Review 2024 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We came to eat with a very tight timing around 8:20 p.m. and were served in less than 30 minutes. The decor is renovated. Affordable prices between 20.- and 30.- Review 2021 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pizza Taxi has been around for a very long time and it's not for nothing: a restaurant on the water's edge with very good pizza and pasta and affordable prices. The only downside for me is the service but it varies greatly. Sometimes we are served very quickly and sometimes we are completely forgotten. If you want to have a pizza delivered, it's very easy to order from the site and you can pay with the card directly from home, which is great.

Best possible view of the lake with good pizza option. Not that expensive as well with good vegetarian options.

Customer for more than 30 years, never disappointed before, but recently it has frankly left something to be desired, price which is constantly increasing, quality which is decreasing. Pizza arrived cold, lasagna which melted so much cheese. We are really disappointed.

Bad experience! I had a very oily pizza and then when I wanted to pay, the waitress didn't know how to use the card machine. Very shameful!!!!!!

One evening I order on the site and then I pay directly on the site. Apparently the payment on the site does not work since I receive an error message. I place the same order again, choosing to pay by TWINT at the door. The second command works fine. Two days later at 8:30 I received confirmation of my first order (i.e. the one that did not work). I didn't really want 2 pizzas 2 days later, you guess, so I called them to tell them that this order was an error on their site and that there was no point in bringing me a new pizza. I am told that there are often problems on the site and that they will pass on the message and that no problem. BUT imagine that the 2 imaginary pizzas which were never cashed, nor made, nor delivered were still debited from my account. They are good but if I have to pay 80 bucks each time it will be a bit expensive.😂 To date and despite several calls, I have still not been reimbursed. In short, don't pay directly on the site but choose the option to pay at the door, but the pizzas were very good eh :)

Restaurant practically on the lake, no traffic. Italian food in generous portions, a small pizza is as big as a normal pizza in other restaurants. After several visits, I love going there. The staff is very friendly and motivated, the food comes quickly and was always fresh and good. There is also a pizza delivery service from the same kitchen. I give 5 stars because after 5 visits in 2 months it always feels better to go to this restaurant and be greeted so personally.

A pathetic welcome, after sitting on the terrace this evening; I wanted to use the toilets, and a gentleman behind the bar calls out to me, saying "these are not public toilets!!!!" I don't look like a tramp! The least you can do is greet your customers!!!! We just came to eat after a walk by the lake. We are distributed immediately. I wouldn't set foot there again. Unpleasant welcome

With each order, there is a problem, this time the person tells me on the phone that they are offering me the pizza because I am more than an hour late and once I arrive at the door they want to charge me for it. We had to leave so I refused her. Aggressive and dishonest delivery woman.

Cold welcome 🥶 and not pleasant…the waiters ignored us several times! The prices are very high for rather average pizzas! The positive point is that the pizzas were prepared very quickly, only 10 minutes of waiting!

Very good as a last minute restaurant by the lake

6 years ago, pizzas were more garnished than they are today. The seasoning was missing and the chicken was undercooked. On the other hand, the pizza dough was good. Disappointing experience.

There are signs posted all over the place "please wait to be seated". UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO THAT; YOU NEED TO BUG THE WAITING STAFF. We were conspicuously waiting right in front of the sign, then a group came in, directly asked for a non-reserved table, and got the last table outside while the waiting staff pretended not hearing me protest that we were first. Horrible experience.

Everyone knows this pizzeria in Vevey. The quality is ok but I always have the impression that the employees are stressed... They rush past you and seem constantly in a hurry...

Bad pizza(( very disappointing. I order Tricolor pizza with basilico but they just put some dry dust on a top. Super cheap made, does not worth a big price. And dirty tables around((

The dishes are delicious, especially the chef's pizza and the pasta. The servers are very nice, smiling and attentive.. pleasant setting.. I recommend 200%.

Pizza could be better, like fresh mozarella, real basil not the dried one from the box. The dough was ok... price ok... service fast. More potential...

Not the best pizzas but good nonetheless. A responsive and very friendly server, a dish that arrived quickly and a view of Leman from the terrace deserve 5 stars 👍

We were on the terrace on a Saturday, a good pizza indeed and nothing on this pizza not even a quarter of Morzella and a cl of tomato and 1 basilica Wow for 18 francs! And again after finishing the waiter asked us, do you want something else, a coffee or dessert, we were almost finished. We said a while. Then later he said to us do you want the receipt? we say we digest we will tell you. OK.... then we ask for the receipt and then a lot more waiting for about 10-20 minutes we repeated, he seemed to be disconnected? Finally we have to pay, I don't recommend it. Sincerely.

The location is great. On the edge of Lake Vevey. But they don't make reservations for the terrace, a real shame. Slow service...Pizzas are good

Pizzeria where I ate very well. Excellent lasagna. If I come back to Vevey I would happily eat there again.

You will have to make an effort on the lasagna given the price, use quality cheese instead of just any cheese.

Eat good. The service isn't quite there. The salad came after the pizza. I had to take the napkin from the neighboring table and I had to request the pepper separately

After 50 minutes of waiting after placing the order, the waiter told me that he forgot to place the order, total lack of respect and professionalism...

A waiter abandons our order and dares to bring us the receipt for the drinks! After almost an hour of waiting, we left on an empty stomach. Very unrecommendable.

The pizzas are ok (just once I found a hair). However, pizza taxi cars drive in a very dangerous manner. I was on the pedestrian crossing for a meter with my son in Vevey and the car did not stop but brushed past us at high speed. Fortunately we stopped so as not to be run over.

Very poorly received at 1 p.m. telling us that we only have 30 minutes left to eat and when placing the order a young waiter speaks to us saying come on quickly, let's hurry...... in this case it would have been better refuse us right away....rather than talk to us badly.....it wasn't the first time we ate there but it will be the last!!!!

You are serious ? 10 chf for a bottle of water ??????? This is theft At 6.20 chf for a 6x1.5L pack at Migros, and assuming that you probably get your supplies elsewhere even cheaper, I really don't see how you justify a price almost 1000% more expensive. A pack bought for 6.20. And you resell the pack for 60.- Chf This is beyond my understanding

Mixed experience. The downside is that the price of the pizzas offered does not correspond to those of the pizzas to be personalized. When I wanted to remove an ingredient from the Vegetarian, I had to pay the full price and the server did not grant me the order of a pizza to create. Here, I question the logic of the menu and the professionalism of the server but not the prices as such. The pizzas are still very good.

We had lunch here at the end of a walk along the lakeside of Vevey and tasted the pizza and Greek salad, all good. The place is nice and relaxing, in a beautiful location. Fast service and friendly staff. Average prices for the place. I would stay here again.

Pizzas good and quite large. Very good garlic bread. We took the desserts to go but haven't been able to taste them yet. Superb location right next to the lake, it's nice and the terrace is large, but we're a little crowded with the tables. Nice for a pizza 🍕 we will definitely come back to try the pasta 🍝

Quite unpleasant experience. We arrived for dinner we ordered a pizza which was served quickly, standard quality without being exceptional. Then we wanted to order dessert. The waitress told us that only the boss took orders... so we waited... the waitresses were embarrassed after a good quarter of an hour the boss started to sit at the table and chat with customers. too much we got up and paid without having dessert.. restaurant advice to avoid because it respects neither the customers nor its staff

This place has top location - along the lake. Hight prices are downside, but take away and sit on the lake, this will give you a small price reduction and better view.

Excellent restaurant by the lake

We had the margherita pizza for two people, which was satisfactory in terms of size and flavor. Our only complaint was the poor quality of service they provided. We've had to request coffee twice now, and we're still waiting. The restaurant had just three occupied tables and five servers, and they told us to wait for our server every time we ordered something.

Excellent pizza and very pretty setting on the terrace. However, the service was not adequate. Long wait time and getting attention from servers and almost mission impossible. Damage.
