Overall good. The other guests in my party had Zender (fish), which was better than what I ate. I had penne alla pesto, but it was dripping with oil and the penne was overcooked. We had focaccia de Parm as a starter, which was good. I'd give this place a try again though.

Very well served dish, easily enough for two people!

The food and drinks were all good, the staff was friendly. Vegetarian options are available and marked as vegetarian on the menu, but you have to inform that you want the vegetarian option, otherwise you will have meat on your plate. However, the staff did not inform you about this when you received the card. You also have to ask yourself about the price. Should it theoretically be cheaper without meat?

We stopped by this restaurant because it's highly rated on the Find Me Guten-free app and was not disappointed. My friend who can eat gluten had pasta which he said had the best sauce he's ever had. I had a gluten free pizza with goat cheese and ham. The goat cheese was a special addition and while it cost extra, the whole pizza was divine. It was the best gluten and cow milk free pizza I've ever had. As an English speaker, it was also very easy to communicate with my waitress. If I'm ever in Grindelwald again, I'll definitely stop by.

The food was good but the wait staff were incredibly rude. We felt unwelcomed and the atmosphere was uncomfortable as soon as we walked in.

We were staying in the Hotel Spinne and it was convenient and relaxing to eat on the terrace and enjoy the view of the mountains near sunset. The pizzas and salad were okay (3 stars). The environment is outstanding and the service was accommodating and friendly.

We were staying in grindelwald and wanted to stay local for dinner so came here. Overall found the selection to be plentiful for us, the service prompt and professional and the overall ambience and surrounding beautiful. The food was excellent and all freshly prepared. They were fully booked while we were eating dinner so we were glad we made it earlier without a reservation. Would definitely come back again.

good view..food is not too bad but the service is terrible.. rude and just not a care in the world..especially the dude w no hair.. it feels like being served by the terminator himself.. wont go back

It's a nice place and the pizzas we had were good. Only three stars though because the selection for special diets like gluten free and vegan are very limited.

Bad they hate Arabs ,rude staff & manager .-.An employee who does not respect Arabs came to us and saw Arabs. He calculated on the bill that we were asking for wine and the bar was making noises. The problem is that their manager is of no use. They hate Arabs in this restaurant!!

Very rude staff if I can give zero I would but unfortunately I cant due to google .You need to carefully check the bill ,they would add things you didn’t ask for .and if you told them that you didn’t order it they go insane and rude . Very baddddd

The staff is arrogant and rude....he didn't lay the table and was literally...banging the dishes as he was serving...as if doing a favor 🙄 and discriminate between the customer ...of different nationalities They charged extra 5Chf for sharing a dish....

One of our friends got food poisoning ! We were with a kid, and from our experience, i can assume thar this is one of the most non kid friendly places.. The waiter was rude, and our pasta was extremely salty, so we put it aside. We don't recommend this place.

Reserve a table if you want to eat on the terrace (amazing views)! Service and food were really great, we had dinner twice there. The mixta salad and the fiorentina pasta dish were so delicious!

Really amazing salad - better than the green salad that’s normal in Switzerland (croutons, pepitas, sprouts, etc). Really great and friendly service! Helpful, fast, efficient. Multi-lingual. Easy in English, happy in Swiss German/German, no issues with Italian. The main courses were also creative and interesting. Really a great place to eat, especially if you can get a table on the terrace, gazing at the Eiger. Really recommend!

The food is good but the service is very bad and unfriendly

The restaurant offers Italian and Swiss dishes. We ordered both and were not disappointed. The staff is friendly, has a good joke and has in-depth specialist knowledge. Price, performance is good. From my experience, the restaurant is almost permanently fully booked. Be sure to plan ahead.

Service was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the food I had (Spaghetti Carbonara) was only average at best.

Looking on Google maps, it was indicated that it was open. But from the street we had the impression that the place was closed. Luckily we entered through the main entrance of the Spinne Hotel and behind we saw people eating in the restaurant. Moreover, on the invoice it was marked Kaufmann Hotel AG Hotel Spinne. We ate the meat (Holzfäller & Lammfilets). The wine list is small but effective! We had a great evening.

We were hotel guests and had to have dinner there. The tables were only covered with a runner, even though they were worn and stained.

Came here with my dad. We were staying nearby for a few nights and were having trouble finding a restaurant that was still open as hours in Switzerland are quite different esp Sunday’s I believe. It was quite a wait for a table. Seems there was lots of customers for limited staff. Once we were served the service was pleasant but we didn’t see much of our server as a result. The seating was a bit different from what we are used to as well as you are seated on a row with other people at the same table set up. The food items were varied but Italian in nature. I believe we ate pizzas which were good, thinner crust and I think I had the margarita pizza. They had a stone oven for pizzas that you could see them cooking for you which adds to the experience. As everything in Switzerland it was pricey. But I would say the food was delicious. Not sure I would come back as there are many options to check out for local cuisine. They also have a hotel upstairs but we didn’t stay here.

It was delicious. For Japanese people, the portion size is large, and the taste is a bit salty. There were a lot of flies, probably because the chicken was being baked in the oven outside. Europeans and Americans seem to be fine with flies.

The trace is wondeeful with an incredible.view. the food is not that good unfortunately. The focaccia is Extreme dry and is impossibile to eat. The pizza is at best average.

Great pizza and service, and serving a full menu later in the evening than almost everywhere else in the area, which saved us from certain death by hunger when everywhere else was shutting down for the night. 😉

Horrible service. Patrick was our server and was rude from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. We requested the bill after refreshments (we were planning on ordering dinner) as he was that rude. Would not make the mistake of going there again.
