Face, they believe that whoever has money is written on their face. The risotto I ordered was white and came with saffron, it was very hard. Not al dente, and too salty. I complained and they completely ignored me! I wouldn't recommend this place and I won't go there again.

The food was delicious as always! Unfortunately, the restaurant was filled to capacity, so guests were standing around at the entrance the whole time and even the service staff almost couldn't get through. It was also very loud. The staff was very friendly, but because of the many guests, absolutely understaffed and stressed. The focaccia for the antipasti came later than the antipasti itself, a drink was missed and the 5 dishes didn't arrive quite at the same time. If I may give a little tip; less is more! The restaurant isn't as full anymore. It's better to have two or three fewer tables for a pleasant atmosphere and no stressed staff.

We reserved at 9 p.m. Until 9:30 p.m. there was hardly any attention and other people pushed their way forward. Service staff hardly cared about the situation, only asking at 9.30 if we would like something to drink (while waiting). What a shame!

My new favorite Italian spot in Zurich! The waiters helped us picked out an excellent bottle of wine and our pastas were absolute perfection. A lovely atmosphere that sets its self apart from anywhere else in the city.

Best pizza in town!! Very loud though..

I gave this restaurant another go yesterday after the last time I’ve had a fish poisoning and there was no understanding and blaming from the staff. The service is miserable I didn’t get a knife to eat and the quality of the food is very low! Much overpriced too. Never again.

What else is there to say? Anyone who hasn't gotten to know this Osteria has definitely missed something. I can only warmly recommend that you do this as soon as possible. Without words. The madness combined with the great friendliness and service. Very rarely have I eaten so well and felt so good. A really big compliment to the whole crew. Bravo Salvatore, a particularly complimentary compliment to him and his fat feelings in our hearts.

One of the most overrated and overpriced restaurants in Zurich. On top of that it is so loud that you can hardly talk to each other. They charged me CHF 25.5 (the same price of a pizza) just for a plate of grilled vegetables which was not even on the menu. Complete rip-off.

We spontaneously walked in in the evening and were warmly welcomed and taken to the last available seat. Really all of the waitresses were super friendly and the food, WOW! We had the pasta alla scoglio and a pizza Napoli. So incredibly fresh and delicious! Because it was so busy, it was a bit noisy, but the store is just alive and that fit the mood. So when we're in Zurich again, it's almost a must to go back. Price-performance 1A! To anyone thinking about going - YES!

One if my favourite Italian restaurant. We had the Degustations Menu 3 Dishes. Definitely return and I would recommend this restaurant. This place can be very crowded and loud.

I went last Thursday night for the first time with my wife. My wife is from Romagna and we really appreciated the high quality food. We had a Burrata, some fried fish and a risotto called Rimini anni 80. Everything was very good. We were delighted with the high quality food, really delicious. A huge compliment to the kitchen from us. I had seen this restaurant some time ago on an Italian program and I wanted to visit it. The wines are also excellent. I personally was also very positively surprised by the limoncello, very good and with a strong lemon note, something that is difficult to find nowadays. Even the waiter who had the first day and welcomed us was very friendly and made us feel at ease straight away. We will definitely be back. The meals on the menu were extensive, interesting and very enjoyable. I can't wait to go back. Another huge compliment to the kitchen. Greetings and thanks from Davide & Manuela

Actually a lovely restaurant with friendly service. Unfortunately, it was so full that my partner was sitting further away from me than the stranger next to me. In order to have a conversation we had to speak quite loudly and we didn't always understand each other. Logical when a restaurant is so crowded with people. New people who came in sometimes stood halfway up the restaurant between all the eating guests. The food came quickly, but unfortunately my tortellini were still a bit hard and I didn't like it. I then swapped my meal for a pizza. Instead of taking the tortellini back, they gave it to me to take away and included it on the bill. The pizza was okay. All in all, it's a shame. Unfortunately, I didn't feel comfortable.

We came with some friends for dinner on a Monday evening. The dinning room was packed and has a good Italian atmosphere, with many empty bottles of wine around. The service was very helpful and friendly. We had the fish based tasting menu to share. We started with a mix of seafood, followed by some fish-based pasta dishes. It was a bit up and down: good on average, but not really special. The wine list was a bit limited, but we could find something we liked. Overall, a good restaurant, but like many others around.

The flavors are completely imbalanced. Heavy dishes with liters of oil and salt that promise good Italian cuisine but are really far from that. Absolutely unbalanced flavors. The ingredients get lost in a sea of ​​condiments. I lived in Bologna for years and even considering that it is an Osteria the food doesn't even come close to what you eat there, where the flavors come from the ingredients.

Truly a very welcoming environment, uniformed and very professional service, truly DOC dishes, I must say the octopus appetizer is a must try, the soft and thin pizza, not Neapolitan with a high edge, so for lovers of thin pizza it is the 'ideal. Worth all the stars visit it.

I have visited many Italian restaurants before but unfortunately this place is a big disappointment. They use very strong smelling cheeses in all their products. Everything in the dairy product group has a very unpleasant smell and taste. I definitely do not recommend it.

We were there on Saturday evening April 22nd. at Santo Bevitore. As always, the food was delicious and there wasn't a long wait. However, the restaurant was equipped with additional tables, so it was packed and noisy. You couldn't get between the tables anymore and had to go behind the bar to get to the back or to the toilets. Also a challenge for the staff. Our table wasn't set in white (like all the others) and we sat on garden chairs - not so cool, especially considering the prices. We'll go there again, but if it happens again we'll unfortunately have to pass in the future.

A classic Italian restaurant with good pasta and pizza, but it seems that it's a victim of its success: the cramped seating means just to many covers for the space. Consequently, it is extremely loud with everybody trying to make themselves heard in their parties, and the kitchen struggles to keep up with orders: our party of four waited an hour for our pasta mains. The waitress did comp us with an apology and after dinner drink, so all's well that ends well and we enjoyed ourselves. All told, indoor seating is not especially comfortable, very loud and service can be slow as it's always very busy.

Good antipasti, pappardelle with truffles excellent! Tiramisu didn't taste good, was bland and not typically Italian. The background noise is extremely loud and the place is overcrowded. Service staff attentive and quick.

Bitter disappointment Tables that are as close together as possible, with the appropriate background noise - can be great, but can also - as here - be exaggerated. Reserved 2 days in advance, we were allowed to sit on folding garden chairs next to the cloakroom, very uncomfortable. Food came very quickly - a bit surprising in a busy restaurant, but in principle not a disadvantage. Large tortellini with sauce that was too salty and really cold filling, very bland. I would have had a tortellini as compensation, which didn't really convince me. I thought the dessert could turn the tide, but the tiramisu was by far the worst I've ever had. A cold, solid mass in a drinking glass, probably pre-portioned in large quantities to serve the guest quickly. It's not clear to me how you want to layer biscuits and mascarpone cream in a glass. No aroma - very very bad. For this general catastrophe, we were given a puddle of espresso that could only be as big as a ristretto. Mass production in poor quality!

All the restaurants around Zurich are very expensive, but this one is cheap and even delicious! I was worried because we were the only Asians, but the staff were very friendly!

The food was very good. We didn't have to wait long either. Unfortunately, the menu card is very outdated (handwritten) and therefore hardly legible. The map definitely needs to be modernized.

The food is very tasty and the staff is friendly and tries to please the guests. However, the place was completely overcrowded and the noise level was very high (it was Saturday evening). Due to the many guests in the restaurant, the drinks and food ordered could not be served in time and we had to accept some waiting times.

The food is good and the staff is friendly and nice. Why a star? We first waited 45 minutes to have 4 margherita pizzas to share as an aperitif and another 45 minutes to have the dishes ordered. Too many people. Too many covers. If the owner had had 50 cm more he would certainly have placed another table for two (to make more money). It felt like being on an intensive farm. To let people pass I had to move every time. However... ..do you want to be a fun village tavern? Okay... But you don't make me pay for the bitters. 11 people spend 1106 francs. and you make me pay for the bitters?? 13.50 fr. for bitter, a Braulio eh... In those taverns, my dear, they put the bottle on the table for you. Please help yourself. So in my opinion, you can't have your cake and eat it too. The tagliatelle are good, but also not... Chicken only once.

Best Italian restaurant in Zurich 😋 staff is super friendly, portions are really generous and delicious! They offer a big selection of pasta dishes from all regions, the seafood and pizzas. You definitely cannot miss their delicious desserts.

I'm writing this in Italian because the place won the award for best Italian restaurant in Zurich (little big Italy program). I like the atmosphere and the kindness of the waiters and the room manager. The food is good thanks to the ingredients, perhaps cooked a little quickly to be able to keep up with the incessant flow of customers entering. At the table you feel like a sardine, the place is packed, but the waiters, as already mentioned, always have a kind word and fix it when the kitchen gets something wrong. The pizza dough is exceptional. It remains one of my favorite restaurants and I would like them to go back to the origins and take more care in the preparation of the dishes. Thank you

Pizza is ok. They forgot our reservation, no excuse, no will to make up for it. There are better Restaurants in Zurich.

Negative: - We had a reservation but still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated - The place is too packed (no space between tables; you won’t enjoy it if you are claustrophobic or if you have a little bit more flesh on the bone) - we were seated next to the wardrobe so I was constantly bumped into - the waiter seemed overwhelmed, it was a very stressful environment - the menu is handwritten and very hard to read. What you see on the homepage is not what they sell. I went for a pizza - we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for our main - the pizza tasted like literally nothing - we had to ask 3 times for the bill - expensive for what you get Positive: - the waiter apologised for the waiting time (even though a couple 2 tables next to us arrived after us and were already finished before we were served our main) - we were offered a lemon sorbet as an apology - the chef himself came and asked what was wrong (I had to tell him that the pizza tastes like literally nothing) - my friends liked their pasta All in all, I would not go there again. It was not a good experience.

New Year's Eve "menu" was an absolute disgrace in every respect. Never again! CHF 98.50 for poor quality, poorly prepared meat, 3 ravioli with bland scampi mince and a bit of panetone from the discounter. Successful rip-off, thanks for nothing.

I've never had such a bad experience in a restaurant. Bad service, had to keep changing seats because the restaurant was overcrowded and got the wrong order twice. The waiter was OK, but the owners/owners are extremely unfriendly, disrespectful and literally argued with us or shouted at us. And last but not least, the bill was wrong and the adoption was ridiculous! Oh and the food is nothing special and not worth eating for this overpriced price. The restaurant has now lost 10 guests and many more ;) never again!

Really great! The food is amazing! Saturday evening and it's packed. Also loud. But the mood is very good. The service remains calm and very attentive and friendly. Price performance is very fair. The wine list is also very good. Really highly recommended!

The perfect place for a "Notte Italian". Typical Italian food, prepared with heart and a great selection of wines. The service is good and friendly. It's best to reserve a table because it's always very busy. I will gladly come again.
