It's a small but cozy cafe. Pastries are very fine and there are also original gifts, for example. The Zurich Lion made of chocolate.

I'm tired from walking and want to take a coffee break! The clerk kindly ordered my food and kept me in a good mood. The clerk is handsome

We ate breakfast, two sandwiches and coffee cost us NIS 90. Prices like in Israel. But the sandwiches were delicious at a really high level. We took a salmon sandwich in a bagel and a parmesan and arugula sandwich in focaccia and they were some of the tastiest sandwiches we've eaten.

Food is ok, staff are ok, nothing special, if you want a fast service/to go food, consider this.

We stopped here to warm up a little after a freezing walk through the Christmas markets. It's a comfortable self-service bakery/cafe, with sofas at the back of the room so the little girl continued to sleep undisturbed. I give five stars because when I asked if there were vegan desserts to have with the coffee, they actually had some delicious vegan biscuits which we all took.

Staff is really very friendly. Coffee, croissants and rolls are top. There is even a breakfast option.

The best patisserie around here 🫶 There are many sandwich and croissant options for breakfast. They are all very delicious. I think it's the only place in Zurich with polite employees. The seating area is also spacious and beautifully decorated. They definitely deserve 5 stars and more comments.

The location of this bakery and the building are truly stunning! The large window allows you to peek at the products on display. The interior of the place is simple and clean. You can buy different types of breads and desserts, as well as salads and hot or cold drinks. All the products are very classic but of good quality and with local raw materials. Inside there are some tables where you can consume their delights. The staff seemed a little disorganized but friendly.

Okay baked goods. Very unfriendly staff. Our second day in Switzerland from Austria and made me think that Swiss people don’t smile at all. Also, this business is not friendly towards children.

Sunday supposedly open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.!? It's also on the internet! Apparently confirmed by the owner 2 weeks ago!? So today September 18th, 2022 was CLOSED... Went into town to have breakfast... I then went somewhere! I've been a St.Jakob-Beck customer since the beginning (when EVERYTHING was still on Rechtsanwältestrasse), and I'm very disappointed.

As portuguese people, my girlfriend and I love coffee, specially espresso. We order two and they failed that. But on the other hand, the space is beautifully decorated and people are really nice and welcoming! Hopefully the espresso skills will improve and we will return for a second try 😉
