New place that opened about 2 weeks ago. On one side a large new development (approx. 138 apartments) on the other side the Rhine. Friendly and comfortable, but the view of the bridge or building deducted the star. All food is homemade But give the place a chance and it will surely score points with other advantages.

As I often do, I walk from Birsfelden over the Black Forest Bridge - and oh, a new discovery: Rhyläx Café! A few guests have made themselves comfortable on the sunny terrace and are sipping refreshing drinks. I enter the dining room and am impressed by the feel-good atmosphere, a successful mix of industrial flair and Scandi style - modern, clean, flooded with light and, despite its simplicity, surprisingly comfortable. You order and pay at the counter; I'm happy to appreciate the extremely moderate prices and the friendly smile with an appropriate tip and say: "See you again very soon!" The homemade delicious chocolate cake alone is worth a visit and there are many more treats waiting to be tasted!
