Super fine bread, sensational plait and perfect almond toppings! My family and I love this bakery!!!!

Friendly service, good advice and very fine cake.

It seems like they are racist against Asians^^ The fat employee at the bread cage gives Westerners one plate for each bread, but he sighs as he puts three breads on a narrow plate at a time. Even when they give me a plate, they throw it away and don't even give me a knife. I thought the cappuccino was watered. Why is this place called a good restaurant? Koreans, don’t go lol.

The café doesn't seem very comfortable to me; you look at the rather messy work surface behind the checkout counter. A nut slice was very tasty. However, the cappuccino was tasteless; you could probably taste the cocoa dust on the milk foam. The baked goods are certainly good to take away, but I don't find the café very inviting to linger.

I just bought a Salami Weggli at 9 a.m. for Fr. 5.10. So hard and dry that it was probably from the day before yesterday, I had to look for salami too. I am often in Grindelwald (not a tourist who only comes once) and will definitely not be a regular customer of this bakery.

Very friendly staff and the products taste delicious. I can only recommend the Graubünden nut cake!

The latte macchiato is a very tasty dish that seems to have about 0.5 tbsp of spicy flavor in it. ^^ I also ordered tea, and it was served with mien mule and anun tubbap jungnidu.. Yamangyu Gagyun MashuㅔYonggari The view is really nice^^😃

The food is amazing. Service, I would say..not so. When we went to the dine in table, they guy crossed arms and asked us in a very rude voice, "Can I help you?" I said-Good morning, and he just repeated himself like we are stupid people just wandering off their place. As a tourist, it is a must that workers should be a little polite to guests. Though I think it's not their nature, it still leaves a bad impression on the town of Ringgenberg. If we are paying, at least we get good customer service. I would not recommend or just grab a food and go. Don't dine in.

Every now and then I drive from the Basel area to this bakery to get the Wetterhorn bread. It tastes great and is still good even after a few days. The service is very friendly. Of course I take some of the bread with me on the following hike, the rest comes home and is frozen so that I can enjoy "a piece of Wetterhorn" every now and then :-)

The service was quick. We took a spinach quiche to go, which was heated up first, and delicious to eat at an outside spot with the view of Mount Eiger. We purchased this GIANT Toblerone to take home to family. Lots of other sweet treat options that had me wanting to go back for more.

There was a middle-aged/old lady employee who was very rude. I bought two pieces of bread and told her about it. She only took one and left. I thought she didn’t hear the second thing I said, so I told her that there was another one. As a result, the old lady shouted "give me one moment" directly to me. After we finished shopping, we sat outside for a while. The old lady stared at us speechless and a little disgusted in the store. Finally, she came out to chase us away. She even said in a disparaging way that the prices outside were more expensive and your products were very cheap. So you can’t sit down. If you don’t let me sit down, do you have to write a sign to say so? If you don't write a sign, doesn't it mean you are doing something stupid? And just last month in this store, a Korean said that the clerk was racist. Now it is difficult not to think that it is biased against Asian faces. This is the first time I encountered such a rude waiter in Switzerland. It’s 2023. Seriously. Oh, yes, the waiter is just rubbish, and the bread is terrible, lightning protection.

Yesterday before the Jungfrau Marathon I had a big piece of chaaskuocha, but I didn't run with it. Very nice staff with me, and even nicer guests from all over the world. I always have luck at breakfast and often have even better encounters and conversations than in the evening. Here is a very good place for a new day that the Lord has made. THANKS.

Nice little bakery in grindelwald. It opens early and the staff are very friendly. We got hot chocolate, milk coffee, juice, various kinds of breads and stuffed breads. We just ordered inside and the staff kindly warmed the breads and brought the drinks to our table outside. Will definitely recommend it for a place to have breakfast Swiss style.

One of the few places that open early. Service was fast and good. I can’t say the spinach pastry I had was super good but a coffee and a pastry in the cold morning - kind of can’t go wrong.

Poor quality food. Chicken nuggets are the over-processed kind, that are made of “chicken paste” then formed into “shapes”. Cheap garbage in a grocery store and Not worthy of a restaurant menu. I was shocked. Fries were okay.

My family and I were up in the morning on June 9 around 7:55 trying to find a place to eat and we chose to go to this bakery. While we were buying I saw an employ doing a very racist gesture to asians my making their eyes small. I started to argue and another staff member came saying that it is not racist. They said it is a very normal way to express asians. The employ even said that since theres a lot of Asians in Switzerland he said that it’s commonly expressed throughout the country. A normal staff would immediately apologize seeing that their colleagues did a racist gesture, but the staff here defended the racist staff which means the entire bakery was built by racism. This behavior is not acceptable and I want to warn people if you want someone being racist to you, don’t go there. This one event had ruined my entire trip. My pleasant trip to Switzerland was ruined because of this bakery. I went into this bakery with my kids in the morning and they were looking at the bread. But while the children were looking at the bread, one clerk was looking at the other employees and tearing his eyes out. I was so angry that I asked about it, and they said it was a place with a lot of Asian travelers and that was just normal… This is truly an ignorant place. Korean travelers, avoid this place.

Super nice Cafe on the main street. Easy place to sit for a while if you want to keep an eye on weather conditions. The baked goods are great - go for it! The tea selection is a bit limited though.

The staff worked efficiently and I felt good when I saw them, and they were very kind. I had the Kikkyu and it was one of the best tasting things I've ever eaten.

I was a really bad memory. Don't order birthday cake here. I ordered a birthday cake but they change the price,size and it was too dry and bad. When I asked their answer is that it is normal fresh cake is dry. I will not come back again.

The goulash soup and hot chocolate were delicious. The price was reasonable, too. My croissant was a bit tasteless though. What impressed us the most was how nice and friendly the waiter was. He definitely made us feel welcomed and want to come back again.

I loved the service provided by the Portuguese Mr. who served me, which was kind and friendly beyond what was expected from other Swiss places, which are generally colder and unfriendly and only show that they are available to be friendly by speaking their own language, when another react with some hostility, which for a Tourist Resort should have its Places be more updated and adapted to the new times and be more hospitable, perhaps look more at the similarities and less at the differences and follow the example of the hired emigrants who work in this Beautiful Tourist Resort

Ringgenberg is a reasonable bakery with friendly staff. Their food is not particularly good or at least I did not like it much. We went there for breakfast. May be it's just me, I do not believe in cappuccino that just comes out of a machine without manual intervention. Granted that espresso needs to come out of a machine and you need a machine to make froth of milk, but to me a cup of cappuccino that just do all by itself and then sprinkle some cocoa powder on top never worked (read tested any good).

Best bakery in Grindelwald! Searched for an hour for a decent bakery. Surprisingly almost no customers.. Good prices, and excellent and tasty cakes and desserts - they don' t only look good.. And their self made chocolate is one of the best I've ever tasted. Also, great service.

Everything i ordered was BELOW average (they’re edible but not tasty) + overpriced. And the coffee was bad 👎🏻 I came to this place because I saw the good reviews but I’m shocked! These pastries are not even NEAR good, also were too cold and the most disgusting thing for me was she gave them to us by picking them up using her bare hands!!! Not wearing gloves nor using any type of food picker + there were flies inside the pastry rack 😂??? I would never come back to this place and I suggest you don’t.

The overwhelmed service in the bakery coffee shop today at 9:10 a.m. was outrageous! First she brought the wrong order and tried to force it on us. Afterwards we wanted to order breakfast for three people, so she replied: Can't you order everything together, I don't have time now, I'll only serve the other guests now. We put the money down and left.

My experience with the delivery service was really bad, and the subsequent customer service was abysmal. Ringgenberg offers a delivery service for CHF 1.50, which we were very happy to use. I ordered bread for five consecutive days. The first day it showed up - perfect! The second day, no bread, so I had to take the bus to the village, explain that we didn't get bread in my best German (nine of the staff seem to speak English). They provided me with the order and a reluctant apology - but no reimbursement of delivery costs. Third day - hurray, bread! Fourth day - no bread. I had to stop skiing earlier to go too the bakery and get bread. This time no apology and no bread - according to the staff, the delivery guy put the bread in a letterbox close to the trash container. Difficult for me to check as I'm in the village, not at the apartment. But I'd lost my faith in the delivery service and asked them to provide the bread for the fifth day directly, so that at least we would have bread for lunch. When at the apartment, there's no letterbox near the trash container. And not with our neighbours on either side or across the street. So all in all, I paid for five deliveries, got two, had to pick up two myself and got treated badly.

We've been there for coffee three times now. Very cozy facility. Extremely nice and attentive service. Delightful milk coffee to our liking. Every Saturday there is a bar hopping session. Very fresh and rich sandwiches.... And the Grittibänz was allowed on December 6th. of course not missing. We will be back.

Cozy place, if you're lucky you may be served by a friendly Portuguese lady, making communication easier for those who don't speak English, I was served by her, but I was also served by another lady native to this place, very friendly, every afternoon we went for a coffee or hot chocolate with Strudel with vanilla sauce. On the last day she already said Thank you in Portuguese.

The ladies who work there are super nice! 5 stars for service!! The pastries are average, the prices are fair. There is a good view from the third table next to the window inside.

Cappuccino wasn't good - I asked the waitress about it - after I paid - She said - no one had ever complained (which apparently isn't the case when I read this) - What was ok - and wasn't taken negatively by me was that I should have should say it. Still, it wouldn't have made the coffee better - clean the coffee machine and maybe test other beans?

At the end of our stay in Grindelwald we wanted to get nut cakes as a souvenir from Ringgenberg. We were horrified to discover that free-range eggs (sic!) were used for this purpose. These poor creatures never once in their miserable lives see a ray of sunshine in this wonderfully located Grindelwald. I am sure that a switch to animal-friendly free-range eggs would not only be welcomed by me. However, as long as this does not change, Ringgenberg has lost two customers.

Cosy place fills up fast but also empties just as fast. The veggie burger was small but very tasty served with way too many fries. Staff is super nice.

Very unfriendly staff. I ordered a coffee latte and wanted to do my online meeting there. I thought if I order a coffee, it won't be a problem if I spend 1-1.5 hour there. Of course I had headphones with me. The waitress rudely asked 10 times during the meeting, even though she heard that I was talking to other people, if I wanted to order something else. When I asked her, am I disturbing you? should I go? her answer was an unkind yes. Never again! I would like to note that the pastry shop was not full during my meeting, 4-5 tables were empty the whole time...
