Great ambiance, authentic Turkish food, excellent service. They cooked a gluten free alternative for a side dish that I couldn’t share with my friend and did not charge us for this. Very thoughtful.

Thanks to Romain for his incredible welcome and his passion which took us into the true Turkish world! The cuisine was of course there! (All confirmed by a Turkish friend..)

Lunch for 4 We had several dishes from the menu. (Squid, beef fillet, koefte, chicken) Small portion compared to the price and the dishes are cold. The dishes are tasty. Friendly and attentive waitress.

A very nice bistro, inconspicuously hidden behind the large theaters, stylishly furnished, quiet atmosphere. The tables are a bit small, especially when all the food is served at the same time. Great selection of cold and warm mezzes to share (or not). Everything was very fresh, subtly seasoned (almost not enough). The Köftes were a bit hearty, but the fried pulpo was very tasty. Three rakis to choose from, but unfortunately no Turkish wine on the menu.

Great Turkish brasserie, the food was exquisite, prepared with fresh produce and varied flavors. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere very friendly too. I can only encourage you to go there, but I do so without restraint!

We came here with high expectations however the food was a big disappointment. For people who know Turkish cuisine the food is unfortunately below expectations as we did not enjoy a single dish (and we took a lot as we were a group of five) and the portions were very small. Service is good and the environment/design as well however ultimately a restaurant should be rated for their food

In addition to its excellent hot and cold dishes, it is a place that conquers hearts with its ambiance and the music in the background. Just when you are full, you will feel like you are in Turkey when you see the Turkish tea in the thin glass appearing on the horizon. I highly recommend: "Poulpe grillé"

We went with friends for birthday dinner. Good part is that they few items in menu card which could mean that food is fresh. We are happy to see that. Food quantities are bit small I felt for the price, food what we ordered is tasty. Waiters are really attentive and service is good. Menu could be enhanced and quantities. I felt a bit it is like fusion that authentic Turkish food that I ate in Turkey.

Without a doubt the best in Geneva.

Magnificent Turkish brasserie a stone's throw from the Parc des Bastions. The decoration is neat and you feel really good there. The service is attentive without being too oppressive. The dishes (for the vast majority, I recommend taking several to share) are very well cooked and very well presented on the plate. For a total of 104 CHF for two people, it is an experience to be had to discover refined Turkish dishes.

We had a fantastic time at Meyhanè Genève and will definitely be returning. All dishes were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, with beautiful decor and a warm ambiance. It is a true gem in Geneva dining scene and should not be missed. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and memorable dining experience.

This restaurant was an incredible find. The food was incredible, made fresh and full of flavor. The people who work here are kind, understanding (we were with a toddler) and just amazing. We absolutely loved the ambiance as well and the attention to detail not just in the food but also in the plates, utensils, napkins, every part of the experience. We loved to Kofte player as a main. We also loved the starters (bulgur and the spicy yogurt mix) and the Baklava. Even the naan they serve when you order was great. My husband commented that this meal was just as delicious as any we had in Turkey and even better. They're going to start a Sunday Turkish brunch soon and I wish I could be in Geneva for that as I know it'll be absolutely perfect. So glad we found this restaurant by chance.

Very fresh and high quality Turkish food. 3 of the 4 dishes were fantastic. From the cold dishes, we loved their bulgur dish and their roasted red pepper dish. From the hot dishes, the grilled calamari was good but not special but their kofte (which they’re known for) was fantastic. The service is also great here.

Every dish was brilliantly cooked and very perfect. We had grilled calamari, lamb, and entrecôte. All dishes were absolutely delicious. Service was also excellent, both the owner and the waiters were so warm, friendly, and down to earth. Highly recommend. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Geneva.

A high quality restaurant with elegantly-served classical Turkish mezzes. The service is so efficient and warm that even that alone makes you realise it's a truly Mediterranean restaurant. Yasemin, particularly, is a person who fully does justice to the profession of service: kind, problem-solving and understanding. The interior design has dim lighting, blue tones and features of meyhane's, it is a real treat if you're from the region. Cold dishes are all suitable for vegetarians. My only recommendation moving forward would be to include and indicate a few vegan options. Otherwise, chapeau à vous.

My best Geneva dining experiences by far! Excellent friendly well informed multilingual staff who are very accommodating. Quite a few authentic Turkish items on the menu which have actually been imported from Turkeye. The eclectic vibe of the dining space coupled with the flavour notes of the culinary foray dictates return dining. Looking forward to their evolved Spring/Summer offering!

It is the best Turkish restaurant in Geneva with authenc & delicious food, great ambiance and service.

This is one of the best spots outside Turkey that can serve really authentic Turkish / Greek mezze's and dishes. We've tried a lot. Cacıki was spot on! Shakshooka was really nice. Girit paste was made with roasted bell pepper, felt different but great (It's usually made with pistachio). You should definitely try the meatballs and lamb chops as well. Of course; please try all these with a glass of Turkish Rakı; or else you won't feel the spirit of mezzes. As a Turk, that's definitely my to-go please in CH for a nice, high quality dinner.

I attended to the restaurant with a bunch of friends and some of them asked octopus, which regarding my friends was not good. They told the waitress respectfully about it and after paying the bill the owner came with an intimidating attitude saying that some had been rude with the waitress, which was never the case. Poor experience…

The owner was very rude and aggressive with our group. Even if he has proof of his excuses, that behavior can NEVER be accepted in any restaurant (or any other place). He clearly was taking advantage of his age and position against a group of students that didn't misbehave or bother any other group at the restaurant. If they can't handle suggestions, they should really hire someone who can. I would NOT recommend eating here, I don't support the ethics of this place.

**THIS RESTAURANT ALLOWS DOGS INSIDE**🐕🐕🐕 We're in awe of the service we recieved from this restaurant! The owner is super kind and gave us the best service ever! We brought our dog but I was skeptical at first if she can enter with us because typical restaurant in Genève would say no, but not this place! The owner accepts dog inside with a warm welcoming! In terms of the food, keep it in mind that you'll have small portions, but the style is meant for you to share altogether. So you might need to order more than 1 plates/each person if you are many. We are 3 and ended up paying around 100€ with the food you see below + baklava desserts. I tasted one of the best food here!! We happened to see Mayhanè as we walked to our hotel, and decided to loop back for dinner. We arrived a bit early, and the staff took amazing care of us. The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. I definitely recommend the ‘gold raki’ to complement any of the dishes! We will be back when our travels bring us to Geneva in the future!

A real Turkish kitchen, unqiue as we call it the "Raki" table. With all the our turkish meze and main menu. People are very friendly, ambience simple, clean and modern. So happy to finally eat in a good Turkish restaurant, we call Meyhane, serving typical Turkish mezze/tapas. We were a group 12, tried all meze and loved them all as Turkish from Istanbul, Izmir and other cities with a very picky taste profile! The hot dishes are delicious, too, “Köfte” meatballs is my favorite! Baklava for dessert is the “golden shot” at the end! The decoration, music and food is a perfect example of Modern Meyhane taverns in Istanbul. This is the place to experience a different evening in Geneva, taking you to Türkiye with its taste and ambiance. Try Turkish Raki with the meze, they have a very good range of different brands. Congratulations to open up this place, representing Meyhane culture in Geneva!

Amazing various tastes, very good music and extremely nice staff!

Really nice atmosphere and great dishes! I especially loved the cold entrees. Everything tastes well and looks super healthy. The staff is really accommodating. There is some light background music chosen from old Turkish pop hits, easy on the ears. This restaurant is well worth a try. I'll be back for sure!
