This is the second time I have returned to this restaurant and I am very happy each time when I leave! The dishes are succulent, the servers friendly and the service is fast. The best Indian restaurant in Lausanne. Very good value for money.

We ordered takeaway twice from this restaurant. One of the best Indian restaurants in Switzerland. Great authentic taste and lots of options - both vegetarian and meat. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. We ordered dal makhani, baigan bharta, veg biryani, and palak paneer. All curries are served with rice. Definitely recommended if you are missing good Indian food.

Chicken Bhuna was good and different from the clasic.

The overall experience was nice however the daal makhni did not have enough daal but just sauce and the tandoori roti was half baked and half raw which was disappointing. The paneer and naan were on the other hand amazing.

Great, tasty food with friendly and smiling service

First visit to this Indian restaurant in Lausanne and the meal was excellent. The service is provided by a very friendly and smiling team. We didn't wait too long. The 4 different types of curry (chicken and lamb) were really delicious as well as the garlic and cheese nan. Without having had a starter or dessert, we found the price too high for 4 people (230 francs).

Golden India restaurant in Lausanne provides an authentic Indian flavours which is very tasty. I highly recommend this place for Indian cuisine. Also, there are many other branches too in Swiss which can be explored. The service and the ambience is also very good.

Warm welcome, very clean restaurant, friendly staff, good and efficient customer service and most of all, the food is delish. The chicken tandoori was moist and succulent, the chicken madras very tasty, too, but the shrimp bhuna was our favorite. You can ask for a chili sauce if the dish is not spicy enough for your taste. A good experience overall and we'll definitely come back.

Decent Indian food in the heart of Lausanne. This is a chain of Indian restaurants in Switzerland with 6 of them across mostly tourist frequented towns. I like the lunch buffet on weekdays which is decently priced considering it's an all you can eat buffet. You always have vegetarian options available as well. Food and service are ok though I wouldn't call it fine dining but considering it's more of a quick service option for Indian food, it's friendly and good enough.

One of the best places to have Indian food in Lausanne! In fact, this probably is the best place to have Indian cuisine in Switzerland. Have been visiting this place for the past three years now and the consistency in taste and texture is impeccable. Highly recommended.

Since it was a weekend, the lunch buffet was not available. We therefore decided to share three different dishes plus bread. It was all delicious, quality food and cooked really well. The portions were large and the waiter very friendly and helpful. The place is nice, clean and well-kept. However, don't expect to spend little but definitely a quality place.

A nicely appointed restaurant, with a very pleasant atmosphere. The server was absolutely lovely and attentive. Many very interesting vegetarian options (the chili paneer at the crossroads between Asia and India is very interesting).

Wanting to try an Indian and my friends said it was great. Bad experience for me 1st points wrong address it is at rue marterey and not at the federal court 1. Server not speaking a word of French but only English, a language that I do not speak fortunately the person who was with me understood a little. Sorry here we are in Switzerland. Didn't bring us the price list of the drinks we took lassi I thought a little more expensive than a coke but not that price. All you can eat buffet at lunchtime but little choice, one salad, 1 rice, 1 chicken, 1 fish, 1 vegetarian, 1 lentil and sauces. Didn't explain to us that we could get more but that we had to keep the same plate, he told me in English... and I thought we couldn't get more, I didn't take anything back, feeling bad comfortable. In my first service I had taken very very little to taste (rice and the vegetarian dish with a little chicken) the person who was with me had taken it again but had not made any comment. SO … I won't go back there.

If you speak English, no problem. The place is on the first floor of the building, with a beautiful space that is pleasant for the eyes, comfortably seated. Depending on where you are placed, beautiful view of the lake. Please note the Entrance is on the side, rue Marthery 2, next to the Centaure. Great experience 🙏

Good food, big portions, lots of meat. However, rather expensive. If you make a reservation via the “the Fork” service, you will usually receive a 20% discount, but this is only valid for at least two people. I was all alone in the restaurant, as another reviewer has already experienced and described.

The dishes we ate were very good and delicious, especially the butter chicken with their Nan's! Be careful for French people: you must know how to speak a minimum of English, because the waiters do not speak French.

I would say the buffet is decent, few options but tasty and with rich flavor. The used ingredients were fresh and didn't seem like old.

Food is Great. Manager Angelo is very accommodating. Serving Person Ajit was very polite. Only thing that the Restaurant is very stuffy inside with almost no air circulation.

A word of advice for those unfamiliar with indian spicy food: when asked about the spice level, it might be best to opt for medium or low. Lip smacking Indian food. Original and authentic.same regular Indian menu in abroad but the taste is totally different. Keeping the originality will fill up your empty spaces very soon. Lausanners don't mind paying little more than the average for perfect texture, aromatic , and taste. It's Not like CHEF MICROWAVE cooking your food in other Indian restaurants. congratulations to the chef. Will come again soon.

Great discovery with the gourmet passport. Very nice restaurant and super good food. A little surprised at first to be greeted by a waiter who only spoke English even though I had made the reservation in French over the phone a day before. But the waiter was very nice, we had a good chat!
