Yep! If you are craving for Asian food, the chicken fried rice is good! We also ordered the Hawaiian pizza and green curry chicken rice. Friendly service and a very convenient location just nearby the bus stop. Portion was huge. They have take away boxes for you to pack.

1 star for bad and rude service from the boss. Another star for the food itself. I’ve order green curry , the taste was good. However I had saw how he prepared the others foods such as burger and so on, touching the burger patty and others things with his bare hands without using gloves was unacceptable. The owner collects money and prepare the burger and fries using the same hand without washing it.

Sorry, but I can't understand the 4 stars at all! Chicken wings were undercooked and still bloody inside. Pizza was okay in terms of dough. The only “tomato sauce” in terms of taste was pureed tomatoes, canned mushrooms and topped with a handful of oregano after baking! I never expected to ever get such bad pizza! Honestly! The store is always lucky enough to attract enough unknowing tourists because of its great location. But it should definitely be avoided and without exaggerating.

The owner speaks English and has excellent customer service. We ate a chicken burger and without having any expectations, the owner himself exceeded them.

I came here because I was craving pizza for the first time in a while due to the evil prices. Not Korean pizza. It's a basic scene and there are no pickles. There wasn't much variety of pizza and it was cheap.

You know the people in Europe who like curry, which is common in Europe where they just set up a random shop on the side of the road and make your eyes shine? You can think of it as just a store with a Swiss shell. Can you roughly imagine what the taste and service will be like? Since it has a Swiss shell on it, the price will be Swiss price. Occasionally, I see reviews saying that the pizza was delicious. That kind of review was just because I was hungry and tired as soon as I arrived in Switzerland. When I looked for a fast food restaurant in Grindelwald, it came up there, so I went there, ate it, and wrote a review. Even if you go to any store on the street and eat food with cheese in it, it will be incomparably delicious compared to the food here. Honestly, even if you just buy pizza from Coop and put it in the oven, it tastes better than here. Unless you arrive really late and Coupe is closed, I recommend going to Coupe and buying food to eat. With the money you spend on food here, you can buy a lot of food for a few days at Coop. Since I'm in Switzerland, I don't mind spending a bit of money as long as I go to a proper Swiss restaurant and eat. I don't recommend eating at a restaurant that offers this quality and this price just to get a quick meal.

My wife and I were hesitant to try this place, but we’re glad we did. The food was very tasty, it hit the spot. We got chicken pizza with veggies on it, and he made it spicy upon our request. We also got the red chicken curry which was good too.

The man behind the counter was nice, I went mid afternoon and had my food very quickly. If you want a quick hot meal on a cold wet day, this is a great spot for a delicious pizza!

Pizzas were super crispy and delicious. If we hadn't waited 30-40 minutes for our pizzas, I would have given it 5 stars. We sat outside where the staff could see us directly, but they still managed to forget about us. The store wasn't very busy either. We also wanted to eat on site and still got a take away box 😅 so if we should have ordered take away and waited at the checkout, it would have been smarter.

For people who are coming to this place, let me tell you this place is not halal as mentioned by the worker here. The onlu food you can survive here is veggies.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our needs. They made suggestions and made sure we were comfortable. The outside seating area had pretty views, looking at the mountains. The noodles and pizza were yumm

The food was good but spicy... We had ordered four dishes, all were good. Red curry veg, rice noodles with tofu, fried rice and green curry chicken. It was good hit of spiciness after days of pasta pizza and breads 😁😅. We paid 76 CH. The guy at the counter was a bit rude. We went during closing time, he delivered our food and closed the hotel.

Scam! Beware your credit card charge, friend of mine ordered CHF40 lunch, but later found out he was charged CHF404! They're trying to recover the money. Update: With our Swiss friend's help, we recovered the overcharge. Update 2: After we received the over charged money, the owner request to remove this post, the fact he deliberately diverted my friends attention, at the moment he should looking the POS screen, we know this wasn't his first time, he will do the same trick to other unsuspecting tourists again!

We are vegetarians and asked for vegetarian food but the chef added chicken into our food and the attitude of chef was not good to understand the preferences of particular community.

They are very rude and unprofessional, I am a vegetarian, ordered veg food, but saw a piece of chicken. Instead of apologizing, he just took a spoon and scooped the piece out and expected me to eat it. When I refused he gave me a nasty look and said you have to wait, very bad experience.

Food was insanely overpriced but mostly the staff was very very rude. One employee made condescending and impolite comments and the overall atmosphere was extremely offputting. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

The owners need to read this! Urgently! Your employees are overworked to the point of being extremely frustrated. Extremely sad employees and the bearded gentleman was frustrated because he was probably exhausted with working all day long and probably not receiving enough tips or some other reason. The younger boy seemed friendly but unfortunately he was not so polite as when I went to buy a drink, he slammed the change back on the counter (rather hard) and as a customer I felt insulted. To be honest I wonder how would the food be for my health when someone cooks it with such negativity. I hope the owners can hire atleast 2 more workers to help with the kitchen as when you can't work peacefully, you can't serve your customers with a smile. P.S. - Food was good though. But the service needs a major overhaul.

Oct 2022 - This place was a god send, the menu and quality of food was fab. Also one of the few places that offered non halal meat as not all of the meat served is halal. I have seen a few comments of the workers being rude but i honestly did not experience this. During our 5 day stay, we spoke to the workers daily to the extent that if we passed in the street we would stop say hello etc. I have noticed certain people walk into this place see that the workers were of south indian origin and look down and talk down to them. This is a cultural issue and people should not behave in this manor. Lovely little place, well priced and almost became our daily venue. Keep up the good work team! Apr 2023 - another road trip to Gindelwald and visited Tea & Takeaway so many times over this visit - there were 7 of with different tastes and requirements and we all loved this place.

What a rude impolite and mannerless staff we encountered with. We were mocked and driven away, because I was ordering for take away while looking at the menu, and the guy taking the order didn't have "time" for me to check the menu. WOW!! I regret stepping into this place just after arriving Grindelwald.. the experience turned off our mood for the next few hours. Such people don't fit in service industry, and that too in a place like Switzerland.. where , apart from this, we have always been treated with utmost hospitality wherever we go..

“Don’t judge a book by its cover” might best describe what we experienced visiting this Asian and western eatery. The owner Safi runs the place just on his own, unfortunately variety choices of tea wasn’t available due to machinery issues/ turned off. Thai Red curry with rice was amazing, right taste, mild spicy, good portion, savory and satisfying. Absolutely a hidden gem in town.

Definitely a hidden gem for Asian tourists who need some Asian food after days of pasta and pizza. The place was empty except for a couple sitting indoor. Just 20 meters away people were paying 3 times more to enjoy the same view. The cook cum service staff was friendly and was fast, considering he was working solo. Food was pretty decent too, given that Asian food ingredients might be difficult to come by in this area. Will be back if I am in this area again.

The delivery was trash. We also had to trash the pizza‘s because they tasted digusting. The „dough“ was soggy/floppy and uneven. The „pizza“(what they call it) had an indian taste. Worst food of my life, by far!

Inchajirim If you don't use both hands to use your card, you'll hear Chinese voices, so keep that in mind. If you write your name on the receipt, people will read it strangely and yell at you, so be careful.

This Afghanistan guy that are there is rude, arrogant,no concept about food, organization. Don't speak English,no German. No hygiene at all. Until is there. I prefer to not eat sick food.

We visited the restaurant at dinner time, and the chicken burgers and margaritas were among the best. For your information, only one person working is an Afghan, and he is of the utmost politeness and respect.

Rude customer service particularly from the south Asian cook. We asked if the food was halal and he dismissed us with an attitude stating only chicken is halal. After we walked away he proceeded to mock us with another co-worker thinking we could not hear him. Why does a customers question about the ingredients that they will consume warrant mockery? The food was mediocre but the experience was terrible.

The restaurant in Grindelwald is very convenient and the food tastes good. The pizza with vegetables was good, as was the chicken burger. The fried potatoes were very delicious and hot with the cold weather. The staff was helpful and they had paper spoons and forks. I recommend visiting it.

Muslim friendly restaurant in grindelwald. You can find burger, pizza, rice noodle and curry rice. Also chicken wings and chicken fried rice, the portion enough for 2 person. the price like other resto in switzerland, quite expensive.

Great variety of food. Good price for the town. Fast service. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good portion size and everything we ordered tasted great. Friendly staff.
