Manta Bar in Wallisellen

A great place to take a break between shopping, but was very disappointed that Manta Bar couldn't offer me a plant-based milk alternative (neither oat milk nor soy milk). Prices very high in my opinion.

Very bad cake, already dried out and inedible! Not recommended!

Very arrogant service. Had to pay in advance and not at the table. I think that's an absolute disgrace and I won't recommend it.

Great panini/café bar with cheerful and attentive service and mega-fine focacce/ciabatte/pide/... The best butter croissants far and wide together with an aromatic espresso simply tastes wonderful. I always enjoy coming here and can only recommend it.

Fine cappuccino at the right temperature. To all Starbucks philistines: No, coffee doesn't have to be so hot that you burn your mouth. Drinking warm is perfect for the taste.

The boss's behavior in the bar in Glatt Zentrum is a NO GO. I had to pay in advance otherwise I wouldn't be served!! I hope he reads it and thinks about whether he still gets customers in Wallisellen and also in Winterthur!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!!! Only because of boss's behavior!!!!!!

Per: - Very centrally located in Glatt - Staff were friendly - take away - frappe very tasty, coffee was good too - Prices okay Cons: - long waiting time for invoice - Employees could be more attentive Went here for coffee because we had something to do. Luckily we immediately found a spot at the bar. And we were served almost immediately, the employees were very friendly. We had a latte macchiato and a strawberry frappe. The coffee was good and the frappe was very tasty. I can only recommend. Next to the café there is also a take away counter where you can buy sandwiches and the like. The Mantabar is centrally located in the Glatt, so you have a beautiful all-round view. Prices were completely okay. It was just a shame that we had to wait a long time for the bill, also because we weren't paid much attention to after the first order. Employees could be more attentive in this regard. We would definitely have ordered something else if we had had the chance or been asked. So it remained with 2 drinks and then the bill.

There was very unfriendly service on site today. I asked her about chocolate with my coffee, then she suggested something on the counter. I asked her if it was really chocolate and she said yes and said it was chocolate. When I opened it she immediately said; she wanted to drink it straight away with the coffee. I told her it wasn't chocolate. It is simply a sponge cake with a fatty cream. Her answer: after all, I have 20 years of experience 🙈she was simply arrogant and ignorant. Sorry, but I definitely won't come here anymore.

Very friendly staff, good coffee and sandwiches. It's a shame the Manta Bar on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich no longer exists; Cervelat celebrities and top bankers sometimes also frequented there.

A small, cozy coffee shop in the middle of the Glattzentrum. Friendly conditions and great coffee. Mantabar is known for its sandwiches. These are the best sandwiches around. Very fine bread and well topped. You can have it warm or cold. There are also veggie versions. Can only be recommended.

I was greeted very friendly by an employee and she recommended the different types of white wine. The service was very quick and courteous. The employees are friendly and attentive. I was also offered “salt nuts” with my drink. After a few visits to the restaurant, I can only highly recommend it. I hope the employees remain so friendly and well-positioned so that you as a guest can feel comfortable.

Actually it's always okay, but today at lunchtime the staff only had an eye for Thake Away, so they had a café somewhere else, a shame, otherwise always very good.

My favorite sandwich here. If you like eggplant with roast beef combination, try it!!!! It’s sooooo delicious with special crispy bread! Tips: Aak for making warm the sandwich in the oven! 👍 Service: super kind. Place: easy to have a coffee, comfortable.

Their sandwiches are fresh and fantastic! Ordered the Rosti Chicken and Eggplant Mozzarella sandwiches and both were exceptional especially considering they were pre-made.

Very friendly and courteous service, the only point of criticism: a Negroni is served in a tumbler and not in a long drink glass.

For short time breaks...nice sitting places ... (offers little as well as big sandwiches and good coffees) usually very frendly service....have even "gazosa" specialities branded "la fiorenzana" one of the very first brands ..produced in Grono since 1921 (tale of misox..italian speaking part of "Graubünden" canton (county)....try a cold 'mandarino' or a 'bergamotto' taste..sweet ...but very very special...

Friendly staff, super good warm sandwiches. Before we go shopping there is always a stop at the Manta Bar. What would be nice if dog owners didn't put their animals on the seat cushions. In my opinion, animals don't belong at the table. Maybe the staff pays a little more attention. 😉

The entire staff is always friendly to all guests. Dogs are also very welcome. Perfect for my Chihuahua girlfriend. For me that is friendliness towards the guest.
