Service quick and friendly, food good, prices moderate. Later the restaurant filled up (the restaurant is close to the camellia exhibition) and the waiting times for later visitors increased significantly.

The food is actually always quite okay for a campsite. What really matters is the service. Far too few staff. Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to pay for a pizza and a bottle of water. Always asked for the bill and ignored. They really don't have enough staff for such a large restaurant. We don't go there anymore.

Waiting times too long. Without warning (even if accompanied by small children). Poor service and lack of welcome. We had to leave the place after an hour of waiting and they hadn't even started making the dishes yet.

May 2022 & 2023: We spontaneously went camping and, as always, were able to eat very cheaply here. Food was good, so was the service. Price / offer: Very good.

After asking several times, we (4 children, 4 adults) received the wrong food after 2.5 hours. We were able to eat that without drinks, which didn't come either. We were then allowed to pay the full price for this “masterpiece”. We've been here several times and were even more disappointed by how unfriendly we were.

Service by the operators themselves, very accommodating. Local cuisine top. My favorite restaurant for years. I would be very happy to recommend it.

Camping restaurant and nothing more. For an outsider it is a maze to find access. Dark and gives the impression of little cleanliness. Unfriendly staff. Indifferent. We had two ice creams. Möwenpick ice cream should be excellent. 3.50 per ball, but two balls not closed so much so that barely (therefore 7 fr. per ball) there was one and service a la "sanfason"... A theft... when I pointed this out I was looked at as if to say " what you want at the end of the season is what you find"... but the trays were full, so there wasn't even the excuse that they were scraping the bottom of the tray... I don't recommend... only for customers with few demands on the camping...

We spent two days camping and wanted to go out to eat in a restaurant that evening without making a reservation. Great atmosphere, lots of green and cozy. We were assigned a nice table (despite the restaurant being full) and we were served quickly by a young, somewhat inexperienced but very friendly waiter, which made us very happy. After we ordered the food and drinks, 5 minutes passed until the waiter informed us that the kitchen was unfortunately closed (8:30 p.m.). Of course we had already prepared our tartare and salad plate. Well, what do we do now... So, a little disappointed, we decided to get a pizza to go and ordered the drinks when asked. After 10 minutes the waiter came to the table with the pizza we ordered. Paying with a card wouldn't cost less than 20 francs. Ok, I understand, but after the trouble they could have been more accommodating. Well, my partner paid with a 20 note, he pocketed it and walked away. You're welcome. The pizza was then a disappointment. It was cold and reminded of frozen pizza. This for 17.50 (or 20.00)? No thanks. Very disappointing. But maybe it depends on the day.

Very good service, authentic Italian food, delicious and not bland, large plates, eat to your heart's content, spacious restaurant. There are a lot of seats. But if you come to eat pizza in the evening, you may have to make a reservation because there are many people who come to eat in the evening. It's a very beautiful camping location. Stop for a leisurely swim at Lago Magiore lake.

Friendly service, food came quickly and was pretty good for a campsite restaurant. I can confidently recommend it 👍

To be fair, the food is good and the pizza is also good value for money. But the service is really bad. Not necessarily too few staff (but that would certainly help), just very inefficient. You have to wait forever. But since the store is full every evening because of the camping, the owners aren't interested in any reviews on Google anyway.

BAD, RUDE AND GORGEOUS SERVICE. To make us feel guilty because we ordered 4 different things to drink.

The boss and the boss are very unfriendly and arrogant!! Unfortunately, they are also very unfriendly to the children. If you want to pay by card, you'll hear mutterings in Italian, which isn't even possible! Unfortunately, the store is completely overpriced and some of the goods on the shelf are already 2 weeks old. Just disgusting. I will never set foot in the restaurant or store again!

Nice atmosphere with a playground. However, after 1:10 hours of waiting for the food we ordered and repeatedly asking until when we could eat, we informed the owner at 9 p.m. that we were leaving the restaurant and that he could cancel the order. He then just said what was the point, it wasn't his fault. That's right - you're just the boss - really now?! But that says it all. Completely overwhelmed team. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a visit.

In the off-season we were treated to a perfect dinner here in a courteous and friendly manner. Thanks!

Very cozy Italian/Southern atmosphere. Staff very polite and accommodating. Food was super tasty and delivered to the table very quickly. I can highly recommend the mussels! Very tasty! :-)

The food is good. Store has a large selection. Depending on the mood of the day, the boss can range from friendly to annoyed. Takeaway orders can only be ordered at 6:00 p.m. sharp, you have to pay and, depending on the company, wait 20 minutes in the restaurant. A bit inflexible.

Camping shop has everything you need. But if you want to pay, the boss first has to continue chatting with his colleagues or do something else. Card payments are also not well received, people then gossip about you in Italian...Pizza is ok, but there is also a long waiting time and unfriendly service...The boss is also very annoyed and unfriendly...

I have been going for years, I even had my daughter's communion lunch. The food is good, the service is top notch, the fish is good. I can only recommend this place

Not recommended at all. From food to hygiene to service, everything is bad. Very unprofessional even when complaining. Very very unprofessional. The food inspectors were supposed to come here unannounced. Despite all this, EVERYTHING (including a coffee) was added to the bill. A bit of work thanks to camping. Otherwise this shed would definitely have been closed long ago. Unfortunately, you can see here: "Out of nothing becomes, becomes host."

The cheese on the main course was infected with fungus, apparently it was pre-cut and old. We weren't even given a coffee or a discount, very lousy for such a restaurant.

The old lady is or can be very rude and very unfriendly in difficult times. The choice of words isn't particularly child-friendly either. It makes them think that they don't like tourists And suddenly the broken German is suddenly fluent Swiss German. funny!!!

The waitress ignored us for a long time. We left again after about 15 minutes. The tables next door were all served. Three waiters preferred to talk and clean the tables. There were exactly three tables occupied, so there would have been enough time

Simple but wonderfully comfortable restaurant for families. Large playground where children can play. The prices are honest and the quality of the cuisine fully satisfied our needs. The staff is kind and friendly. Every time I go there I always feel at ease. I advise!

Were there 6 times within 7 days and were thrilled 6 times! No matter whether pizza, pasta, meat or seafood... always freshly and deliciously prepared and cheaper than you would expect in Switzerland! The service is also impeccable with a touch of Ticino charm! We'd love to come back!

In contrast to the camper Lukas, we felt very comfortable at all times and always ate very well. Whether as a couple, 6 or 9 people, we were always fed perfectly. Tip to Lukas: Heated discussions and then three people talking to the owner don't help. You're just keeping him from work. Ordering correctly and ordering children with the appetizer would be smart. But you probably already know that, right🙄. So dear team of the restaurant, don't be angry, just keep it up and thank you all for doing this work for us. Maybe Lukas and his team want to take over and make everything better. 😳 We hope not.

Called at 7 p.m. regarding capacity for 6 adults and 4 small children. Answer: "There will be space in 30 minutes." When we arrived at 7:30 a.m. "Oh Madonna" from the waiter when he saw the two strollers. A few tables were quickly put together. After 15 minutes the drinks and food could be ordered. The drinks and starter were on the table after 15 minutes. Two questions and two tired children (60 minutes) later, the menus were gradually served and at the same time the starter plates were cleared away. “Freshly prepared food takes time,” said the waiter. Otherwise, fast food chains would be preferred, he added. The warmed spaghetti, the canned mushrooms on the pizza and the cold cordon bleu inside classified his statement accordingly. A hungry 3-year-old's forgotten portion of french fries was allegedly canceled. After a heated discussion, service staff threatened to call the police. Stunned silence. “Other families have children’s books with them,” said the waiter. Insight and de-escalation skills? None! At least the cordon bleu and the portion of fries weren't on the bill, but a second bottle of water was included. Tired of the annoyances, the 140CHF ransom was deposited. Delivery service would definitely have been more relaxed. Never again, get well soon!

I've been to this restaurant several times but only because it's the only one on the campsite. The service is rather on the lower side, the food is good and the boss is mostly annoyed or stressed. The shop that belongs to the restaurant is getting old and is rather expensive. But what's annoying is that the service isn't right here either, either there's no one to have time for the cashier or you're just annoying because you're a nuisance. After all, the service and the kitchen in the restaurant next door are running. The children's playground, on the other hand, deserves 5 stars.

Pizza tonight! Why not? Pizza and other food are good, a playground for our grandchildren within easy sight. A good tip if you want to eat casually and fairly inexpensively for Ticino standards. Very busy on weekends in summer, but we always got a place with a reservation. A good offer that I use often: “Menu Donna”, salad and smaller pizza (still big enough for me) at a very reasonable price.

Service and pizzas are good. Nice playground for kids. They have something against paying with credit card. They have the machine, it works, but they try to not use it at all costs, even by lying at the customer. Very annoying.
