Very interesting restaurant, it’s quite small and you can either eat inside ordering from the menu, or buy take away from the buffet options. They also have a small shop with Iranian products. Food is just delicious. Service is very good.

We've have a very good experience in Little Persia. It was our first time trying persian food and the staff (specially Laura!) were super helpful and kind explaining all the dishes they offered. They explained to us that the food is homemade everyday by the owner's mother, which is just awesome. They reheat it for you, but they know very well how to do it and the flavour and textures are very good. Everything is super aromatic, with lots of pistachios and saffron flavour, and the presentation of the dishes were just beautiful. Definitely we will come back and keep trying their delicacies

A wonderful discovery: vegetarian tasting menu for 2! Colorful and delicious starter dish, main course with a different colorful and fragrant rice flower accompanied by 3 fantastic dishes! A discovery of new flavors and many aromas accompanied by a delicious saffron green tea! To try without hesitation!

We ate at lunch with my colleague. The starters were mediocre, the garlic was edible. Reheat lamb shank in the microwave, and tasteless saffron rice. We will not set foot in this vile place again. 37.- for that we are really disappointed

Very good food and friendly service. I have already returned 5 times. I have eaten in Persian restaurants in several countries and with Iranians and I find the cuisine here very good knowing that the cuisine is not on site. They also sell Persian gastronomy products and refined decorative objects.

I'm disappointed that for the price restaurant offers food dishes, the food itself is cold and warmed up in the microwave.

In this restaurant, there is a good balance between quantity and quality: the dishes are truly generous, and you can get quite full from them. If you want to satisfy your hunger and try something different from European cuisine, I could recommend this restaurant. However, on the first page of the menu, the owner honestly warns that their kitchen is located elsewhere, so all dishes are prepared there in advance and reheated in the microwave in the restaurant itself. Also, personally, I found the variety of dishes lacking. There are no Iranian drinks on the menu. The staff is polite and friendly. The place is small.

We ate for lunch at three, frankly I don't understand how there are 4 and a half stars???!!!!! Neither the rice nor the meals were fresh!! Personally, I had a stomach ache all night, very mediocre!

Not gross but not good either. Rather dry and super expensive for what it is. It's a shame because I'm sure that Iranian cuisine is delicious and very rich.

Yesterday, July 27, 2023, around 8:15 p.m., I wanted to buy rolls of vine leaves to import. The man selling took the plastic bowl and put his four fingers inside the bowl, that is, all the dirt that was on his hand after holding the money or something else is starter in my bowl. When I asked to replace the plastic bowl, the man said that he did not understand what I was telling him, that is, he refused to change this bowl for a clean one. Hygiene = 0. I do not recommend eating in this establishment. Dangerous for your health. 14.09.23. Hello, today I received your completely false response. According to your answer, sir, you are dishonest, because I put my four fingers in the big jar with the bon-bons, without touching them, to show you what you did with your fingers in my bowl-plate and I I asked for the tenth time to change this plastic bowl-plate, to which you refused. In short, I will do as much "advertising" as possible for your bacteria kiosk.

Quite shame that a restaurant only provide microwaved food. Not recommend at all.

“EXORBITANT” prices and poor quality. I paid 13frs for a portion of dry and tasteless rice, how sad! Little Persia forever.

Certainly the dishes are all desirable (and are very good) BUT nothing justifies the prices which, in my opinion, are largely exaggerated (especially for veggie dishes based on eggs: 9.- a slice in Take away at Avenue de the train station ). Damage!

Not sure if the chef is aware of Iranian food, I have, since I travelled to Iran several times. I am not sure if the chef is aware of the properties and use of salt, spices and various condiments that make Iranian food one of my favourite. What is sure is that the food I tried to eat was even worse than school lunch.

What a great discovery during my visit to Lausanne. Iranian cuisine is full of flavors and aromas. The menu is very varied and the staff provides very good advice. The restaurant also offers pretty little decorative items for sale.

Very nice presentation. A very friendly place and we are very well served. I tasted the famous saffron ice cream, it is really excellent, even delicious. Just had lunch with my guest but it was a disappointing experience. My point of view, the food quality is not satisfying at all, even looks not too fresh! On the menu several items especially Kebab are missing, what are expected to be included in a Persian restaurant's menu! I had a much better experiences in other resto in the same city with a same price. The only pros for me that deserve this single star are staff's politeness and kindness.

One of Lausanne's halal eateries. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. The service was superb too. I ordered Loubia polo beef and mint green tea. That was not great but just ok. The beef shredded pieces were mixed in the rice, I thought the beef was served separately with some gravy but I was wrong. I think Loubia polo is a traditional Iranian/Persian dish and you eat it with yogurt and fresh cucumber slices. It's unique to me, however I felt that the rice was quite dry because they put rice on display at the counter and reheat them. Overall, nice ambience, good customer service and I would come again to try other dish.

Never had Iranian cuisine but the food here are very tasty. It is been microwaved but did not hinder the tastiness and the quality of food. Rich in flavour and you could also ask for half portion! will come back again! Good to order a few diff things so can share🤩

Very warm atmosphere, I was transported to Iran. Excellent cuisine, you feel that it is homemade with a lot of love. Truly a superb discovery, a true hidden gem of restaurants in Lausanne. When in season, I highly recommend fresh pomegranate juice; he is excellent 😍😍

The food tastes so original , it made me feel home. i tried three different dishes during my short stay at Lausanne , and all were as good as my mom's dishes ;). Its worth to mention the friendly service from young Iranian waitress there. if you want to enjoy the original taste of Persian cuisine , here is the right place .

We had the tasting dish with the meat! It simply had a fiesta of flavors in our mouths and the rice was separated very well! We couldn't finish the portions, they were very big. Very friendly service 👉I highly recommend.

Ordered delivery. The meat was dry (just lots of sauce on it) and the piece of lebanese bread was in the bag from grocery store. Prices were ok, but food was poor and presentation/care was lacking. Have been to several other Persian restaurants and normally food and service is excellent. Just saw reviews about microwaved food, which explains the dry dishes (should have checked better before order).

Simply delicious, tasty, a great taste to come back, lamb, beef, veal, tender as can be, the rice, a killer, the chicken I don't even talk about it. The different yogurt sauces, to get you up at night. Very generous portions. My mother's life, go for it with your eyes closed. To recommend to all those around you.

Ordered to go when the place opened few months back. Service was kind and fast but I was disappointed by the food taste. It didn’t taste as good as other Iranian places I’ve tried in the past or abroad.

Nice presentation, but really no taste, the cuisine is very bland, too bad! A small pot of tea with 2 cups, charged 8 francs. 2 starters + a main course = 60 Frs. The quality of cooking is not worth this price. It's more of a fast food take away.

Very helpful staff but nothing exceptional in terms of the food which is very bland and I have already eaten Iranian food so I have a point of comparison. In addition, the prices are excessive given the simplicity of the ingredients (saffron aside). You might as well go to a real Iranian restaurant and pay a little more.

Very poor service, not smiling or welcoming. Price too high for very mediocre dishes reheated in the microwave. I don't recommend it, there are better Iranians in Switzerland.

very disappointed with my visit to this caterer, all the dishes are reheated in the microwave and bland, none of them were prepared at the time the dish served in small quantities for a very very excessive price, a mini tuporwear of rice with a sauce for 28fr, it's a scam and not even a smile from the lady who collects it, no sympathy, besides it's again he asks her if I can have a little salad at that price since the rice sauce menu costs 28.- there is salad with it and this lady did not like that I made this remark to her which is completely normal in any case my friend and I will never come back to this place at these prices I prefer to go to a real restaurant with friendly waiters and waitresses

The restaurant is very pretty and friendly, great decor but we are a family of 4 and the dishes are very very expensive for the taste quality which is unfortunately not there. (Dish reheated in the microwave)

Very very nice discovery! A welcome like at home, everything was explained to us, it was very pleasant that the person took so much time for us. We chose a few starters and meat dishes, everything was very tasty, subtle flavors that all blend together wonderfully. For dessert we had pistachios with honey, it was delicate and delicious. I only have one thing to say: go for it!
