Super nice service and cute little bar in central Luzern. The staff were really friendly and made a big effort to accommodate us. It is open late in comparison to the rest of Luzern. Totally recommend !

Stopped in by accident and sat down for a drink in the evening. Happily greeted by a little girl that was very helpful. Ordered a bunch of focaccia pizzas as we couldn’t believe how lows priced everything was. Wasn’t sure of the catch. But in 20 minutes the food was delivered in take away bags? But we were able to sit and eat. Beautiful fresh food and pasta. Ordered another few afterwards as they were so nice. Absolute hidden gem when most of Lucerne is extremely over priced average food and service. Highly recommended (I think the food comes from the next door kitchen)

We stopped here for a drink and it's set within a pretty plaza that's very European. It has outdoor seating and the prices are quite reasonable for the location. I highly recommend this gem.

A fantastic place to eat and drink in Lucerne. Jacob was so friendly, and made a beautiful prosciutto, tomato and pesto focaccia. I also think Sopranos is really well priced, having been used to spending over 30 CHF in Switzerland for food - you can eat here for less than 10. A must-visit!

Great place to sit outside and have a few drinks and a bit of food. Did I mention the Red Label Peroni. I did now;) I appreciated the reasonable prices and friendly people.

The condition was very friendly and competent and attentive. The drinks we ordered were served quickly and were cool and the proportion of ice in the drink was very appropriate. The Sopranos Café is an ideal meeting place to end an evening well and is always worth a visit. I would love to come back.

A charming little cafe bar with a cozy and welcoming ambiance . Their beverages and pastries are delicious and service is always friendly and attentive . It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee , tea and / a nice cocktail in a peaceful ambiance. I highly recommend it !

Waited 25 minutes for service, went to the toilet in between and asked at the bar if we had to order inside. No, someone would come out to take the order. One waiter even took the time to have a cigarette; there wasn't really much going on. Went again. Impossible.

I came today March 4th to this bar with my friends, the staff was courteous and nice, the food was very good.

I enjoyed being a customer at this establishment because the atmosphere is very welcoming and the service is spectacular. I ate Panini and it was really tasty. There are several types of drinks here that you should try. I recommend it to everyone. The name Sopranos comes from a highly successful American television series.

Everything OK. We had a drink in this restaurant. Service was friendly, price performance was okay.

On Saturday February 11, 2023, when the Vikings had the warm-up concert, it was anything but hygienic. The staff no longer knew what was clean and dirty when it came to the dishes...they were using used coffee spoons to pour new drinks...unfortunately it was just chaos. Unfortunately the staff was also unfriendly, which was a shame.

Thé best gluewiijn have ever had and I have tried a few + young people behind the bar very friendly nice music the panini with grilled veggies was yummy

Good company, fine espresso and if you're hungry, there's also fine toast. It has become our coffee break; we have been going there with my wife for more than 7 years. Not to forget the employees are always so loving and applause 👏 ❤️ thank you Baschi & Suzi

Pathetic service, it took them forever to bring 4 paninis, I asked for a late and they brought coffee. I'm not going back or crazy.

Nice location in the old town of Lucerne. They have a nice selection of 5 different draft beers which change frequently. The outside area is cozy and nicely decorated and the inside has character as well. The waiter was very friendly but he was a bit slow and it was hard to get our orders placed. Prices are not cheap and we had to go inside to pay, so you are mainly paying for the the location.

Nicely prepared. Water and Hugo were good. But stay away from Croque Monsieur! It's just a lean and dry toast, with ham and cheese. I asked if there was a mistake, and the nice waitress replied that the local Croque Monsieur is like that... that was the most expensive toast I've eaten (only half of it)... I was disappointed

Today I was treated to an extremely excellent double espresso at the "Kafistop" on my road bike tour today. Espresso - probably the best in Switzerland after a few years! Service - friendly, in a good mood, top service! Conclusion - more than recommended!! Definitely again!

Very nice place located close to Kiseleff/1 Mai, excellent coffee (also organic), various flavors and origins. Nicely and cozy decorated, has a large terrasse. Will come again!

Nothing beats sitting in the evening sun looking at the unreal scenery across the river and onto the mountains ahead. Then enjoy a few drinks and Craic with Fred and his team who work so hard but always with a smile and a kind word. It’s one of the best places to visit in Lucerne and we highly recommend it. Looking forward to going back soon. 🤞

Despite Corona, drinks are served here over the counter. We are grateful to be able to drink something nice in the cold. We have been here several times before Covid and feel comfortable.

In the times of Corona and stricter hygiene measures, it is absolutely unacceptable if you discover lipstick from the previous consumer on your coffee cup. The service was also so convenient that we had to get the new cup inside. Is it too much to ask to at least bring the cup to the table, let alone apologize? 1 time and never again. And something like that in a city that currently relies on the locals. No go! One star goes to the chilled beer, the only pulse point.

I was happy to spend my lunch break in the sun at Mühleplatz. I don't know why I had the pleasure of being served outside. But I still got a panini and a coke. The mood of the lady who served me fluctuated between OK and please don't talk to me. Several guests were waiting to be served. When politely asked if they could order, the answer was: get it yourself. At the next table the ladies were told in a really harsh tone: they can wait a long time for their order, I won't serve. How rude. The fact that this is self-service is not communicated anywhere. There are two other restaurants on this square where I see friendly staff and all tables are occupied. All guests have now left without consuming. I strongly recommend rethinking the concept and its implementation.

It's small, but situated nicely. And also it has good drinks and a good atmosphere.

Never again! We sat outside for ages because there was no sign saying it was self-service. When we arrived at the bar, the next disappointment came: No card payment was possible. It was written on a small board on the bar. The service employee was unfriendly and probably didn't feel like working. The “hot chocolate” was hot milk and a bag of powder to mix in yourself. The cappuccino had cinnamon on top without anyone asking. The glass with the orange juice was only 2/3 full. For CHF 19.40 it's just miserable. Of course there was no receipt/receipt either. Edit: There were 2 cappuccinos, 1 orange juice and a "hot chocolate". If there had been a receipt, I could have told you exactly what was charged.

Well... On Saturday you have to order at the bar because there aren't enough staff. And you're being a bit rude :) I can understand certain recessions here. Came into the bar and the long-established barmaid was on the phone and asked me what I wanted. I wasn't comfortable ordering like that. It wasn't exactly busy when I came in, so I don't understand why you don't put the phone down when there's a customer who's been sitting outside for 15 minutes waiting to be served. She knew that I was sitting outside and didn't care... Yesterday I was here too and there was service outside. So I assumed it was like it was on Friday...and when I was inside I ordered and told the barmaid that I didn't want to leave my purchase and backpack unattended and that under these circumstances I wouldn't be coming back on Saturday, she told me, that it was okay because of the things. I can take the coffee with me straight away... So I waited at the bar... stressed out and constantly looking outside because of an incompetent person. She wants to GUARANTEE the security of MY POSSESSION AND PROPERTY OR HOW?? It seems like you don't care about new customers. Tourists already pay and are your daily bread, i.e. daily business. Those who have known you for years are treated well. I'm new here in town and will definitely not come to your place again and pay 4.80 for a cappuccino without service. Should I come in with my things, order what I ordered and carry my things out and open the door by myself??? Are you crazy?? The sun came out and I wanted to enjoy the drink on the square... As a host I would be ashamed... your daffodils on the tables need water... when I look over at the restaurant opposite where I was last week I was with my mother and saw the people...everyone was happy and the restaurant was doing well. There must be a good reason why only a few locals come to your place :)

(Because my anger is still so great and also at the request of the managing director, here is the complete version) Last Saturday I ordered a chai latte for my wife, but instead of the bartender simply serving it, he had to express his dislike of the drink to me in a very personal way. I also ordered a Chivas and asked him to add an ice cube - unfortunately I received a completely watered down whiskey that contained eight (!) ice cubes (where can you get something like that??). To make matters worse, he actually seemed to be on drugs (not drunk!) and that was already around 7:15 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. (!). His eyes were wide, his eyes crossed alarmingly, and he couldn't stand straight on his feet. As expected, the failed attempt to pour the drink rounded off his incompetent appearance, as he spilled half of it due to his twitching. While we were sitting outside, he also came out every now and then and "danced(?)" in a disturbing way when he wasn't running after various women. Our mood was in the basement because of this waste of time. I would have felt better if I had thrown the money in the trash! Management would be well advised to immediately terminate the employment relationship for this unmotivated unreasonable behavior. P.S.: Unfortunately I cannot answer the question of who this person is. I can only describe her as an almost bald, darkly dressed man, in his early 40s, who was on shift last Saturday evening (October 6, '18) at around 8:30.
