My favorite place to go to - there are always new flavors to be found, especially with their vegetarian dishes - a unique and wonderfull service no matter who waits you - a cosy ambiente and more than an amazing experience each and every time. The future of kitchen!

Chic trendy restaurant with lots of choices

It wasn't warm in the restaurant. And there was no choice on the menu. Don't come anymore.

Good atmosphere. Tasty food. Just the price is a little high. It's worth the visit, especially for the Chopp. Delicious!

Service was a disaster! waitress had an attitude from minute 1, then she pushed down my handbag by walking super close in an empty place, it was difficult to think she didn't do it in purpose. She broke a small bottle of fancy champaign I had inside and when we told her she didn't apologize and told us she needed the table free in 20 minutes. Just save your money and go somewhere else like Babu´s or Café & Conditorei those are cute and people actually greet you with a smile! also the place is average and choices limited. Flat out sad

Only one star because there is no other option, preferably none. Went here to have a hot chocolate, which doesn't seem possible in this restaurant, it wasn't even lukewarm and when we complained about it, the answer was pretty blunt. For the high price you pay, you expect good service and a hot chocolate that deserves the name, definitely not a recommendation for us, and the waitress didn't even come to our table to take the order

Tavolata: Price-performance is not right. Too few, bland dishes or mismatched spices. Meat not well fried. Staff is nice but untrained. The shabby look of the restaurant is not pleasing and does not create any ambience. Conclusion: Want to make a lot of money with little effort (Tavolata).

Decent coffee and nice cake but some reason they kick you out after an hour because they need the table even though the restaurant is empty.

Had coffee and cake for afternoon tea with my family there. It is a place with rustic design but really excellent cakes, drink choices and services.

Sweet restaurant in Zurich. The menu offers a limited but sufficient selection of main courses. The style of pizza is really good. However, there are many delicious cakes. These are really good and are the big highlight of this restaurant. The prices are normal for Zurich.

I didn't feel comfortable with the unsympathetic boss

Service was very slow, the Asian waitress was not helpful with the menu. The restaurants atmosphere is average, I kept thinking I should've gone across the street.

My husband and I shared 700g flank steak with 2 side dishes. It was delicious, tender, and filling. Quick walk from the main station. Staff was friendly, polite, and very welcoming. Indoor and outdoor tables. Highly recommended for small and large groups. Great for sharing.

Nice little bar for an in-between stop beer or cake or both

Great food (Tavolata was great!) and great service. Not for the last time there!

Terrible service, with lots of free tables and they made us wait for 10 minutes to wait for a table that still had people eating and when asked why we decided not to wait and leave the horrible waiter told us there where plenty of other caffes that we could go. With such nice staff I am pretty sure their bussiness will have plenty of sucess without any customers.

Today the five of us visited the Lotti restaurant. The price of the food was rather high, but otherwise okay. However, the service left a lot to be desired - unfriendly and not very accommodating. Due to one person not being able to come to eat, we were charged a fee of 20.-. I will not visit this restaurant again!

Very poor service Asked twice the menu without any feedback After a while a new waiter came apologizing for the previous girl (completely helpless). Price very expensive for a tiny Flammkuchen (French-style “pizza”). 16 francs Coming back? With this kind of service no!

I like to go to restaurants often. I can't really think of any place in Zurich where you can eat as good and friendly as Lotti's. And that without ruining yourself financially. It's an honest shop through and through where people make the effort to cook everything themselves.

Typical local Swiss food. It was good.

There were 28 of us and we went to Lotti for lunch. I would like to share a few experiences: - Everyone could order à la carte from the lunch menu, which is of course particularly great for a group - the water à discretion offer for CHF 3 per person was ideal for us - we were able to eat for a fee - all lunch menus were very well received. Great selection of vegetarian dishes. Only where meat is explicitly mentioned is meat included. - the service was extremely friendly and quick - unbelievable that the service knew who ordered what when the plates came. There is a deduction for the volume in the restaurant. It was very loud at lunchtime.

Yesterday, Saturday, at 10 p.m. after a ballet evening we went to Lotti for a nightcap with friends who had to get on the train at 11 p.m. According to the website, the Lotti is open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays. That would have been great, but when we arrived they were closing due to not enough customers. We were able to talk to the employee and tried to convince him not to close, but no chance. This has never happened to me before. He was nice (as always, that's why I really appreciate Lotti), but I didn't think that was okay.

the place has a great atmosphere, I like the retro style. It's an easy go place though have a relaxing Apéro. Next time I try lunch or dinner there.

Flew into Zurich and about to take a train out. Wanted to grab a good local lunch. This is the spot. Short walk from the station. Food is fantastic. Service is great. Highly recommend!

All around relaxed, tasty, cozy. Seasonal products and regional ingredients. Plus friendly and visibly satisfied employees.

We really enjoy meeting here for lunch. Until now always with reservation. No matter trout, southern meat, goulash or cauliflower with mushrooms, everything is excellent. I can only recommend.

Food tasty and fresh. Unfortunately the serving girls are extremely arrogant, unfriendly and very slow - they urgently need improvement! The Asian server held a knife in front of my head until I had to tell her to stop... We were a group of 8 guests, but we only got tables for 6 people and barely had room for the tavolatas. The restaurant wanted to save money and instead of offering us the 4th table, they seated other guests there. There are 2 guests per table in Lotti. We were 8 guests at 6 tables instead of 4, even though we had a reservation in advance. We were addressed very arrogantly on a first-name basis, even though I said explicitly and clearly that I didn't want to be used on a first-name basis by strangers. I communicated politely via you, but unfortunately the serving girls called me with an arrogant tone the whole time...

Unfortunately, unfriendly staff, even if this is supposed to be the new mood among restaurateurs in downtown Zurich, we don't think it's ok. The restaurant has communication deficiencies and they won't just go away. The food is OK, but not great for the prices. The coffee and cake would be great, but as such a guest you are welcome to a limited extent or not at all You want menu customers and you communicate this in a very specific tone by email and verbally. You hide behind processes and emails and see the customer as a commodity who has to stick to your fixed rules. If something doesn't suit management, in particular, the request will be ignored (or so I was told) because they wouldn't want to do it. A rough text also comes back. That's not an advantage. Unfortunately, it is no longer recommended (especially because of the unfriendly boss, who seems to dislike her customers). A pity. Good location, ok food, bad staff. If you look on Tripadvisor, there is often the same feedback, but according to information given to us, the problem lies with the customers, not with the restaurant. I wonder whether it makes sense to ignore the same criticism that keeps coming back. But it is and remains that it has become an unfriendly place.

Shady spot in the middle of the city. Sipping an A-free, slightly (too) bitter aperitif composition on rickety garden chairs. Quite ok.

Had a sausage, which was good. The server was exceptionally helpful.

We had a very good Tavolata, attentive, competent service and at a fair price. Only the quite loud background was a bit tiring, but still ok.

My girlfriend and I have been here multiple times and we love it. The food is always great and never disappointed. The staff is attentive and super courteous. And we think the prices are also very fair for what you get. Will come again soon™.

Terrible service. Unfriendly and rude to a level I don’t think I ever experienced before. Will never come back.

I received a pizza (Züriflade) that was pitch black at the bottom. When I asked the waitress for a version less burned, she told me that the pizza was fine, but as I insisted, she replaced it. Meanwhile I had a big salad, so at the end of our meal, I had a few bites of my replacement pizza left. By the time we wanted to order tea and dessert, the manager came to our table and told me in a passive aggressive way that I should have finished my plate. Yes. He told me that I. should. have. finished. my. plate. That I am contributing to food waste. That, because of me, they had to throw away 1.5 pizza, which was a lot of food waste on my record. In a state of shock, we decided to have our dessert somewhere else. If you want to eat at a place where you decide what and how much you eat, and they are not analyzing your plate afterwards, go somewhere else. On the note of food waste: I care for food, I care for waste. I made vegetarian choices that evening. If the environment is such a hot topic for this place, and they hire a food activist to run it, I would suggest they reconsider their meat-options on the menu. But if I am not comfortable with eating black fried food, or I simply had enough, that is my right. This restaurant made that argument debatable.

We were there to watch the children sing Christmas songs in the square.

Attentive and super friendly staff

The food was: local, fresh, sustainable and tasty, every single dish is a composition that is prepared with a lot of passion, you can feel that in every single bite. The concept of Lotti is simple: enjoyment should be shared, like Swiss-style tapas. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was forward-looking and attentive. We'd love to come back!

A total surprise, such a restaurant in the middle of Bahnhofstrasse. The food, rustic, everything fresh and super aromatic, a dream.

We didn't eat any savory dishes but shared 4 slices of succulent cakes with delicious hot drinks with friends, including a chai latte with oat milk! The setting is very original and the decor is great! An address not to be missed !

Lottie has lovely coffee and they have lovely cakes. The restaurant is beautiful with outdoor seating. Sunbul Ordinary, near Brands Street. I liked the waitress, Maryam. The staff is very respectful. Very friendly. Requested. Steak but I didn't like it. A lot, but the Kufi is kind enough to give. Four stars, thanks

Great cafe in an excellent location

The experience was fine. The service was a bit slow and the food came slightly colder than expected. A okay dinner place to just try.

I was here recently with a friend and unfortunately we weren't completely impressed. The selection is nice, but we were missing that certain something extra in all of the dishes. It was solid cuisine, but there are better alternatives in Zurich. Especially at these prices for small portions.

Restaurant and cafe with character. We were amazed at what kind of story there was behind it... Would it be another idea to market it like that? :) The coffee and ice tea was exactly what we were looking for.

Centrally located restaurant in the heart of Zurich. Very friendly service. Very unusual card. Thanks to the fact that there were four of us, we were able to try out a lot of things on the menu, shared everything and what can I say, we enjoyed everything. We all had special cuts of beef, which was the only thing that didn't convince us too much - unfortunately. But without exception, all starters and sides were a welcome and perfectly executed surprise compared to the sometimes rather monotonous selection of the restaurant landscape in Zurich. We had two bottles of a red wine from Portugal, which was very good. All in all very satisfied, we will definitely and happily come back - thank you 🤩

I just had a coffee there. Expresso on ice with milk, tasty and beautiful. The terrace is nice, the bar is appealing with the many bottles, they probably know how to do cocktails!

Food good but too pricy. Saff not hospitable and long waiting times (also for things like bread). Kitchen closed at Sat 21:00 and restaurant at 22:00 (23:00 according google entry) Overall we did not have a cozy and relaxed time and paid too much for an average place - would not go again.

Restaurang is easily accessible for anybody from Bahnhofstrasse. The personnel was very nice and welcoming. The menu works so that you choose a number of smaller items that compliments the bio meat. Well the things very well done and tasty. The meat was made exactly as we asked for, medium. In general. General, I am not a meat eater anymore, but I have to say I enjoyed it this time. The wine we chose was simply excellent. I could think of returning here for another evening. I can't recommend this restaurant. If you are in the vicinity. It is worth the time.

Traditional authentic restaurant & Bar located @ Werdemühleplatz in Zürich. Friendly staff, recommended for a casual get together with friends or working colleagues for Lunch. Nice and delicious selection of cakes and pastries. Daily different lunch menu and small dishes. Spacious Interior and exterior seating,recommended to book reservations during peak times

The LOTTI no longer seems to be an insider tip and a reservation is mandatory, at least for lunch. The prices for lunch menus (with salad) are not overpriced and the quality of the food is excellent (kudos to the kitchen). However, if I'm very hungry, I would choose another restaurant. But for a business lunch where you don't want to struggle with tiredness in the afternoon, it's perfect. Also to be praised is the quality of the service staff, competent, friendly and well trained; in short TOP. The espresso also has a great crema and there is nothing wrong with the taste.

Very disappointed ! I am a good customer, but today I was treated very cheekily, a tall, dark-haired woman about 180 cm. I told her that unfortunately the last time I was served by an Asian woman was not so friendly, as if I was unwanted! She then told me “racist expressions are not allowed here.” I don't understand what's racist about it? I had to describe who was unfriendly! I told her it had nothing to do with racism! Then she ran away and said nothing more! Instead of taking this honest complaint seriously, are you as a customer treated cheekily and disrespectfully and attacked? I will never enter this restaurant again! A large part of the staff is nice! But not all !

Great bar, not very distinctive. Good place to have a drink. The beer selection is a bit disappointing and some drinks are expensive even by Swiss standards. There is a wide range of spirits. The bar staff are nice. Unfortunately, you will not necessarily be helped quickly if you sit at the bar

Cozy, uncomplicated atmosphere, very friendly staff, small and imaginative menu, fine food made from fresh ingredients. And the prices are right too. Definitely recommended.
