Manu Gelato in Nyon

extraordinary ice cream! delicious

A rather disappointing visit this evening, my wife and I were driving from Geneva for a usual ice cream in Manu Nyon, arrived 3 minutes before the closure, but were refused entry by the staff - who stated that the clients before us were the last... A must go ice cream place in Nyon turned out to be a no-go place for us... Anyway, best of luck.

What a shame: the ice creams are very good but the person who served us did not have an easy smile and was not friendly at all. We quickly understood why there was a line at Venezia and not at Manu Gelato

Rather disappointed with Manu Gelato this year. There are fewer flavors to choose from and the very sweet raspberry sorbet doesn't have much taste. It was average.

Difficult to give a really positive rating if I have to compare with GelatoMania for example. I tried hazelnut and pistachio, simple ice creams to make, and I wasn't impressed. For the price, there are better. Sorry for the comment but to raise the quality you have to pay for it

This place has the best ice cream. A worker named Jessica served us and she was the nicest person ever! Jessica let us try flavors to see what they taste like. I ended up getting strawberry ice cream with mango ice cream and it tasted like heaven. This place is definitely 5 stars! I really recommend Manu Gelato! Thank you Jessica.😄

We have been fans since you opened in Nyon, but I find that this year the quality has dropped considerably. We all pay the same price for the same size of ice cream, but the quantity we receive varies greatly depending on who serves us. Some walk out of the store with two scoops and a small sample for tasting, and others walk out with two scoops that are almost half the amount of ice cream of the others. The same goes for takeaways. For example, we bought two 1000ml ice creams for a family gathering and both weighed less than 900g including packaging. Given the increasing price of ice cream and the inconsistency of the experience, we started avoiding this place. P.S. The Magnum Pistachio scent you offered last year was a real favorite for all of us, perhaps you could consider making it a permanent addition.

The best ice cream in Nyon, but what I wanted to say is that today (April 2 around 1 p.m.) the service was very, very good, I don't know the name of the girl who served us but she was very professional and kind, a big plus to go back, it's not common to have such good service, so thank you!

Without doubt among the best Italian ice creams in French-speaking Switzerland. A gourmet brand that has succulent ice creams. However, the wait is sometimes long. Be careful during rush hours.

Quantity and quality of perfumes offered reduced but price unchanged of course, otherwise it's no fun for the management of this ice cream parlor. Fortunately there is competition because Manu Gelato is no longer a very good ice cream parlor as it used to be 🤷‍♂️

I tasted the ricotta, meringue and raspberry flavor. I found it original and very good but unfortunately too sweet for my taste.

I can’t say it’s the best ice cream I have ever tried. It lacks some taste, but the girl behind counter was super nice, she offered us to try different flavors and the portion was huge. Next time I would go only for creamy ones rather then sorbets as they were as good as nutty flavors.

We made a direct comparison with a second ice cream seller on this street: vanilla and chocolate ice cream are absolutely recommended. Not that sweet, but really aromatic. Huge balls, almost a little over the top. Very very nice, thank you!

The best Italian ice cream in Nyon! Totally delicious and great choice

Usually I don't like to give bad comments, but last night with my girlfriend and her mother we were particularly disappointed. The flavors we chose (Nutella, Cassata and Speculos) were not good at all, neither in terms of taste nor for their texture (it looked like they had been prepared well in advance and defrosted). In addition, perhaps because we were spoiled by the competition, we found the quantity unsatisfactory. Another downside is the service. The lady who served us was rather unpleasant, perhaps we had a bad day. I hope this comment can serve as a wake-up call to improve things, especially since we remember the early days of Manu which was the best ice cream parlor in the region.

The best ice-cream place 👌 Portions are huge and many delicious varieties. Definitely my favourite brand for a few years now.

The ice creams are excellent at Manu! The perfumes are varied and original. Double blueberry gruyere cream, fig ricotta, lemon tart and the most classic of course. Staff always very pleasant. I recommend these artisanal ice creams without hesitation.

Dramatic Covid-19 hygiene! It is 8:41 p.m. on June 27, 2020, the waitress who offers exceptional ice cream, mixes the microbes from her cash register and grabs the waffle cones with both hands. Serious ! You just have to be unconscious in these times.

I love this place and usually I would give it 5*. But today I had my usual yogurt ... di bosco (there is another part to the name I can never remember). and it was terribly disappointing .. the texture was powdery, broken, with a very strong old milk/yogurt flavor... i kept trying it making sure it wasn't just my taste buds... but it tasted really bad. I told the lady at the counter that there was something wrong with the flavor, as I have it often to know what it is supposed to taste like. she tried it and told me that it was fine, nothing was wrong with it, and that maybe I didn't know that it tastes like this... I also saw her mixing all the flavors, which some looked very hard/icy, like they have been sitting there a while.. I hope they are not trying to sell old flavors now that its the end of summer. the lady didn't offer to replace my cone either, i had to throw it away as it was absolutely inedible. and for the price, i felt robbed... I've had many good experiences here, but this one really sucked...

Great ice cream with unusual flavours. The scubes are huge, so don't get afraid when u are the prices. I recommend the Coconut flavour, super nice with grinded real coconut.
