The food was very good. They have indoor and outdoor seating. However, it is rather small. I like that it's so small. The service is friendly. That's why we get full marks :)

Small but fine restaurant in the heart of Basel

My favorite restaurant in Basel! The food is insanely good and the owners are friendly. I'd eat here every day if I could.

I'm a bit critical when it comes to vegetarian dishes, but I had no complaints with or without meat. I took my time with the review and didn't want to rate the restaurant until after the 3rd or 4th visit. The Ispanakli Börek (dumpling/"Turkish Calzone") with spinach and cheese with cacik were really particularly great. I've had it 3 times now and have never been disappointed. Sigara Börek with feta as a starter and even as a self-confessed carnivore I am completely satisfied. Service is very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. For me it's a balancing act, which the hosts mastered without any problems. Hats off.

We ordered mixed meze plate, shrimps with calypso sauce and Poulet bowl. It was very delicious for all three of us. The staff was friendly and had English menus. The only negative thing was that at the time we arrived there were too many people, the tea could have been stronger, and the food costs as much as most things in Switzerland. But the food was definitely worth the price.

One of the few places where we can eat . Well worth it

I had simple but refreshing and healthy desert, yogurt with honey and mint. Perfect blend of sweet and cold. And the owner/Walter was very frinedly, although he didn’t speek German, we managed to undestand.

Excellent, large falafel sandwich. Fresh ingredients including Hommos. Friendly staff. Nicely decorated little restaurant with outside seating. Comparatively affordable price: CHF 9.50. Card payment possible without any problems. But I don't really like the fact that he reaches into the salad with the same fingers that he uses to operate his cell phone (and probably also collect money).

I ordered a Dürüm with chicken. Very tasty and good portion. Not classic kebab meat but with normal meat but it tastes excellent. Worthwhile if you are in Basel and you should try it out

Really delicious food and good service💪🏽 What I really liked about the place was that when you ordered a dish you got different things on your plate when you ordered🤩 The place itself was also really cozy, where you could sit inside or outside😉 There were also many different options on the menu and there was an option for dessert😋 Their homemade ayran was also a hit🥛

Very tasty food, I'm always happy!

We recently moved to Basel from Australia and randomly ate here last night. We loved it so much that we went there again today. The main person who cooks, takes orders and serves people always has a smile on his face. I've had Pides in many countries (in Europe and Australia), the Pide we had here was by far the freshest and the best. We will definitely visit again.

I think, I’m not exaggerating if I say the food was one of the best I have ever eaten in restaurant. It looked amazing as well. The welcome was very friendly and the place was very clean too. If I’ll have a chance to come back to Basel again in the future, I’ll definitely visit this place again! Highly recommended! 😊

A fine little restaurant. I was there with friends and wanted to try something new. We had starters and main courses and were all very satisfied. The presentation, size and quality of the dishes were very good. At the end we were particularly pleased that the boss offered a raki - top service!
