Ambience and selection of drinks and cigarettes impeccable. However, in a smoker in this price range you would expect competent, courteous service. It was only after 20 minutes that we were reluctantly led to the cigars, after the drinks order had already been taken with absolutely no emotion. I'd rather not anymore.

Two weeks ago my sister, my colleague and I visited the SOHO in St. Gallen to give my sister a nice insight into St. Gallen. Luckily we ended up in SOHO, a place with great service. We were served by a waiter who is undoubtedly the best we have ever encountered. The Hills was extremely friendly, helpful and humorous. Not only did he ensure that we were all served extremely courteously and promptly (the drinks were equally impressive), but he also spoke perfect English, as my sister doesn't understand German. This made my sister feel particularly well cared for. We would like to thank Hills for this experience and are already looking forward to our next visit to SOHO

Unfortunately, the cigar selection is poor, sometimes only empty packaging. The selection and preparation of cocktails is great.

Very nice bar and good drinks! Four of us were there on a Saturday evening and unfortunately found that the service was very poor and extremely rude. I completely understand that on a Saturday evening it can get crowded very quickly and it's easy to lose track of things. However, I think that with a little more structure you could manage it. Because there are enough waiters on site. But I suspect that they are not divided up well and no one is really responsible for certain tables or feels like they are in charge of the station. Maybe there is a bit of a lack of motivation, because the back tables are usually not really paid attention to…. That's why we had to go to the front of the bar several times to order another round of drinks and also to say that we would like to pay. I then told the waitress my constructive criticism - unfortunately I received a very snippy and annoyed answer... very unfortunate!

Nice with nice music. the drinks were a little bit strong for me. The range of the age 20-25, maximum 30 yo (at least the Saturday night that I have been there). The staff was polite

Every time you visit you wait longer for service. Just before you can place your order, it can take 20 minutes while three employees stand comfortably behind the bar and watch world events. The drinks and cigars are good and varied. When you are served.

Nice location and location in St. Gallen. There is a good separation between the smoking area with cigars and the non-smoking area. The staff is very friendly and quick. The price of the drink is justified. Recommended bar for a cozy evening with a good atmosphere.

Here you will find a very peaceful atmosphere and a beautifully decorated place to have a drink and talk. You can spend hours and not have finished the entire whiskey range. The service is extremely friendly. I can highly recommend it to relax a bit.

The place is soo classy i swear,the interior decor screams class and high end,the services were good,and fast,stuff very friendly. I loved it.

Wait to be surprised! The lounge ambiance, service is perfect, welcoming and chilled then comes the food which was an extreme pleasant surpise... Recommend the Rib-eye steak and an absolute must is the Risotto.

Location is very nice and the drinks are good. Unfortunately the service is very, very bad. Waited 40 minutes for the order. This was forgotten and was then brought twice. I also observed the dissatisfaction of many other guests. In addition, the music is too loud to have a proper conversation. 1-2 steps less would be much more appropriate. A real shame.

The SOHO impresses with a noble atmosphere and good service. Everything is rounded off by the piano player and the lounge/bar. I really like the SOHO, keep it up! I would like to go there again.

Stylish restaurant well located. Chilled music is ideal for winding down after a hard day. Had a beef tartare. It was anything but 0815 and I enjoyed it 👍. Super nice service rounds everything off. I will definitely come back.

Very nice staff, good service and delicious drinks. We enjoyed being here. Rather quiet during the week, busy on the weekend. For larger groups, a reservation may be recommended. Many thanks to Hills for the nice hospitality.

I absolutely love this bar. The staff feels like family, they are very welcoming and friendly. The drink service is above standard. Any bar can serve drinks but the standards are always exceeded when the staff is incredible like at Soho. Definitely recommend.

Service not very competent. When asked which gin she could recommend, they are all good... I wanted to try my gin pure first and still filled it with tonic straight away. Atmosphere in the restaurant is ok, prices are reasonable.

Cozy bar, good drinks served by competent, international service staff, but everyone speaks German very well! Ambiance is A1.

Beautifully furnished, spacious lounge/bar. Comfortable chairs (we sat downstairs at the large table), beautifully presented drinks. There is also WiFi access - very nice! The music changed every now and then. No idea who was responsible for the music but it didn't seem like there was a concept for it. It also suddenly became loud and then quiet again... well, there is still room for improvement here. We loved the reading opportunities that exist to spend time here. Location is a bit hidden behind the market square in St Gallen. I think it was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon.

Nice atmosphere, food & drinks expensive but tasty. However, me and my companion were told that we were not allowed to sit on the couch because there was only room for 4 or more people. I then suggested that we could sit somewhere else if a group of four showed up. Was rejected, we had to go somewhere else. The space was then unoccupied the entire time. Not particularly customer friendly.

Great service! There was a super cool, nice, cheerful and cheerful bartender! Great job done! Competent, happy shaking drinks, beaming smile on your face all the time, what more could you want in a bar? Thanks!! Keep it up! and of course the drinks were delicious! :-)

Very bad service. 7 employees behind the bar who are just chatting non-stop. Very long wait for the bill. Ambience quite nice. Coffee ok.

We found out about the new bar through our circle of friends and of course we wanted to visit this apparently “promising” bar. Said and done. At first we were very positively impressed - we were greeted at the entrance by a nice lady - the whole atmosphere was really excellent - the first drink was also served quickly. We enjoyed a cigar to the fullest in a high-quality and elegant smoker with a warm atmosphere. Unfortunately, ordering the drink didn't work straight away; instead of Lillet Berry I got a gin. The lady simply served me the drink I wanted afterwards. So far so good - after the cigar on the upper floor of the restaurant - we decided to order another drink and consume it on the lower floor. Service late in the evening was a disaster. The waiter cleared the table next door and gave us the used napkins - yes, you read it right! I put the napkins provocatively to the side in the hope that he would clear them away. He brought us the drinks and wanted to serve us the napkins with pina colada and red lipstick stains again. 😩 I then drew his attention - without a “äxgüse” he took it onto his shelf. However, we didn't get any other napkins. 😊 My companion wanted to order a coffee, to which he was told that hot drinks would no longer be offered after 9 p.m. We took note of this and were able to understand this decision well. I also wanted to order a tartare to satisfy my hunger. The service staff pointed out to me that this was unfortunately no longer possible - it was a shame but also understood. 10 minutes later, a guest two tables next door was served a tartare and even a coffee. 🤔 Hey, how does that work? Here too we got an answer and that this table was served by a new MA who apparently was never properly briefed. By the way, we were given two shots as an excuse to mention this. All in all, a nice restaurant but very great potential in terms of service and staff management. A pity! Of course, we hope to have a well-rehearsed service team until our next visit.
