Siam in Engelberg

We came here on day three of our five day stay in Engelberg, hoping for some nice “light” cuisine. The atmosphere was very nice, it is a clean and stylish restaurant and the view over Engelberg is fantastic. The service was very friendly and in most parts very good, except when two new tables arrived at the same time and we had to wait over empty glasses and empty plates for quite some time, while the food and drinks orders of the other tables were taken and brought out… I suppose that is understandable, but maybe it would make sense to get some more staff to cover busier evenings. The food unfortunately was only “ok”. It was perfectly fine but nothing exceptional. We had Pad Thai, the ginger beef and the duck in lychee sauce and all were certainly edible but far from the best Thai food we ever had. The desserts, especially the pancake, were disappointing. The portion was tiny and it tasted like it had been made way in advance and had been reheated, so ended up being very dry. All in all I wouldn’t come here again.

View and food are fantastic! Service is 10/10, thank you Yani, our waitress, for very nice time in this restaurant.

Must say Yani the one who served us gave us a warm welcome and was exceptionally wonderful and sincere with the services. The view from our seats is breathtaking. The Food is Authentic Thai with great taste. Love their Pad Thai Prawns and Green Curry Chicken. A must visit if stopping by Engelberg City.

Good mountain view....the lady boss is very good in hosting. We had pad Thai, sweet sour chicken and Tom Yang Gong....definitely must come to have the dinner with Titils view.

I've eat a lot of thai restaurant in switzerland and i must say this place is the best. Best food especially the green curry, best staff service and outstanding view ❤️

Real thai food. Try the green curries. As good as 30+ years ago in Thailand before mass-tourism spoiled the food.

Simona was very helpful she took good care of us and also suggested pizzeria nearby. We would love to be back again.
