The food was simply delicious and the atmosphere was super cozy. My parents were there too and we had a wonderful evening. Can definitely recommend it! 😄🌟

Wonderful restaurant in a quiet location in the district. The food is authentic, fresh and simply delicious. The Fallafel balls are THE insider tip for conceiting in Babaganoush. Splendid. The service is unobtrusively friendly and very attentive. Gladly again!

We had reserved a table on Valentine's Day and had the worst culinary experience ever in Zurich. There were 3 menus to choose from. We were served an entrecôte with fries without asking us. Even though we wanted to eat vegetarian... they had completely forgotten about the aperitif ..which we were served after we were told...at the end the unsympathetic boss wanted to charge us for the entrecôte and the aperos that were offered, which were supposed to be included in the menu. When asked about this, the boss was really aggressive. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this place. The boss should undergo gastronomy training... his staff were not trained at all. And he could only speak very little German, let alone English. A real disaster. Never sun again in Lebanon.. it's really a waste of money

On New Year's Eve we wanted to go to the restaurant, we made a reservation here and they said everything was ready and it had everything, but we were very disappointed with the food, everything was the same, it was old and cold, they only brought starters for the main course, they brought fish for everyone There were 2 of us where we didn't eat fish. We wanted chicken and meat skewers. They said there were no more and when we made a reservation they said it was all. Nobody ate the fish. All tables gave the fish back. No desert. No potatoes. The music was a disaster It was so expensive for what I got. Disappointment from 2022. I'll never eat there again

Fantastic Lebanese food, large portions at affordable prices, very friendly staff, cozy and informal atmosphere in the garden. I eat here regularly and have never been disappointed! I definitely recommend trying the Lebanese coffee, which has cardamon added!

Purchased voucher from Deindeal. Big disappointment.. The waiter told us there were no more starters and desserts since it was already 8:45 p.m. and there was only the main course left!!!!! The waiting time was very long because the restaurant was not full. There is no toilet paper in women's toilets. Also not checked... Never again..

We had to wait over an hour for the food even though the restaurant was almost empty. Except our table, only 1 was occupied. Unfortunately the food didn't taste good at all. The skewers come without a side dish and didn't taste like they were grilled but rather from the pan and were dry. The Fatouch salad was a mixed salad with a little sauce and the Houmus was bitter. All dishes are very overpriced and unfortunately not good. The photos from the last few years on Google are not up to date, the menu looks different.

Waiter never there, true, YouTubeMusic: true and really loud, everything goes on forever: true, the food was OK: true - In short: service and kitchen staff probably experienced a dramatic change, because in 2020 the food was really good and the service was quick & friendly on the way. Service was bad, the waiter was never there, everything took forever (until the menu came, until the food came, until you could pay... and there were only 4 tables occupied). It seems like it's a one man show (is the waiter also the cook?). Atmosphere loveless, music came once from a YouTube video (with advertising for good cold remedies) and then it was turned off again and you heard everything the other tables were saying. The food was ok - some things were very good, others not at all. Under no circumstances should you order chicken (Shishtaouk). It was tough like rubber, not seasoned at all and almost impossible to swallow. Or the potatoes as a side dish - they were probably marinated in garlic for four days. We love garlic, but even that was too much for us. And now the most important thing: a waiter, who sees that the entire food remains almost untouched on the plate, asks if something was wrong. But it just didn't matter. No thanks were given for the visit (after all, we left ~130 francs there). A pity! On an evening when we were able to spontaneously organize childcare and our favorite Lebanese restaurant was fully booked, it was a big disappointment!

was there on my birthday, food wasn't good + everything was brought wrong, not according to our order. The waitress couldn't offer us red or white wine because she didn't know anything about it, we were the only guests and still had to wait a long time for everything?? The waitress had to come back twice after we ordered to ask again what exactly we ordered (she didn't know the menu either). We then paid (without receiving a discount, although we complained) and left. Not even a small gesture or anything even though we made reservations for a birthday. NEVER AGAIN

Yesterday we were in Sonne Lebanon for the first time and ordered mezze for 2. They taste great and are more than big enough. The terrace is very nice, the staff is very nice and helpful. At the end we got a small dessert on the house. We will definitely come again and bring friends with us. We live near the restaurant but have never been there before. Well, you always go towards the center instead of discovering your own neighborhood :) My only criticism: the takeaway packaging. Unfortunately it comes with styrofoam and a plastic bag. This can certainly be optimized. And packing everything really means everything including side dishes/decorative vegetables, parsley etc. :) Next time I'll explain it again :)

We went to get it take away, as always it was excellent and the taste was really good. The lettuce leaves, whole or cut for decoration, are always very fresh. The owner, Mr. Houraibi, is always very friendly and well-positioned.

I'm super happy. After I placed my order, they called me and simply said "sorry we don't have it, can we offer something else?" I also received a gift as a thank you. Really thank you for the professionalism and the human minimum. You can't expect it from the many others.

it was a horrible and disrespectful experience. I never put a review on Google but today I feel I have a duty to do it. the food took 1 hour and 50 minutes to be delivered, they said they would send a free dessert because of the delay and in fact they did not send any, when the food arrived it was completely cold, as if it had done a day before, the food was too thick and completely oily. 2 hours to receive junk food. The hummus and babaganuche were delicious, but it didn't make up for everything else that was awful. (absurd delay, cold, withered and oily food and promises a product and in the end does not send). a pity because we will never ask again. I do not recommend.

Enough space, Clean and wery friendly owner, he explain all dishes and nice vaiter, she is also very friendly and they speak English, German, Arabic, so it's no problem. Prices are normal, but be careful, it's a lot in the dish, so I advise to order two diferent thing and is enough for three people. Or, what i doing, ask owner to prepare a meal for table in Lebanon style you don't be disappointed. It's perfect 10Stars

Very fine Lebanese food. We each order the mezzes and receive a great selection. The garden in particular is a pearl in Altstetten in summer and invites you to linger. Feel free to come back at any time.

Hatte eine Mezze für zwei Personen bestellt. Selbstabholung ist 10 CHF günstiger was sympathisch erschien. Aber Achtung, lassen Sie sich nicht von der Menge (7 Gerichte) täuschen, denn das Essen schmeckt schrecklich!! Es ist alles beim Grossisten eingekauft, Deckel auf und ohne Verbesserung in einen Takeaway-Behälter geklatscht!! Der Hummus, Baba ganoush und Dosengemüse schmeckten weder frisch noch authentisch und hatten nichts mit libanesischem Essen zu tun. Abgesehn von den aufgewärmten TK Produkten (Fleischtaschen, Falafel, Kibbeh Meklieh usw.) war die glatte Petersilie für den Taboulé Salat lieblos durch einen Hexler gejagt und in 1 cm grobe Petersilieblätter mit max 7 Bulgurkörner und mit Zitronensaft Konzentrat hergestellt. Schade, dass so ehrliches und frisches libanesisches Essen so lieblos und industriell hergestellt (vom Grossisten) verkauft werden kann. Jetzt weiss ich auch wieso das Restaurant immer leer ist!!

Nous cherchions un restaurant pour vendredi soir. Nous avons été charmés par la terrasse et avons pris des mezze ( dégustion de 7 différents plats chauds et froids et 5 végétariens) cuisine très fraîche, très bien assaisonnée. Belle découverte.

Sachen bestelltHummus(mehr tahina drin,als kichererbsen) mit angeblicher lammfleischstreifen, kam einfach mit einer drauf geklatschten hackfleisch (fleischsorte undefinierbar vom geschmack).Safiha nur aufgewärmt, hat man am hackfleisch was drin war und am teig gerochenFalafel, geschmackslos,kalt und auch schon vor längerer Zeit vorgekocht gewesen.Nach der Bestellung ging es genau noch 7min. und schon war das "frische und reichhaltige" Essen schon da.Einfach nur traurig das Ganze.Nie wieder.Preisleistung stimmt somit überhaupt nicht.Schaut euch die Bilder genau an und ihr werdet wissen,wovon ich spreche!

I wanted to redeem my DEAL voucher. Because it had expired due to Corona, I tried to find out by email whether this would be a problem for me. No answer, not even after 2 emails. Nobody could be reached by phone either. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We are very disappointed, won't order here anymore. Instead of the ordered Rakakat bil Lahme they delivered Safiha (which is 0.90chf cheaper, btw). The only solution were offered are "we will pay attention next time". And "they are the same" -- but just yesterday we had ordered them both -- so we knew they are different and how they looked and tasted like! As we ordered and wanted Rakakat we insisted to get the correct one delivered -- they agreed, but called us back in around 5 minutes telling that they have no couriers anymore after 22pm.

Delicious and authentic food that is presented in a nice way. Prices are quite cheap as well considering the quality and price range in general in Zürich. The food was extremely good, everything we ordered was fresh and homemade. The host and service were very friendly. The only thing that shocked us in the end was the price; other Lebanese restaurants with the same order would be cheaper. Conclusion: stomach happy and pockets empty
