Mensa Universität Basel in Basel

Now I've tried it here half a dozen times. The price, very good. Service is also quite ok, you wouldn't expect the same. But I don't enjoy eating here, unfortunately. In terms of ambience, it's like in a cafeteria 🤷🏼‍♂️

The food was ok. It’s acceptable to eat sometimes, especially the price was affordable in Switzerland. Just check the menu online first before you go there in case there’s something which you don’t like. (Honestly, I don’t like the meals most of the time 😂)

Food is always good. The price-performance ratio is also very good. The Christmas decorations have already been put up.

It is a university mensa. It can't be too good, and it can't be that bad.

Great price/performance ratio. 7.50 for a menu as a student. You can even usually choose between national or international dishes and there is always a vegetarian option for the animal lovers. Also super nice and friendly staff there. I can only recommend it.

It was amazing! The staffs were warm and nice. The food was good too.

Cafeteria in the college building: Very unfriendly staff. Do not attach importance to sustainability and environmental protection. You're not even allowed to borrow cutlery for a depot; we were forced to go and get plastic cutlery from the autumn fair (it wasn't a problem there and we were treated with hospitality).

Several offers in different rooms. I ate very well and enough.

Delicious lunch, certainly affordable by Swiss standards. And we were also allowed to eat at student rates with our Dutch student cards.

You can eat on the terrace and they serve good dishes!

Probably the worst cafeteria in Switzerland. As a vegetarian you are clearly discriminated against here. Every other day there is pasta with sauce. Have you ever heard of vegetables as a side dish? It works with the meat menu too.

Good food at a seriously fair price.

University Mensa - daily 2 different menues (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) for 7.5CHF with a student card, 10CHF for employees and 12.5CHF for everyone else. Included in the price is also a soup or salad. Alternatively there is a buffet where the food is weighted. The quality of the food is so so.

Meh, I guess its ok for a Mensa catering students.

Mass catering. The food is fresh and OK, the staff is mostly friendly. The prices of two of the three menus are cheap with a student ID and acceptable with a university ID card. The third menu, on the other hand, is usually outrageously expensive. Not recommended without a student/identity card.
