Mira's Steakhouse in Lauterbrunnen

The food was still raw and we didn't get a menu and the conditions were really overwhelmed.

The food was really good, the service was subpar… Totally unfriendly/moody/brusque, we will NEVER go there again!!! Even if there are Lauberhorn races, you can't serve guests like that, that's not possible...

We were a party of four. All of us had different beef dishes and were very pleased. The open steak sandwich with a side salad and melon was very nice.

Very good, quality food!! Had veal steak, BUTTER Tender! For dessert, incredibly delicious Toblerone mousse! Service very friendly and accommodating! We will be very happy to come back :)

Arrived late into town and called at 930 they said they were going to close early but they would be happy to stay open. I had a steak sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was delicious, even the salad! I’ve been on vacation for two weeks, just arrived from Italy and this was by far the best food I’ve had.

Food was nice, however I don’t think value is as good here compared to other restaurants in the area.

I was in Wengen for the Marathon Weekend and had the pleasure of getting to know a wonderful restaurant. At Mira's Restaurant I was able to relax and eat wonderfully... Even though all the customers came together and the restaurant was full, the pretty waitress remained calm and kept her wonderful smile. You can have great food at Mira. Thanks to the chef and service...

We arrived early (before check-in) for a 3-day stay in Wengen. After storing our bags at the resort, we ventured out to explore the town and find lunch. We found Mira's just off the main street (if there's a main street). Maybe it's the magic of the Swiss Alps, but everything about this restaurant was great. From the picturesque setting, to the views from the patio, to the smells coming from the kitchen. Our server was very friendly and made excellent recommendations for both food and drink. The portions were very generous and just what we needed for a full day of exploring the area. If you staying in Wengen or just visiting for the day, I would definitely recommend giving Mira's a try!

We had the greatest experience. Our waiter was extremely humorous and made great recommendations for wine and our meals. The lamb was spectacular and the veal was prepared very well! Our kids had the burger and said it was the best burger they ever had. We finished it off with the mouse, which was fantastic. The was super good, but what made our evening the best was our waiter. He was a treat and fun to talk with.

The most AWFUL experience in Switzerland!!!!!!!! SO DISAPPOINTTING. Ruining our holiday!!!!!! The waiters are Asian haters and misogynists!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are deeply offended by foul language attacks on our female identities as well as Minorities. The waiter provided very awful service, offering us paid mineral water after we asked for free tap water. Besides, we were given change at the checkout at a bad exchange rate and the waiter embezzle close to 30 CHF. And after we used the credit card to pay, he still claimed that the payment was declined, insisting on the second charge!!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Switzerland is a nice place, it's a pity that these people put tourists away.

Don't eat at this restaurant. The waiter was very rude and tried to make us pay more. We have never had a problem paying at restaurants in Switzerland and other countries, but we couldn't pay with our card here. Our money has been deducted, but the shop owner says they haven't received the payment. Then we offered to pay in cash, we paid in euros and the waiter gave us francs, but only half the original price. When we pointed out that we didn't want francs, the waiter was very rude and asked us to pay in francs. We ended up wasting an hour on the problem, paying a very high price for terrible service and food. Don't eat at this restaurant. We had the worst experience in Switzerland.

I thought that Switzerland was a place worth visiting, however those days I spent in Switzerland totally overturned my good impression, I’m so disappointed. Firstly, the waiter asked us whether we need some drinks, we said just free water was okay. Then he provided a bottle of water for 8 CHF, which is so expensive! And it seems like a kind of Forced consumption！！！ Secondly, when it comes to the payment, the waiter use the post machine wrongly and request us to pay over and over again! It was totally a fraud！！！ The worst experience in Europe… I will never travel here again…

Everything was delicious! We had the lamb/potatoes/vegetables and the fillet with risotto and vegetables! It was all so good and cooked perfectly. Even the vegetables were yummy! Great service and experience!

Very friendly and nice staff. The glass house is super nice during summer, with the openess and the light. A super view of the mountains surrounding. 👍🏻 I wouldn’t recommend the steak, as it’s a bit too dry for a medium. Killer burger is nicer.

I asked for gluten free courses and was offered plain meat with salad, no gravy/dressing/sauce what so ever. The chef apparently was not able to make a gluten free alternative since that would take too much of his time. When we left without ordering anything they wanted us to pay for the water they served when we were looking at the menu. This we refused.

We first discovered this restaurant during our hopeful winter vacation. Arriving in the hall of this dismal restaurant, the first doubts appear. A reception room worthy of a leisure center and an irritating smell... in short. We decide to order several burgers, a classic for a so-called “Steakhouse”. Compact and bland steak, frozen fries and a product quality that leaves something to be desired, all for more than €30! The waiter, unable to make a small gesture as compensation for our future indigestion, then wishes to offer us a digestive. Concerned about our liver, already badly attacked by the burger, we decided to leave, full of regrets. An evening to forget…

To flee. None of the dishes ordered were worth finishing. I expected quality meat from a “steak house” and not tasteless frozen steaks, especially given the prices charged.

It is not a steak house but an annex to the frozen section of the local supermarket. If you like meat go your way!!!

Amazing food, delicious. very kind and efficient service staff. Good wines choices. our meal was a 400grs entrecote and we drink a Portuguese Quinta do Soque wine. Dessert ... the most amazing Toblerone mousse and we were delighted with it. A come back for sure! we sure recommend it!

I am so happy to have a great quality restaurant in Wengen. The food and wine were excellent. The pork with a creme sauce was well prepared. The service was v. nice and a pleasant atmosphere. Impressive wine list. Dog friendly.
