Good afternoon... I was a guest at the steakhouse for the first time yesterday and was given a very warm welcome. A beautiful table, great ambience... a very nice specialist seated me and gave me advice, a great selection of wines - and of course many types of MEAT on offer. My starter was tasty and beautifully presented, the main course was perfect for me - medium entrecôte, great fries. Vegetables a bit bland, but crunchy... everything served on a wooden board. The service was present and accommodating... I'd be happy to come back. All the best - greetings Markus

ZERO POINT, TO AVOID: I invited a friend who comes from far away and wanted to offer him what seemed to me to be a good restaurant. So he orders a piece of meat with Roquefort sauce; This cheese is very strong in terms of taste and it is therefore impossible to go wrong. He gets a hot chili sauce (visible) and yet the waitress insists it is Roquefort. We are not fooled and therefore clearly informed the waitress that the sauce was not correct, which she stupidly CONTREDITED, seeing as she clearly does not know what Roquefort is. So we asked to speak with the chef. In return, the waitress ignored us, we had NO DISCUSSION WITH THE CHEF, who had suddenly (magically) disappeared. The only gesture is that the piece of meat with 'chili' was not charged. In the meantime, my friend didn't get his menu so I paid too much for a bad restaurant. To be avoided, it's just a money box that doesn't respect its customers.

I was very excited that the food tasted absolutely very good. The service was also very friendly and the large selection of wines was also unique. I always enjoy coming there.

I was very happy with the Roqueforest steak. The meal was excellent. The service was very friendly. It's a shame that the restaurant was empty.

The restaurant offered a disappointing experience. The meat ordered, instead of medium, was served raw. The staff seemed insignificant as they almost never stopped by during the entire visit. To make matters worse, the side dishes were also cold. We would have to wait forever for the bottle of wine. Overall a disappointing dining experience.

In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is not really right here. For 29.- we expected al dente pasta with fresh spices. However, the pasta tasted more like cafeteria pasta, pre-cooked and pan-fried again. The burger was ok. Nicely presented, good, but nothing special for a steakhouse.

We had a pleasant experience there. We ordered a 300 grams entrecote(medium rare) with a loaded potato as side dish, ad apple pie with vanilla ice cream as desserts(Everything was delicious). We were served by a girl and a man, both were very professional. Warm atmosphere,good service and good cooking.

Basically it was good, but if the herb butter comes as a standardized portion from a major distributor at this price level, it's not worth 5 stars.

I gave it a second shot, but I will never go back to this restaurant. First of all, when we arrived, no one was there, we had to phone the number to call their service. Second, the steak was completely raw, even though I ordered medium rare. If you look at the attached picture, the steak looks horrible. And then; on the top of it all, my drink came completely wrong - I ordered Moscow Mule, they brought Mojito and it wasn’t done correctly, they tried to fix but it was bad.

Upscale ambience - upscale prices. My steak was on point, juicy and tender. The service was excellent.

Allgood, abit expensive for a Norwegian, but it's in switzerland so can't complain ^^

Excellent restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. The meat is very good and the service the same. I recommend. We feasted.

I just hope I didn't receive spoiled meat. I quickly gave up eating it even though I was very hungry. The meat had a sour taste that I couldn't get out of my mouth even an hour later. I would be satisfied with an average steak, but this was just bad. The waiter was very accommodating and nice. The meat was more than just questionable and unfortunately there is no other way to describe it than a complete disaster. It's a real shame, the ambience and the high-quality materials are in complete contrast to the food. Memo to the management. Change the grill master while there is still time, because bankruptcy or a lawsuit is not far away.

From the first moment we left the steakhouse we experienced top service. The quality and doneness were also perfect. It was just a great evening. We will definitely visit Pandarosa again. Many thanks to the whole team.

The food was good, we would highlight the farmer potatoes, the wine selection is something poor. The service was courteous and left nothing to be desired. We will be back.

Didn't receive what was ordered...half of it was cold...poor service...not worth the money! We wouldn't go again but now it's clear to me why this actually elegant restaurant usually doesn't have any guests.

Water and cola without errors but the rest is questionable

Disappointing, mixing up orders, messing up steaks and drinks. Out of three steaks two, were mixed up. Entrecote war medium not rare, Sirloin war rare not medium. recooked the Sirloin to medium. We accepted the medium Entrecote. Meat: Entrecote was OK, Filet was OK, Sirloin was not consumed (it was IMHO not hot enough for a maillard reaction) no crust and even on second attempt not to order (medium) Sides were below average, ordered Moscow mule cocktails, were severed and later identified as a different cocktail. All in not a good experience and not worth it.

Excellent food, consistency with the doneness of the steak, well located, very friendly service, and quality-price relation checks out. Totally recommend!

Food was pretty good, steak is nice, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Some things like the sides could be more specific or interesting, but it’s still a new restaurant. They prepare some dishes at the table, so overall good experience

Extremely nice restaurant. The friendly service is very helpful. I was just sad to see it empty on Saturday night. The venue is beautiful. I hope it will go very well. Prices are fair and balanced.

Great Lamb chops, also the spicy Spagetti and my grilled chicken and rice dish was delicious!

Food and price performance top. Service was very nice and forthcoming. Had the tomahawk steak. Food preparation at the table was very fine and tasty. Ambience too bright (much too bright). Music way too loud. If the table sets were replaced with fabric it would be really comfortable. Unfortunately there is no diaper changing station in the toilet :(

Since we live in the Klaraturm next door, we (my wife and I) had to stop by the new steakhouse. What immediately caught our eye when we arrived was the golden, rustic interior decoration, which really creates a big city flair. You also quickly notice that the meat is the focus and that the two chefs put their heart and soul into it: When serving, the chef briefly sears the steaks at the table, which looks very charming and is a little reminiscent of Salt Bae (in a good way senses). There was also a greeting from the kitchen in the form of a very tasty salad. Service also very accommodating. We will definitely go there again, at the latest as soon as we feel like eating steak again.

Had a cozy dinner. Steakhouse-friendly furnishings with rather dark cognac tones, almost upscale and rustic. The core theme here is the meat, and they have that under control - great tomahawk, properly cooked and finished at the table. Good side dishes, fine wine, what more could you want?

The food was very tasty, I had a lokum steak which I can only recommend. The preparation took place at the table so that the customer could also see how the food was made. The staff was very friendly and professional and the dessert was very excellent

My kids and I had dinner here last night. The staff were professional and friendly and the food was amazing. I had a ribeye steak, my daughter had a New York steak and my son had steak medallions. For my son’s steak they brought it out on a cart and cooked it tableside. All of our steaks were well seasoned, cooked properly and delicious and tender. Strong recommendation for Pandarosa.

Ordered the ribeye steak, cooked well but needed a hotter fire so it could develop a crust. Cooked to medium and was perfect color. The steak tasted great and was very tender. The sides were french fries and spinach with garlic and mushrooms. Both were perfect! Price is not bad considering the location. I recommend this place for anyone looking for some good food in Basel!
