Very good meal, very good service, but everything is hidden by a stingy and dishonest boss who does not know how to read his loyalty card conditions and prefers to take out 6 (hello respect for the environment) rather than put in the voucher number of buffers on a single card

always the same problem with loyalty cards on which 1 stamp per person per meal is clearly noted. But there were 6 of us, so 6 buffers. The boss refused to put 6 stamps on my card and after insisting gave us 6 cards with 1 stamp. So, cards in the trash because we won't be going back.

Catastrophic, unfriendly service and cold dishes without compensation...I went there with a friend this afternoon. The service was very long and, what's more, unfriendly. The dishes were cold and when we wanted to point it out the waitresses pretended to ignore us.

So, this may seem surprising but... if you order a burger, fries and a drink, you absolutely have to tell the waitress that you want the offer: "combo". If you did not explicitly say so when placing the order, the boss will charge you the full price, explaining that you had to specify that you wanted this offer :)

Scam look at what you find in the beef tartare 29.- for 140g. Huge pieces of dried tomatoes!! 😡😡 and it's not specified beef tartare with tomato. 5. 6 frits chasing each other?? Thieves ! I wouldn't go back there again!!

Really nice ! The place is cool. We came with our children. It was full but they made us feel welcome and found a little corner so we could settle down. Very friendly waiter 👍🏼

Recommended restaurant for authentic brasserie dishes such as tarte flambée and burgers. Friendly and competent service - bravo!

When I can, I particularly like to come and relax for a while in the afternoon, and simply enjoy a Flammenkueche Chevrière and a house beer. A preference for Fruity which goes wonderfully with this dish, I think. Here there is obviously no gastronomy but a taste for simple and effective things. The service, friendly, fast, smiling, is there at this time. Pleasant. Thank you and congratulations to the whole team.

Friendly staff but that's it. The food should be avoided completely and the beers are not good. I ate one of the worst chicken burgers of my life there.

Beware of scam! I take a Flamenkuch and they offer me the small salad, which is indicated on the menu in the list of Flamenkuch as costing 2.5 francs. So I'm surprised to see that I'm charged 7.90 in the end. I question the waiter who tells me that he did not say "green salad" (the one offered at 2.50 more with aflamenkuch) but that he had said "mixed salad" which is a starter in itself, but offered in a completely different part of the menu. I pointed out to him that the way he presented it was really confusing but he didn't want to hear anything. Clearly a scam set up to lure the customer... a very bad one calculation: his 5 tips went into this disgusting salad!

As usual, the service and welcome were there 🤩 The dishes tasted as delicious as ever 😋 I highly recommend this place which has been run by a very warm and smiling director for almost 20 years 👏

They asked me what I wanted to drink, I had a beer. While drinking my beer, I was asked what I wanted to eat, I had a burger. I notice that there is a beer+burger discount, but only available when ordering both at the same time. Not very commercial to refuse this small discount. That woman that works on Mondays. She is rude and when you enter an establishment it's just normal you would greet and try to help customers no matter what it is. I do understand that you need to speak French here but to be rude from the start is just white trash approach. Especially that woman who works in the bar. I hope all the bad things in life happens to you and no one else. Workers like this find their attitude from management and I hope she keeps giving bad vibes and you get more bad workers.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at Brasseurs de Lausanne. Once seated and having had to ask for the cards ourselves after a long wait, a very rude waiter finally took our order. We received the food, without cutlery... So we had to ask him for it, so that he threw it at us on the table while complaining. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. My friend, choking while drinking water (from the carafe), takes a piece of glass out of his mouth. Once informed, the waiter clears himself by accusing us of having broken our own glasses while clinking glasses. Toast with water? Bad faith, bad mood. Not a single excuse, my friend could have really hurt his throat. also working in the service and with full knowledge of the facts, I can say that this is the worst service of my life. However, the food was good and the setting was nice. It’s a shame that some of the staff don’t reflect this.

We chose this restaurant just by looking at the outside, we went in and loved it, the beer was perfect, the food was divine and the dessert was delicious, the waiter who served us was Brazilian/French, which was wonderful because I was able to speak Portuguese in Switzerland, imagine…

It's a very stylish restaurant, and the coffee cups inside are all designed by yourself. The cappuccino we ordered was very delicious, the coffee was not very bitter, and the milk tasted very fragrant. The service staff has a very good attitude and is very nice.

The food was OK, nothing extraordinary, quick service. The non-alcoholic beer was really not good (Heineken style), I expected better from a brewery since now there are great non-alcoholic IPAs etc everywhere.

Nice place to eat open 7/7 perfect if you are visiting the beautiful city of Lausanne and if the other restaurants are closed, they are always open, and you will always find something to eat. Excellent beer that we recommend when ordering. Very convivial and rustic atmosphere.

Took meat with rösti, the rösti was not fresh, old as hell, bland vegetables, my daughter had a breaded chicken which arrived in less than 5 minutes, very old she was chewing cardboard, the fries were dry, frankly disgusted, I couldn't will not go back

Friendly service and surroundings but the food was really bad. Too peppery, the potatoes and vegetables very acidic, the meat not cooked enough. Everything remained on our stomachs all afternoon. Frankly, to drink a beer ok but to eat, avoid.

The dishes arrive in less than 5 minutes, because everything is frozen food reheated in a hurry. The rösti are filthy, cold with a disturbing taste. The quality of the meat in the burgers is also reassuring. Undercooked, pieces of cartilage, etc. For a beer why not, but avoid food at all costs.

Don't go there for lunch. The food is average and the service is slow. Update 5 years later: This time they forgot our order, we had to leave after 50 minutes without eating. Unbelievable!

Rude staff. Did not want to accommodate a table of 6 for drinks when there was still room. After insisting, they were kind enough to welcome us (person with disabilities in our group) In the end there were still tables of 6 and 8. But since we didn't eat, they were very unpleasant.

Good evening, really disappointed this evening just because of a not at all honest server. We ask for the bill (who says bill says detailed ticket as in all restaurants) and no he arrives with the machine and tells us the price of 63.10. My wife, before paying, asks for the famous ticket that we normally get all the time. He goes to get it and almost throws it on our table. To our great astonishment the price is 60.10. So this person wanted to tip 3 francs. No excuses, this person is really dishonest, it’s shameful. Pay Attention ⚠️

The pasta ricotta are not fresh and far too garlicky. Service was mediocre. That changed a lot in 5 years.

Passing through Lausanne I went to this restaurant last night, I was very well received and the service went very well Olivier, member of the staff, was very attentive and the food was delicious!

A 45 minute wait to ask where our order was, only to discover that the server hadn't even validated it. Then when the order finally arrived it wasn't what we asked for. Waiting an hour for a simple Flamenkuche is unacceptable. The lack of professionalism and responsibility of the staff is blatant. Absolutely avoid for those looking for efficient service and decent dishes.

Don't take the mussels, they have no taste: "marinières" but without shallots, parsley, or white wine... plus a piece of plastic on the plate... not to mention that we are all squeezed together on a mini table, three of us, while as you can see in the photo, we are still walking with all the boards around us empty! The boss not only did not apologize but looked down on me. The servers are all super good, friendly and professional, as they are on every visit. This time will certainly be the last however.

I walked in and greeted the staff member (Max) with a smile. He doesn’t even look at me and walks away. Then comes back 2 minutes later to take my order and gives me the feeling that I‘m an idiot for ordering at the bar instead of ordering at the table. Ok, it‘s my first time here… All that I could maybe forgive if the beers weren’t absolutely horrifying. I‘m a certified beer sommelière and serving beers like this should be a crime: some beers have an off flavour, some obviously contain additives. One beer clearly didn’t feement long enough, and the so called „fruited“ beer is simply a Panaché (beer with Sprite). Ridiculous! Avoid this place if you‘re into beer. The interior design is ok. I could live without the sticky tables, though…

I ask for nuggets, and they serve me a piece of breaded chicken cut into strips. I ask for a 0.5 of white 3 times, they forget about me 1 time, they serve me a 0.25 of blonde the second time and the third finally a 0.5 but always blonde.. honestly go to the one in Geneva or Neuchâtel. The one in Lausanne is broken

Went to dinner last night with an enormous group and the food was ideal to accompany with their cold beer. The service was amazing, especially considering our huge group! I highly suggest the flatbreads... especially those with bacon!

For Brazilians, the service when serving beer is slow. The food I tried (Rostii) I didn't think was anything great.

I have been going there for 20 years with family or with friends and colleagues. In recent years the service has deteriorated quite a bit (even if the staff almost always remains courteous)... No coordination, often long waits for no apparent reason, frequent forgetfulness, etc. Little anecdote: after all these years I I recently learned that there is a 'loyalty card' because I asked the question... I was given it but I am never asked for it.. Some friends no longer go there. It's a shame... (I'm giving it one last chance because my children love this area that they've always known).

Hello, this comment follows that of Agathe Lugon, to which you have just reacted. We were sitting at the same table and decided to leave a humorous comment as we were so distraught by the situation. If you characterize our comment as “degrading” and “humiliating”, allow me to describe in detail the situation which was just as degrading. We arrive on the terrace of your establishment with a friend and settle in. We were completely ignored by the waiter to whom we tried as best we could to signal for more than 30 minutes. (Do we look too young to deserve respect?) After a long wait and several customers arriving after and served before us, we finally got his attention and asked if it was possible to order Moscow Mules. “What?!? I don’t know, I don’t know the menu by heart,” the friendly waiter with glasses retorts. So we finally order two vodka tonics for more than 14 francs. (Relatively exorbitant price knowing that we will later receive two half-filled glasses, the majority of which are ice cubes but that is not the problem). We pay on the spot. The waiter came back a few minutes later explaining to us that the payment had not gone through. We therefore pay again but looking at the amount displayed on the machine we see 36.- (much more than the amount due). We therefore explain that there is an error and request a refund. The waiter immediately gets annoyed and tells us that no, it’s the price. He doesn't want to hear anything and raises his voice. He will only calm down when I have the reflex to take out the menu and confront him with his mistake. No apology from him obviously. We request the presence of a superior who turns out to be just as unpleasant. We are refunded the difference, without the slightest apology. Subsequently, the waiter will return to the table once again to charge for beers that he had already charged to my friends. Once again, he leaves without apology. I therefore allow myself to respond to you that the evening we experienced at your home was, in my opinion, much more denigrating and humiliating than the comment that was left for you.

Agave & lime. A fruity beer, freshly accompanied by a slice of lime, will offer your palate light acidic notes, very little sweet and without a doubt, the opportunity for you to discover a different flavor. Brasseries when it comes to eating, respect traditions. There will never be vegan dishes and only meat. On the other hand when it comes to music, Rock is rare and there are things like Myle - Not Ready that I shazamed for you to enjoy too (LOL). There apparently we don't care about traditions. Too bad, because I just enjoy drinking a good beer, in the end I am disgusted by the music and I don't enjoy it despite the good beer.

Waiters either don't or don't want to speak english. Although otherwise were friendly and attentive. Food was good. Wheat beer was either somewhat turned sour or I didn't understand something, as it's brewed on the spot and possibly that's the taste to be. P.s. ordered same beer at "Les Brasseurs" in Geneve - no sourness at all, even some sweet notes. Obviously in Lausanne the beer was tainted. Sad.

Staff rude and not friendly, not a place to go with a stroller or a wheelchair as they complain about it in a very rude way! Disappointing for us as regular clients of les brasseurs Geneva. I see here a lot of negative comments about the poor hospitality and the rude staff. Maybe you should treat the HR catastrophe you have in Lausanne better than just justifying on Google reviews the reasons why the staff is rude.

Very welcoming and friendly waiter. Fast service but we were practically alone in the restaurant. On the other hand, in terms of dishes (a burger - fries similar to those of the McDonald's and a Savoyard rösti), very disappointed with the quality, without real flavors. We expected much better given the notes/reviews which we still don't understand 😅

Very good beers. Very good flammenkuch! Unfortunately, today the oven was broken. We had to order something else. I don't recommend the burger (rock-hard bread, mediocre frozen fries, useless salad). One of the servers, whose name I will not mention, is undrinkable. Almost threw the menus at us, no smiles or glances throughout the evening, and suddenly became "nice" at the time of the bill. (I should point out that this anecdote happened another time) Damage !

The salad with cheese was delicious. The tarte flambée was good, but could have used another minute in the oven. The tasting with 5 beers is always an experience and fun. What's not fun is the unmotivated service. The guests next to us left because they hadn't been served for a long time. Our Hugo tasted way too much like syrup, which we told the waiter. In response, we were reprimanded that we are not at home here and that this is how it is done here. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all.
