Restaurant Aki in Lausanne

We ate a seaweed salad as a starter, eel sushi, miso (with fresh mushrooms), and gyu as a main course (shredded beef, rice, fried egg and other ingredients) It was refined and very good. My stomach was happy. The service and setting is very good too.

They have shio, shoyu and miso ramen but their description is wrong. In Japan a shio ramen is a broth with a salty flavour (shio means salt), shoyu ramen is a broth with soy sauce (shoyu means soy) . In this restaurant, shio is the porc ramen and shoyu is the chicken ramen. The Ramen is the most complete in the town, with the nori, double egg, meat and even the narutomaki. Unfortunately, it's not the best ramen in town. Broth is lacking taste, noodles a too thin. The Karaage are good, but it's more a "chicken nugget KFC style" rather than a Karaage.

Traveling for work and was looking for something simple and clean and tasty. I went across the street first to the takeaway business (same owners) and they pointed me here and I'm so glad they did. I ordered the pork ramen, and also some avocado rolls. That was some of the best ramen I've had, and they whole staff took really good care of me. Rolls were tasty too. I will return before I leave Lausanne!

Exceptional! The staff is very friendly. The calm atmosphere with piano music in the background is very appreciable. The food is also excellent with a reasonable price. I recommend.

Katsu and spicy katsu mayo taken away. The dishes were generous. The udons with sautéed vegetables are very good, I recommend the chicken with the spicy sauce - very tender and well seasoned

After a disappointing first experience when the restaurant opened, I decided to try it again. It is clear that the ramen presented to me today was much better than those that I had severely criticized during my first visit. They weren't the tastiest I've eaten, but I finished them happily. In addition, the restaurant offers a large choice of sushi with an excellent quality/price ratio, I regularly take it away.

Never disappointed, the welcome is warm, the chirashi and sushi are delicious!

I had ramen noodle soup. The food is good but it's not Japanese cuisine. It'sore Chinese style cooking. Service was always attentive and quick. Ambience was all ok.

Very good place for sushi, as well as hot dishes. We tried a large Miso soup, which was delicious and comforting. Japanese beers are also very good there. I will definitely go back there with my wife next time.

It's unbelievable I drank four beers here and for some reason they served me food afterwards just like that on the house. This is more Swiss to me than anything else I experienced in Lausanne.

Staff a little cold, it's always nicer to be served warmly. The menu lacks consistency (sushi, ramen, Chinese dishes, Italian pasta, etc.) but I think they did this for local students who want to eat a variety of meals during the week. However, the prices are expensive for the quality of the restaurant. However, the food was ok but nothing more.

Best quality/price miso ramen in Lausanne. By far.

Japanese restaurant in the heart of Lausanne. Meals taken on site at midday, no need to necessarily reserve, in any case when we were there the restaurant was not full and it has enough dining tables inside and outside. A daily menu is offered every lunchtime at an affordable price (CHF 20.- on average). The service is rather fast and the staff very charming.

Excellent meal, Ramen sushi and ravioli at the top like in Japan. Very nice staff, we will come back!

For me it was a discovery and I found it excellent

A nice new Japanese guy in Marterey. The Ramens, very good, are served in generous portions. The menu also offers a range of other Japanese dishes. Prices are reasonable. The owners are the same as those at Sushi and Steam Baskets across the street, which you may already know (freshness, quality... for 7 years). This new place allows them to offer us a wider range of cooked dishes. To discover !

Big potential for improvement on ramens which are sorely lacking in taste and quality. Frankly disappointed even if the staff and the owner are friendly.

Unfortunately the ramen is not at all up to the level of the competition... bland broth, flavorless ingredients...

We have just discovered this new restaurant managed by the Japanese Marterey 56 team. Once again no disappointment, the food is very good. Ramens and rice dishes are very tasty and perfect for these winter evenings!
