Sixième Heure in Genève

There were 5 of us including 1 child. The syrup at CHF 4.50 is very expensive!!! The dishes were minimalist and did not overwhelm the palate with taste. Gazpacho...from a brick. In the tagliatelle, we had to look for the dried tomatoes 🍅 as mentioned on the menu. The ceviché... no comment... and I'll stop there because there's still a lot to write ✍️ I'll just add one sentence regarding the service... we placed the order very quickly... 1/ 2 hours later still nothing. One thing is certain, we will not come back at the 6th hour... we really had the feeling of being a paying pigeon customer.

A canned gazpacho served with 5 pieces of feta, no diced peppers or croutons and with a not fresh salad that I didn't eat, I made the comment to the waitress, without any return! In addition, very slow service and a children's syrup for 4.50 fr!!! Not a good experience for me!

Great restaurant where we can buy the furniture! The cuisine is seasonal and of high quality, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I particularly recommend the starters and dishes.

Very varied food menu. Very good value for money. Beautiful presentation of the plates. Smiling and pleasant staff. Flea market atmosphere with all these heterogeneous objects.

A friendly restaurant whose menu offers several vegetarian options

Excellent Sixième Heure snack, with old-fashioned hot chocolate (almond milk) and an incredible caramel runny heart muffin. (The muffin was gluten-free, a plus!) I had a great time, the place is charming and the waitress adorable, I recommend with my eyes closed 😍

This restaurant deserves its stars. If I could I would have put 6. From starter to dessert everything is excellent and the service is fast and courteous.

Atypical place mixing tea room, flea market and restaurant. A hell of a concept but a great success! Careful and delicious cuisine and impeccable service. I would come back this summer to enjoy the terrace.

It's a magnificent place, the dishes are delicious, the staff are really friendly and the decor changes regularly, it's one of my favorite café restaurants!

The staff is friendly, efficient, attentive and professional. Every time I go I have a new (excellent) surprise: a white beer, a homemade lemonade, “tapas”… and what’s more, it’s cozy and lively. It’s official, it’s my favorite place in Geneva.

Were there on Saturday, November 4th, 23. Everything is just right here: the food, the ambience and the really attentive service: the waiter's patience seemed limitless - all of our numerous questions were answered in detail, professionally and very friendly. A young, obviously extremely committed team. We spent a few hours there - it was so cozy, we forgot about time... As a fan of light cuisine, I chose the mousse au thon and the salad with goat cheese. Plus a delicious, vegan chocolate mousse. Highly Recommended! The next time I visit Geneva, I already know exactly where I'm going to eat... I can't wait!

Very good salads, I highly recommend the goat cheese rolls with honey! Reservation required because very small terrace. 2 small interior rooms in a super nice bohemian flea market style! Reasonable prices and homemade cold lemonade and tea. Don’t hesitate to test!

Pleasantly surprised by this address. The service was really great: the waitresses were very friendly and especially caring towards the children, I have rarely seen that! The dishes were of very good quality. The vegan chocolate mousse was delicious, the best chocolate mousse I have ever eaten!

Top notch service. The staff is attentive, attentive, smiling and takes the time to explain the dishes on the menu. Excellent starters to share (eggplant with candied tomatoes and red pepper tapenade with ham). The portions seem small but are ultimately sufficient. The squid steak was tender and the accompaniment quite spicy, a real treat in the mouth. Excellent white wine. The soft chocolate caramel center was cold but still very good. The setting is very pleasant, terrace away from traffic and therefore calm. The café with its atypical interior decor because there is a lot of furniture, lighting or paintings for sale, we look everywhere and we are intrigued. Funny and surprising. Price a little high but the quality is there. I recommend.

Very stylish place, great deserts and drinks. Service attentive and fast. Quirky and cute, nice atmosphere in the evening, after a torid day it's the perfect place to relax with a cocktail. I really recommend the Frangelico Sour.

We came for Sunday brunch and we chose the Brunch option. We were able to eat on the terrace. Not enough explanations regarding the dishes. The dishes were good but the dessert, the gluten-free chocolate moilleau, was cold and not reheated. We were really disappointed. Drinks are charged. The plates were very small in quantity, everything was in mini portions. We had finished lunch but were still hungry. Damage

Very nice, cozy little cafe with good service. The waitresses were very nice. However I was a little disappointed with the quantity given the prices… I find it quite expensive to pay 30.- for glasses that are only half full. Too bad because they were good.

Very good restaurant with a great flea market concept where everything is for sale! The menu changes very regularly and I have never come across a dish that I didn't like. Small downside on the speed of the service which is very slow and therefore not always ideal for a lunch break.

Really small portions compared to the price I took a brunch package for 32 francs (excluding drinks) everything was cold and I left hungry so disappointed.

A very friendly place as well as the waiters despite the fact that they tend to forget us. We came for Sunday brunch and were disappointed. Not very greedy and small quantity. We would have liked more fruit than what was served with the muffin and additional dairy products such as yogurt. The dish with the egg was good but in too small a quantity, I wouldn't call it a brunch but a snack. And drinks are charged extra.

The quality went downhill. At least for the Saturday brunch. The bread was not fresh! Took 40min to make a pancake. Service was not very pleasant. The orange juice doesn’t taste like a pressed one. You cannot share a formula, so be prepared to pay 32CHf + drink by personne. Overpriced for what you get. Maybe a consequence of the rather poor economic situation. But I cannot recommend this place.

We stopped there spontaneously for lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and there is so much to look at. It's like a little jump in time. The service is super nice and fast. Since we don't speak French, the owner gave us her cell phone so we could translate everything. The dishes are beautifully prepared, sufficient and super tasty. The octopus was excellently fried. Although I don't like eggplant, the eggplant puree was excellent. The scallops with cauliflower were super delicious. The desserts are the perfect size. It's not cheap, but worth every cent. We would love to visit this restaurant again next time.

I really like this place, the menu changes often and the concept of a flea market restaurant gives it a special character. The terrace in summer is very pleasant, away from traffic. Copious and good quality dishes. I come back regularly

Very nice menu with dishes incorporating as many seasonal and/or local products as possible. Wide choice of desserts also including seasonal products. The setting and concept are nice and the service very warm. Great discovery. Can't wait to go back. Prices quite high but justified in view of the products used.

Friendly place, impeccable service, delicious food

First and last experience. I wanted to pay for my coffee with the card and the owner didn't want to cash it because the bill was less than 10 CHF. As a Genevan, this is a first in Geneva, especially for a café/restaurant. His arrogance and rudeness left me speechless. I would add that some of her comments were discriminatory, even racist when I kindly offered to go and withdraw cash to please her (while she was clearly at fault, any establishment must accept any method of payment of share of its customers, regardless of the amount). She told me she was sure I wasn't going to come back and pay her. However, his attitude was very different with his European-type clientele. Avoid this establishment if you want to be treated with respect, the city is filled with cafes with superb service.

Warm, cozy, the perfect place to share good times with friends. Small homemade dishes and desserts, or afternoon teas. I go back there every time I pass through.

In this little autumn sun a welcome little tea time. Perfect charming waitress. On the other hand, 9 CHF for the minus chocolate fondant 🍫 tough. But excellent. And it's not possible to pay by card... too bad for these little flaws.

We had dinner after the 6th hour, it was great. Good off-menu suggestions. The Chef knew how to combine Asian taste with the West which was very successful. Congratulations to the whole team.

Perhaps my worst experience ever: wrong cooking of the fish, wrong seasoning, a dead dish, the wine was bad, I couldn't continue eating and finally the waitress made me pay the full price anyway. Shocking!!!

Lovely, trendy and original restaurant where most of the furniture is for sale. Interesting menu for every taste of international specialities. Good offer of wines. The terrace is welcoming and comfortable. Service is friendly.

First and very good experience in this restaurant. We were greeted by the waitress who is smiling and helpful, she explains everything in detail. To start we had the grilled pepper confit, it was delicious. For the starter I had a revisited salmon tartare and for main course suggestions from the chef but I don't remember the name of the fish. For dessert it was an apricot cheesecake which was delicious. The service was truly impeccable and we will come back with great pleasure.

Lovely restaurant with some cool furnitures and lights collection, they also selling them at there. Staffs are super friendly, reminded me my order may be too much for me to finish so I changed it. Food are good, light but tend to keep the original flavor from the gradients. Nice spot to go.

I really liked the place and the staff. Only downside 15 CHF a Schweppes and a lemon tartlet, I must say delicious.. It cooled me down a bit.. A good omen given the heatwave

Great discovery on a Sunday for brunch. Here the atmosphere is retro and the concept of the flea market/café is interesting. Here you can have a drink, eat or brunch on the weekend and leave with the chairs, the table and the decoration. Nice.

Lovely place. They serve tea and other things there, it's a timeless delight. The exact opposite of Starbucks, but is it relevant to compare a lovely hotel with a novotel?

Not bad, the eggs Benedict were quite good, however the pancakes had a pronounced baking soda taste. Like a good lump slipped in and didn't disintegrate. Damage.

Very original and warm place with furniture that you can buy. The new menu is frankly not very varied...the old one was much more indulgent and we miss the goat cheese and sesame rolls...it was a delight. In addition the prices are really excessive: 40 francs for two pieces of guinea fowl and a little puree. In short….I liked going there, but I won’t go back there again!! It’s a shame because the place is very nice and original, but it has become a trap for bobos and no longer a popular place like it was a few years ago.

We came here for brunch on Sunday. They had a good deal of a formule for 28 chfs. I liked the food and it didn't take too long to arrive. I highly recommend booking in advance, as there is limited space, and even with a booking they seemed to struggle to find space for everyone. Still a good time .

Excellent service, excellent surroundings. A varied food which is a perfect mix between traditional dishes and originality... I highly recommend, alone or accompanied...it's just as pleasant!

I didn’t eat there so it’s difficult to comment on the catering! In any case, don't buy furniture there! I bought overpriced floor lamps, which are vulgar copies, which were sold to me for 2* their new price!

Small space with lots of charm. The brunch formula is interesting. I was more seduced by the dishes than by the little jars but overall everything was good. Very smiling and pleasant staff

A concept store if ever there was one, the restaurant is first and foremost a place where you are welcomed and where you eat (and drink) well. Very well even. Deliberately mismatched furniture is therefore to be “taken with you”. Fortunately, we quickly manage to put it aside to enjoy our dishes. PLEASE NOTE: The daily special is served without salad and is even more expensive. Generally speaking, it is better to go there with the intention of having fun, without calculating. We will definitely have a great time there.

It's quite simply the most scandalous place in Geneva in terms of price... 14.- a 6cm diameter pancake!!!! 6.- a small glass of orange juice and all in uncomfortable chairs and tables... I will never set foot there again.

One of the nice spots to sit in Geneva. Although it could do more of the democratic cheap efficiency one may see in Geneva's tea-rooms, McDo or Manor cafeteria, the food is of quality n delicious, albeit the quantity are more of appetizers.

Brunch with friends at the sixth hour, a delight and super friendly waiters. A great place to discover, looking forward to coming back!

Overpriced for the quantity served as well as the almost non-existent friendliness of the staff. After more than 30 minutes of waiting for the desserts, they were way overcooked. In short, if you have time and money to waste, why not?

Had Sunday Brunch (opened on Sunday now). Very good quality, great flavor, nice and efficient service. Good setting. I can only recommend.

Great dishes presentation and atmosphere but unfortunately service is quite rude and overpriced. We ordered some appetizers that where super small (humus) for the price. Unfortunately the “noix de st Jacques” soup was not of our taste.
