Extremely expensive; but on the first floor there are lots of nice seats (for working or chilling) and a toilet.

Nice waiters. Tables full of cups, dirty with no place to sit. No one stops by to clean and pick up a bit. The bathrooms are disgusting because they are dirty.

Starbucks was closed several times even though it clearly says it's open until 8 p.m. In addition, the employees at this Starbucks are very unfriendly!!

I ordered on ubereat with a specific direction to my drink which eneded up totally ignored but still had to pay for all the extra, ordered DECAF mocha with vanilla syrup and mocha sauce on top (and the reason for decaf was because of pregnancy) i was given a caffeine mocha, no hint of vanilla syrup in it, and definitely without whip cream on top nor the mocha syrup i paid for already. As for the 2nd drink, it was a cold brew with a shot of milk and vanilla syrup, only to get a classic cold brew without anything that i requested to be added, who ever made my drink 13.01.2024 at 13:54 i hope you will pay me ATLEAST back my topping. I hope the boycott will close such greedy coffee shops very soon :)

The barman said that he didn't have 4 hands and could not serve 4 coffees at the same time even though nobody asked. Crazy drugs and a typically arrogant place where 4 small blacked coffees will cost you over 70 USD.

Located in Claraplatz, with large spaces at the top, it is an excellent option for the cold season because with its delicious coffee it is impossible not to warm up, obviously the price is a little higher like everything in Switzerland

I just stopped to this branch of Starbucks in basel. I'm a foreigner in there. So I just thought like in my country or in any other Starbucks I'd been, you know will be the same. But unfortunately not. So when I go inside, I go straight to the counter coz I saw what I've been looking for inside is inside the counter. This special mug of the country. So I asked the staff(man) in the cashier. I asked him very clearly. If I can have the Switzerland mug. He said what? So I repeated it, can have the Switzerland mug. He said no we don't have. Then I said the Switzerland mug while pointing to the mug up there inside the counter. Then he told me it's there while pointing at my back. It's in the middle of the store. And I said oh I didn't saw it. Then I took 1 mug and gave to him and asked the cashier if they accepting euro. Then he said we only accept Cash or card. Then I repeat again if they accept euro cash. Then he said he need to take the cash first for him to convert to franks. In my mind this crew don't know how to clearly works in a service industry. That's why I'm giving this branch a negative. Because the staff needs to be train before the go in front of the customer

doesn't even deserve one star! The reason for this; the employee or shift manager named Esra. Went to Starbucks today to get a coffee. I waited in line (there were no customers in front of me) for my cafe. In front of me, Esra and one of his colleagues were really having fun and making faxes. I didn't think anything of it and waited another minute for my cafe. But when I noticed that "nothing" was being done, I asked if it was really that long (in the end I didn't order a shake or something similar that needed time to prepare it.) Then the shocking behavior. Without anything (at least an apology) she took the cafe and placed it in front of me! I was at a loss for words and was shocked. My cafe was probably ready for 2-3 minutes and I still had to watch the show, how they were just having fun as if there were no customers there. Really unprofessional! Thanks for nothing.

Friendly staff but the quality of croissant was very bland and the cappuccino is maybe the worst I’ve ever had. So bad that I felt I had to go out of my way to write this review (I normally don’t bother with negative reviews).

I finally got a large cup of coffee! After six months of ordering "the biggest coffee you have" and still only getting small cups, Starbucks actually had big ones! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. It was also surprisingly spacious inside. Lots of tables and a second floor as well.

There was hardly a cleared and clean table on the upper floor. There were crumbs on the tables and chairs. With the espresso there was a "plastic cup" of water. I think water is great with espresso, but why not use a “glass” for it? In this day and age, that should be self-evident. For so many defects, this self-service shop is simply too expensive for me.

I don't know about the food but drinks are nice with good atmosphere. However the toilets are clean but small.

A very pleasant cafe in a very nice location on the Kleinbasel side, which is the newer part of Basel, 2 minutes walking distance from Mittlerebrucke and the river. Both floors were beautifully decorated. Of course, coffees are at Swiss prices.

The hot chocolate was lukewarm. The sweets were fresh and tasty. It has a lot of seats because it has two floors.

Unfortunately there are no gluten free products, very disappointing!

Very stressed “employees/service” even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant… (Sat. 08:45) Tables were not cleared and were not cleared or cleaned during our entire stay. I visited this Starbucks to have a coffee in the morning and I found a great customer service, good coffee and good looking premises. I would highly recommend this store and Starbucks in general. Very consistent across locations and the service is always pretty good. Will definitely be back.
