We had the veal cordon bleu and the braised calf cheeks with Cornalin here, the same meals I enjoyed at this same restaurant three years ago. It was as good as I remmebered it, and will be coming back to eat here again on my next visit to Zermatt.

Fine cordon bleu with crunchy vegetables and fatty potato gratin. My husband's beef fillet medium was ok, more like medium rare, but better than too dry. Speaking of the spaetzli, they tasted like they had been warmed up and were dry. Fresh would be something else. In response to our complaint, there were first accusations as to why we didn't contact us straight away (basically we want to eat together, not one after the other), then the boss came and we were given a grappa as an apology.

Best beef stroganoff I've ever eaten! The staff cooks directly at the table with a small flambier show. The staff (André) is very friendly and attentive, nice atmosphere, just nothing to complain about :)

Beautiful place to enjoy a really good meal. From the wine to the appetizers everything was amazing. For the main course we had the Chateaubriand with Bernese sauce and it was incredible. The servers are really helpful with the meal selection.

We experienced bar raising food quality, presentation, and service. The staff especially Daniele guided us through the choices for our courses. I highly recommend the Chateaubriand a flambé and the grilled lamb steak, coupled with either the Spätzle, Rösti, or Kartoffelgratin. The restaurant was our highlight in Zermatt. The service is top, the food is excellent and a select wine list. We felt so well looked after that we went out to eat again straight away. Friendly, courteous & qualified service - where else can you find that these days. The dishes were prepared with a lot of love and it was a real pleasure.

Wonderful evening with an unforgettable meal and excellent wine. It was a tip from our son-in-law Mico. And as a surprise, one of my wife's school friends who we haven't seen for more than 20 years was there.

Delicious meal tonight at Spycher! Service was excellent. There was a little amuse bouche of cucumber gaspacho, mozzarella, and tomatoes which was a nice little surprise. I had the duck with spatzle which was perfectly cooked and a hearty portion. A little on the expensive side for me but I left feeling like I certainly got my money's worth!

I ordered the lobster tail pasta. It was the worst I’ve ever had. The pasta itself had a strong bleach taste with a bitter after taste. The waiter saw three quarters of my food left untouched. He didn’t even ask.

Well this was a fun special dinner, tasty food and yummy desert, nicely presented food , formal yet relaxed atmosphere. We did not tried the table flambé foods but rather individual entrees and happy we did .

Fitted us in with no reservation luckily. Daniele cooking and the owners made a great team with fantastic food and even better service. Highly recommend the flambé options for the great theatre.

We ate here for Christmas supper. The experience was wonderful. Our main course was the lamb flambé cooked perfectly to medium rare. The escargot appetizer was very tender with a nice sauce which we sopped up with bread. This is a very nice spot if you like the flambé experience.

I haven't had this happen often when I've eaten at a restaurant in this price range. We also promise that the price-performance ratio is right and that it is worth it. Ok-isch… let’s start with the positive: beef quality is great and the red wine by the glass also very good! Then the improvements (IMO)… 1) the lights in the room are like being in a police interrogation room. Not nice when ur out on a romantic dinner 2) the fish was average. Lacked flavor. 3) the filet (tournedos) was supposed to be grilled (that’s how it’s presented on the menu). However it was cooked sous-vide and then finished in a pan. No grill-stripes nor any crust. Still it was cooked to perfection (rare) but lacked any of the grill taste/experience. So all in all the experience was not top notch and you can find better in Zermatt at the same price.

Visited last fall and perhaps we didn’t order the right dishes - the dining experience wasnt most memorable on that trip. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated, right down to the colours (loved the blue table spread). Food wise see pictures. It was ok but something was missing. But would love to revisit Spycher if we get to travel to zermatt again. Thank you!

Amazing place. From the cosy setting to the attentive and friendly service and most of all the glorious food. We went for one of the flambé dishes and it was a marvelous and tasteful experience. Cooked right in front of our eyes and served beautifully. If you enjoy good meat in a super pleasent setting, make sure to book a table here. Simply delicious.

Feel a bit foreign in the place. But good food for swiss standard. Service was average.

Very nice restaurant, really stylish and homely. We sat outside in wonderful weather, but still took a look inside the restaurant. The greetings from the kitchen got us in the mood for our meal. A very fresh and beautifully presented salad with a choice of 2 bottled dressings so that everyone can use as much as they want. The Chateaubriand was on point and came with 2 different sauces plus herb butter. The fries were crispy and the colorful vegetables were crunchy. The Pinot Noir from Salgesch was the perfect choice. The homemade, flambéed Grand Marnier parfait was the crowning glory. All in all, a very nice evening with fine food and competent, friendly service, who also had time for a quick chat and a laugh. Thanks everyone, we'll come back next time in Zermatt!

One of the best restaurants in Zermatt!

Really disappointing meal, worst service we’ve had on our honeymoon. Chose it because it’s says it’s open until 11:30, but we had to order drinks and our meals in the first 5 minutes because the kitchen was closing soon. My wife asked for a mocktail recommendation and it was half soda syrup, undrinkably sweet and thick. I asked for a second glass but they said there were only 2 wine options possible out of an extremely large wine menu. The manager was nice and offered us blankets, and the food was good, but I had to write a review, as this was probably our only bad meal so far in our week so far in Switzerland.

This time too, the service was super professional and the food was amazing!!! We will always be happy to come here⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was good, the service courteous and friendly. However, even for Zermatt the price-performance ratio is not right. There were two of us and we paid 170 francs for two courses and drinks each. We find that to be too much. The food must be something really special - which it wasn't.
