The cafe looks secluded and I was unsure to enter at the beginning. But, I’ve entered anyway because I heard it has a special vibe. The reality is, the cafe just as u might imagine like the name is all about games (board games, chess …). It’s a place you got to meet nerdy minds and pretty talented people. If like board games or just want an evening to hangout with friends in Lausanne in a calm and quiet place, I would recommend. Remember, this is not a place you go for a date or to meet up with family members. It’s all about the games… I had fun at the end, and I’m glad I’ve entered the cafe.

I never post reviews, but I had to, when I'm in Lausanne it's the place to be, the people are nice, the boss is adorable and the waiters are great, it's cheap and the general atmosphere is crazy. Come to Qwertz once and you’ll see!!

Super geek bar as its name suggests. Play a couple of games, enjoy a concert from time to time, drink beer. What more ?

What a cool bar! It has an alien sculpture and a ton of board games for you to choose. Simply amazing. In the summertime, the terrace is filled with friendly faces and locals. It's a bit further away from the crowded center, so perfect if you prefer some peace and quiet.

Games, culture, good drinks. All this accompanied by a wonderful conviviality. But good.

First time I went to this bar after hearing a lot of good things about it! You have to believe that what I was told was true because I had a great time! The boss is really super nice, we can play board games and even consoles! Being a “geek” myself, it’s only natural that I really liked this bar. I will come back !

The best tavern keeper in Lausanne! We had a fantastic time in very pleasant company in a passionate, human-sized establishment. I recommend you stop by to quench your thirst at the QWERTZ café ;)

Accompanied by the PTZ (Pata Schnitzel) team, we were welcomed like chefs and the bartender was incredible. This won't be the last! We plan to try the Shot die again! I strongly recommend after a day of gaming to relax after a few defeats on the rift!

Qwertz is a unique place. Where we must stop to chat with the energumene who serves as boss. Or even drink a cocktail which is more than adequate. Special mention for the local milk free of charge offered by the house. I confirm, I recommend, I will come back.

The drinks are amazing and at a reasonable price. The ambiance is ao different from other bars it's refreshing! Downstairs you can find some amazing gaming equipment and play while enjoying a drink with your friends.

It's a geek bar basically. If you like video games etc you'll find like minded people here and twitch streams on the walls. The drinks are interesting there's plenty of things to try. Ideal for afterwork beer or late afternoon coffee. It's a more relaxed bar.

A pillar geek bar in Lausanne, this pioneer of E-sports bars in Switzerland deserves his title of boss! Geek card, E-sport broadcast on screens, a good geek afterwork bar during the week. (I don't know the atmosphere on weekends, but it seems that it's more hectic)

One of my favorite bars in Lausanne. The servers are friendly, there are several board games and there is a concept that I like, it’s the roller dice. This involves rolling a 20-sided die (for 5 francs) to choose the shot that will be served to you. In the best case scenario you receive a long drink, in the worst case go see it's really funny ;).

This atypical place is one of the most social bars I have ever had the chance to visit. In the age of smartphones and people frozen in front of their screens, it is surprising to note that it is here, in an E-sports bar, during an evening, that I met around ten personalities, each very different from each other. others whom I will have the pleasure of contacting again for new adventures. The boss is accessible, super friendly and passionate. In short, a most pleasant evening! Geek, hardcore gamer, casual, or none of the above will have a great time.

I highly recommend this bar for all gamers and geeks. There are many delicious cocktails on the menu that respect the video game theme. For example the Starcraft cocktail or the Command and Conquer. It's a very friendly place and the boss is very friendly. The mana potion and the life potion are very good. The games room downstairs is very modern and well appointed. The only downside I could give is that the computer equipment is a bit old and used.
