What must I say, go and see the top of the restaurant

A good Italian restaurant if you are hungry and want to eat quickly. The pizza was good but very thin and the lasagna was cold in the middle, we had to ask for them to reheat it...!

Service was amazing! Carbonara was the best I’ve had. The shrimp linguine with cream was a 4/5 and tiramisu 3.5/5.

Was in Lucerne for a Vacation with my wife and was looking for a place to eat. We chanced upon Made in Sud online and decided to give it a shot, we did not regret that decision. We went in without reservation and was given a pleasant small cozy seat while being served the menu. We went fot the Cabonara and Pizza. The food was exeptionally great and the service were even better. Do give it a try if you happen to be in Lucerne, you won't regret it!

We went early in the evening and didn't get a reply to the booking enquiry via email. We were told we should have phoned (but the email told us we'd get a reply in a few minutes, so...) Anyhow, they managed to accommodate two of us by pulling out a table from a larger group of tables and told us we had an hour to an hour and a half, which was fine. I had pizza and my wife had salmon and roast potatoes. The food was excellent, but the service left us feeling a bit like we were an inconvenience. We appreciated being given a table having not had a booking confirmation, however. It was chaotically busy. Some people may like such an intense atmosphere, but for us it was a bit too busy and we were right in the main area where everyone passed by our table to get anywhere. Cannot fault the food at all though. Was a bit expensive, but not too bad for Switzerland.

A beautiful and small restaurant in the middle of Lucerne. I've eaten here a few times and every time it's simply a pleasure. The authentic dishes, the service and the atmosphere were simply great. The prices are fair and the portions are large. If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant with great and authentic dishes, HERE is the right place! See you next time.

I went there with a friend for dinner during the week. Since my dog ​​had eaten something poisonous the night before, I didn't want to leave him home alone. I called the restaurant and asked if I could take him with me and if I could get a quiet seat. The employee asked about the size and I said that the dog is a German Shepherd and is big. The employee said it was fine as there was enough space in the back of the restaurant that evening. When we arrived, we were led to our table in the far corner of the restaurant by the boss himself (I didn't know). He then asked several times whether I had asked if I could bring the dog and that it is only allowed to bring large dogs in summer (terrace). That was very unpleasant. Luckily we were soon served by a friendly service employee. He was always friendly. Since I was satisfied with the service staff and the food, I sent feedback via email and refrained from writing a review. The boss's answer also came soon. He thanked us in a somewhat friendly manner for the feedback, but then wrote a long text about why he didn't want dogs in the restaurant and that customers often misjudge the size of their dogs. In my opinion, a very unprofessional and unfriendly way of saying that it was probably a misunderstanding and that he just doesn't want big dogs in the restaurant. My first ever really negative experience of going to a restaurant with a dog. Since there are enough better and more dog-friendly restaurants, I will definitely not visit this restaurant again and will not recommend the restaurant to others.

Molto bene! Lovely italian restaurant, we arrived before the dinner rush and were able to be seated however all tables were reserved, so a reservation would be essential during dinner times. The arancini was amazing, so tasty and moist, 1 large ball (shared), picture is only a small portion. Salmon pasta & red sauce gnocci was also delicious, great serving size and super tasty.

Good morning! My friends and I had dinner at this restaurant twice during our stay in Lucerne. In our country, Brazil, Italian food is very popular and we were delighted with the dishes we tasted at dinner there. Excellent pizza and lasagne. Tiramisu is super. Highly recommended.

The spaghetti was very tasty, but the salmon was very tasteless. We were satisfied with the service, although I don't understand why he puts the lemon in the glass of water for the guest by hand at the table, and he even licked his finger afterwards.

Very tasty pizzas 🍕😋 Particularly inexpensive at lunchtime with a salad as part of the menu. It's worth making a reservation. Staff is prepared and attentive. Happy to come back 👍

Wonderful evening at Made in Sud We recently visited the Made in Sud restaurant to enjoy Lucifero's delicious pizza on site. The staff were exceptional, especially on a busy Wednesday evening. Despite it being full, we managed to get a table without any problem, which is really appreciated. The atmosphere was extremely cozy and inviting. The quality of the pizza exceeded our expectations and the service was excellent. I would particularly like to highlight the flexibility of the staff to give us a place even without a reservation. However, if you have the opportunity, I recommend making a reservation to ensure you can enjoy your evening stress-free. Overall it was a wonderful evening and I look forward to visiting Made in Sud again soon.

Good Italian food with an authentic atmosphere. We were recommended the Pasta Frutti di Mare, which I tried straight away and I wasn't disappointed. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

Delicious food. Parmigiana was delicious. The waitress sold it as lasagne with top gin ;-) but it was very good. Very prompt and friendly.

This place is simply TOP! I've been there several times for lunch and dinner and, firstly, everything was always delicious and fresh! The staff, as well as of course Mardo, who I know well, are so friendly and funny/upbeat! A service that is really impressive! It was a pleasure! :)

Reserved, but still no space... that can't happen. It's not every day that you experience an overbooked restaurant.

Located on a busy road, the Made de Sud doesn't exactly exude a Mediterranean atmosphere. Nevertheless, you can visit the restaurant with a clear conscience and usually won't be disappointed. The price-performance ratio is appealing. The quality of the food is mostly good and the service does what it is supposed to do.

The food was really great especially pizza’s! apart Spaghetti Vongole which was insanely bad by all the means. But I just can’t give them 5* and let me explain you why.. this restaurant (if we can call it like that) is far away from Family friendly place. we were 3 people with a small child. We have ordered salads for starters and for the child we took pizza. I explicitly told them to bring the pizza with salads at the same time, as also i have mentioned that the child will eat pizza.. we got salads and no pizza. I mean thanks god that our child was polite and didn’t make the scene, even though she was starving.. we got the pizza with rest of our mains in the next 40min.. the most frustrating point was that they kept bringing food for the tables that came much later than we did. Not even to mention how spaghetti alla vongole situation was held - the owner ( i guess?) asked what was wrong with it, as I tried just few bites and had to leave full plate. I explained him really politely and I didn’t complain, I genuinely admired the good pizzas, but what the guy said was “ oh, this one is one of our most popular dishes, i don’t know why you didn’t like it, everybody likes it” dafuq? How arrogant can one be? Of course we were charged for the pasta and this person didn’t even properly said goodbye or apologized? This review is just for improvements. Best regards.

Good Italian also with dishes apart from pizza and pasta. Mellazane Parmigiano as an example. But the pizzas and pasta are also great. No pizza base from the gastrogross retailer in a multipack that is available. Good mozerella and nice pasta. Really nice, solid kitchen, inexpensive.

The spaghetti is nice but slightly too salty for me and the price is reasonable with a good atmosphere. The place is full of customers. The portion is more than enough for me. They provide a great variety of spaghetti dishes so I think you must be able to find the right one that you like.

Best Italian food we had in Lucerne. Would definitely go back. Not much atmosphere inside and outside patio has view of power lines but OMG, the food!! Nice service, great prices, huge portions. Service takes a while compared to USA, so sit back and relax.

Delicious pizza and an attractive lunch menu

Split the pizza italia - it had a lovely tangy mozzarella and buffalo mozzarella with a lovely crispy crust. Really tasty!

Friendly service, pizza tasted excellent, but it took a long time to serve the food, the ambience should be adapted to good food (plastic chairs). Because of the street noise, a plant hedge might make sense. Hence four stars

I feel that Made in Did us very close to being a stand-out Italian restaurant, but it is not there yet. Although the excellent tomato soup was a brilliant start, the rest of the dishes did not go up to its high standards. The pastas were well-cooked and tasty, but little differentiated the two dishes we ordered, and neither was exceptional. The pizzas were similarly solid, with.a good balance between cheese and tomato sauce, but with a not harder crust than we are used to in Italian pizzas. Overall, I recommend the restaurant, but hip that it manages to climb a tier to the excellent place I think it can be.

Pizza was okay, squid with no taste, no recommendation, green salad without decoration, boring as hell.

Perfect service and a really nice place to celebrate a birthday or whatever you want to celebrate, because it has another salon where you can be completely alone!

I went to this restaurant in April 2023. The setting is surprising and is not really attractive from the outside. It is a former car garage converted into a restaurant. But make no mistake, the Italian cuisine presented is excellent. The choice is difficult among all the dishes on the menu offered. The staff is pleasant and warm. I recommend it for your next getaways to Lucerne!

We ordered one margarita and one 4 fromages for take away (€36.50 for both) by phone. The order was ready in time and pizzas 🍕 were delicious. We packed our 🚗 behind the restaurant while taking our order away.

A restaurant that we visited the first day we arrived in Lucerne and decided to come back the following day!! The food was amazing, it made us come back on our day 2 in Lucerne. My family loved all the dishes we ordered (pizza, pasta, etc) A place to try while in Lucerne!!

After receiving the Drinks 35 minutes before ordering food. Ordered 4 meals. 1 meal was completely over salted. For the second dish, Trancio Di Salmone con spinachi, the preparation was forgotten and the spinach was simply placed raw in the plate, without salt or spices. Absolutely no go. Last time there a few months ago. Everything was much better back then. Currently definitely on the decline. More care is needed again, otherwise people will stop coming at some point. That would be a shame; was such a great restaurant.

Pizzas and lasagna was made fresh. Family enjoyed it thoroughly. Each dish was between $20-$25. Price is reasonable compared to other restaurants that are a bit more.

The truffle ravioli is just perfect. I also had the beef tartare which was very flavorful and served as a nice complement and texture differential to the wonderfully toasted bread.

Simple location, but very central. Spacious terrace. Fine pizzas. Red and white wine could definitely be chilled a little more in these hot summer temperatures. Recommended, would love to come back!

Very Good ! we came based on recomendations and found it as expected. Ordered lazanya wich came as a big dish, also ordered cheese revioly with spinach which came also as a good dish ordered beer & fanta and as a desert had a great Tiramisu cake which was fantastic. Food was good, service was fast & friendly Overall a good italian resturant that is recomended.

My husband and I just shared a delicious pizza with ham, olives, and artichokes. Plenty for two people along with a delicious draft beer! There was not a morsel left on our tray. Not even a tiny bit of crust. The best value in all of Lucerne! I highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant, the pizza is very good even though it was take away, very well leavened and well cooked we took 3 margherite ones, the lady at the cash register is very kind and professional compliments to the pizza chef definitely the flour is from Caputo because the flavor is fantastic, a 🍕 well made, difficult to find in Lucerne I can guarantee it since I had a pizzeria in Kriens.

The food was very tasty. Very good, authentic Italian cuisine. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the ambience. If you look at the website beforehand, you get the impression of a stylish, cozy restaurant with a nice, quiet outdoor area in a courtyard. Instead, you sit outside right on the loud main street and the Innebreich has more of an old diner feel to it, stuffy and warm. The service is inattentive and cold. The chef deserves better. The only thing we would do here is to get something to take away.

The pizza I ate there was really tasty. The dough was as it should be and the topping (grilled vegetables and capers, vegan) was perfect. The service was extremely friendly and the food came to the table quickly despite the large number of guests. We'd love to come back.
