Too bad the filling was disappointing, cold and the potatoes were not fresh and tasteless. Starter, excellent meat and dessert too. Staff attentive and very friendly, thanks to the team.

The head of department is a little to the west, she needs a course because she explains poorly to customers and leads us down winding paths on a straight line. A little politeness and professionalism would suit him well. On the other hand, the kitchen is more than impeccable.

Food (pizza) so-so so-so. But very courteous service.

For a lunch for 3 adults and 1 child by reservation, we were well received at the brasserie. The outdated setting should be improved to make it more welcoming. The contrast is obvious with dishes served in very contemporary dishes, the products are fresh, well presented and good. Prices are correct. We will return when the terrace is open soon.

A catastrophic kitchen organization for a Sunday and a pitiful quality of dishes!!! Arrived at 11:55, ordered at 12:25 we were served at 1:35 p.m. All tables were served more than an hour to an hour and a half late! The duck breast was raw instead of cooked to perfection (fried in the fryer…) with very fatty pepper sauce, ordered tagliatelle, received fries! Unacceptable!!! However, this dish was ultimately not charged. The staff tried their best to compensate for the shortcomings in the kitchen. We ate there last summer, everything was perfect. What is happening today???

A great restaurant, well situated near a lake and a golf course in the middle of the countryside. The last time I came here, I had a Chateaubriand steak, accompanied by fries and vegetables and three panacotas (chocolate, honey and strawberry) for dessert. Likewise, I recommend fish, which is usually well cooked.

Very disappointing. 1h15 wait before receiving the dishes, it's a bit long...! Perch fillets served without vegetables or salad to accompany... (for 41.-......it's expensive for what it is...). Disorganized and very rough service. It's sad to see.

It's a shame that on a Sunday afternoon we couldn't eat a cake with coffee, after a walk in this magnificent place.

The service is very friendly and pleasant. The perch fillets from Lake Geneva are delicious. Small downside, the fries are not regular. Crispy at the first serving, soft at the second or vice versa. The waitresses and the waiter bent over backwards to please us. I'm going back there with pleasure.

We took the gourmet menu, two starters to choose from, the bisque a little too salty. Very good main meal and choice between cheeses and dessert at the end. The cheeses were good but served in too large quantities. Good value for money.

I don't often post bad comments but... here I don't really have a choice. We went to celebrate a birthday. And we had the chef shouting at the waitress which meant we had a bad time because we could hear everything he said to the waitress. I had the gourmet menu. The bisque had a taste that I didn't like and the morel sauce served with the beef gave me a stomach ache that I couldn't stand. It affected a large part of the family. We were all not well. Not sure I'll go back there for the price it charged and the stomach ache I had afterwards. Otherwise the waitress was superb

The place is superb. Too bad we had rain... We were well received. Super good meal, it was for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. There was a small problem with the wine and a bit of a wait but they were very friendly and offered us bottles of wine at a good price as well as coffees and digestives. A big thank you to Eu because despite all that, we had a great time and it is with great pleasure that we will come back.

I don't like leaving bad reviews but the experience at this restaurant was unacceptable. Edible food but absolutely not worth the price, disastrous service with us, very unfriendly bordering on disrespect while the tables next door were treated to the smiles and care that one expects from an establishment like this one. Only the exterior setting was interesting, you still need a table overlooking a view… I strongly advise against it!

Great restaurant, very good value for money

Ui ui... It's been a long time since I've seen a restaurant that doesn't have so many things under control. The food really wasn't anything special. Edible, okay, but nothing more. You don't have to give up home cooking to do this. Merengue dessert with white double cream sauce on a white plate? 🤔 It was a flop. The only good thing was the friendliness of the chefs and the service and the espresso. The place is also pretty boringly decorated. That's why you don't have to go out separately. Unless you're there anyway, then okay.

We spontaneously went to eat there with 16 people. The food was very good and the service was very attentive. The prices are great. We were very satisfied.

The menu is varied and the quality products are tastefully prepared and the setting is magnificent. At noon we had to be patient until we could eat, more than 45 minutes from ordering until the dishes were served... We were subsequently informed that there was no more tirami-su or tart... too bad.

Second time we have come, and still extremely satisfied. The first time we had a waiter who was great, and this time an incredible waitress who was the only one on duty, wandering around everywhere while ensuring quality service and natural kindness. The food was very good, like the other time. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful setting, but the service... 2 errors on an order which includes two drinks and two desserts. We hope this doesn't happen too often...that makes it wasteful...

An unmissable gem of the region, the Lac de Bret restaurant offered us an incredible gastronomic experience. Friendly little restaurant in an idyllic setting around Lake Bret

Idyllic setting, very pleasant welcome, I went there from time to time. I don't like to give negative criticism but when it crosses the line, it must be pointed out in a constructive manner. My choice fell on the lasagna, huge mistake, ersatz meat, thick cheese which does not correspond to a real lasagna, tasteless, could not finish eating after a quarter. Reported to the friendly waitress, who specified that the chef would be Italian 🤔, but no apology from the management to whom I would have liked to communicate my disappointment directly rather than writing this review, nor compensation offered. In short, very disappointed and I hope the kitchen will avoid this kind of mistake in the future.

Magnificent place, we were able to eat on the terrace in the sun the plated menu for 39.-, delicious squash cream with foie gras, perch fillets with an incredible little homemade sauce and truly succulent desserts! Very pleasant service with good humor and a great welcome! We'll come back!

Excellent table, every time it's great

We were a German-speaking group. The staff doesn't make any effort to understand German. Not even the slightest bit of gas, wine or anything like that. Lots of wrong orders that were accepted thanks to our kindness. The food was edible. Salad too much sauce, fries very good, schnitzel consisted mainly of unseasoned breading, The carrots were great again. The dessert, the fruit salad, was a poem. The location was great by the lake.

A magnificent corner with a very beautiful view where the ice cream sundaes are excellent. We haven't spoken to it yet. The daily special is there at 5:50 p.m.

A huge thank you to the staff in the room, the kitchen and the owner. There were 42 of us who came from Neuchâtel to eat there today. Everything was really perfect and the menu was excellent. You made people happy and we sincerely thank you. Plus it’s a beautiful place.

We went there during the week and had the pork chop with morel sauce... a treat with a generous quantity of morels and impeccable and fast service (unlike our last visit on a Sunday) so we will happily return during the week.

We ate at the brasserie because renovation work is underway, which certainly explains the strange mix of the food menu. But I thought it was a good idea to keep the dishes from the 2 menus during the work and not disappoint anyone. We did not choose our table well which was located next to the terrace door, in winter, and of course 2 unvaccinated people ate outside... The only other problem with this location is, that it is next to the passes kitchens. The meal was very well prepared, well served and delicious, but it is true that the cook who seemed to have come out of Prison Break lacked subtlety with the opening and closing of the serving pass and in the dialogue with his colleagues. I will come back soon to add 1 or 2 stars if some improvements are made. The colleague from Prison "Break" at the service was friendly and pleasant. On the other hand, there were few people in the restaurant and there was already a fairly long wait. I'm afraid to imagine the wait if the restaurant is full.

The organization of this restaurant needs to be reviewed by management. The staff is understaffed and seems overwhelmed. The dishes are served after too much waiting.

Super cool and chic and any place that says otherwise is unjustified

No good, too much waiting before being served, rude waitresses. No whipped cream to make Viennese chocolate and nothing to eat for a snack. Very disappointed. Deposits whose origin we do not know have found their way into our glasses/cups. I really advise against it, don't come and eat here.

Magnificent moment at the Lac de Bret restaurant. Place visited as part of a Turkish hen party. Perfect decoration, the room is large and can accommodate people while leaving enough space for a large dance floor. Succulent menu chosen in advance with the chef (an incredible veal leg!). Very charming and always smiling staff, impeccable service. Thank you for this wonderful evening!
