bravo for the restoration, some things have not changed, like the bar or the small platform in front of the window. At the back the room is a success. This tastefully decorated bar is very well located a stone's throw from the train station. The service is cordial and professional. Very good music and atmosphere.

This bar was closed for two years for work and what did we find? Identical decor and a terrace under construction. Okay it's alternative but the poorly served gin and tonic at 16 CHF is quite scandalous given the setting and the service. In short, total depression.
