Starbucks in Lausanne

I went to this Starbucks on Tuesday 03/26/2024 at 7:00 p.m. The person who served us was very unprofessional. First of all we waited 5 minutes before she served us even though there was no one there. Madame was looking at her Instagram notifications.. When she finally decided to raise her head to serve us, not even a good evening, not a word from the whole service, even when giving the drink she just placed it on the counter without say a word, before returning to the phone. Frankly, if she doesn't like her job, she should do something else.

Keeping good standard plus good music choice

I ordered via the app. It took 10 minutes before my order (1 cappuccino + 1 lemon cake) was ready... There weren't many people and 3 employees... In short, things don't necessarily go any faster with the app...

When you ask the barista for information about coffee because I didn't know which one to take and she tells you that she doesn't know anything about it...unheard of for a barista...and when I tell her said with humor "luckily you work at Starbucks ;]" she rep. “Well yes…” I find it unacceptable that a barista at Starbucks cannot answer such a basic question in his field. Very bad attitude on his part.. not even sorry I don't know I'll ask... and I know what I'm talking about I'm a saleswoman. A little questioning for this young woman would be welcome 😉

- Terrible service. Cockroaches in the establishment, dirty toilets,... and superiors who talk badly about their employees in front of customers. Never again, I'll set foot there!!!!!!

Highly sugary drinks that are very bad for your health To avoid

01/04/2024 6:50 a.m. Starbucks is still not open (opening hours 6:30 a.m.). The two team members clearly see two potential customers at the door in the cold and ignore them, to continue setting up, apparently done much too late.

Good products because they are universal in all Starbucks but the two baristas on duty on January 1, 2024 around 5:30 p.m. were simply detestable. My drinks were placed on the counter while I was waiting in front and then blamed for waiting when I wasn't even called. (They were placed for a long time without me seeing them). Then I was asked very sharply not to touch the lids if I'm not sure it's mine (adding "well yeah" at the end). As a French person I deplore our reputation as complainers but here these two people gave a terrible image of the Swiss)

Ordered 3 drinks and a focaccia today, regrettable service, I say it's takeaway, we don't put a bag in, have to ask twice and they send me a bag with a holder for 2 drinks... without any words. . regrettable the barista... who allows himself to call his colleague while raising his voice to everyone, me who works opposite and who comes practically 3/4 times a week, saddening...

Very well served and their hot chocolate is very good 👍

October 24, 2023: perfectly terrible service and overpriced prices, a place to avoid at all costs.

THE FURNACE ON SUNDAY! I went there at 5:00 p.m. Sunday October 22. Upon entering the café we see that the customers have to put on T-shirts to be comfortable and that the baristi are dripping with sweat. If you plan to go on Sunday, prepare summer clothes to change into on site. Incomprehensible and a shame, everything else is great!

The drinks are always perfectly prepared by Marc, and with a big smile. Extra! Starbucks in St François.

Marc is the best barista, he handles whipped cream like no other

Staff are not adamant at all to help in cleaning disgusting tables. Neither to do nor to give tools to do so. No care nor priority for health and salubrity!

The products are too sweet and artificial, both drinks and snacks...it remains very industrial and "soulless". “Cold” and impersonal atmosphere with chain service.. Personally, I prefer the warm atmosphere of small tea rooms with their quality artisanal products.

Several days that I come there, the welcome is cold. The cashier doesn't even have a smile, she speaks dryly, especially you don't have to say anything to her to lighten the mood, she takes things very dryly. The café on the coast is nicer, too bad it doesn't open before 6:30

The Starbucks Café on Place Saint François. The interiors of Starbucks Café are always appreciable. Very beautiful interior architecture. A very nice menu choice. We're talking about the menu, the cafe menu. A black coffee or a latte. Latte is a drop of milk. Less than a centiliter. And for a little, the prices are inflating like this is not allowed. We go from espresso, at a more or less reasonable price for downtown Lausanne, to Cappuccino, which costs almost twice as much. For a drop of milk and a spoonful of coffee powder.

Way too expensive for what it is. And seriously, cold pancakes, with cold melted chocolate, have you seen that or? It’s supposed to be eaten hot, right? Because it's inedible...

Friendly comfortable cozy, great choice of coffee

Overpriced and low quality coffee with a dirty place to seat. The only good thing about Starbucks is that we could seat and work or read for long time but the temperature in this one was wayyy to high, unbearable, so it is not possible to seat for a long time.

The atmosphere is cozy, the drinks are not bad, even if they are full of ice cubes... but the cookies are really to be avoided, feeling like eating cardboard.

The coffee is good there. Average service. But the prices ouch... We see that we pay for the brand...

We were there because we were on a Christmas market tour and we stopped to enjoy a cappuccino. The bathrooms were clean, use the code that is on the purchase receipt. We were also there on the terrace because our pet accompanies us.

Miss more chairs and table but this is the coziest place of the whole Riviera

The coffee is good as usual, however from a hygene level it is catastrophic. No one to clean the tables, i believe they are understaffed … Starbucks is not anymore what it used to be. Hopefully someone will address this problem, given that COVID restrictions were removed for a while and people are going out much more now.

A tall, dark-haired, condescending manager who has no respect for his employees... what I have seen and heard (twice now) is close to mobbing and I am shocked to see that this type of behavior is accepted.

two women served me and they were very friendly, on the other hand a tall dark man was very haughty and had facial expressions where he showed that he was annoyed by any comments... it's a shame because this cafe is very charming...

Really disappointing the worst Starbucks I've had in Switzerland, I think it's the manager (brown man) doesn't serve properly he's haughty, doesn't say hello or goodbye, and lacks respect for his teammates and puts them stress. On the other hand, I went back when he wasn't there and it's great, we feel like the employees are much better. And strangely it goes faster. Oh yes, even his drinks he doesn't know how to make them, my colleague had to bring back his frappuccinos at least 3 times because they are not good as soon as they are made by him. But he blames his teammates. In short, it sucks 👎🏼

Cool and well known place in Lausanne. Ideal for a short break between 2 shops, their special seasons are always just as good

They don't have coffee, as in "drip coffee". I tried ordering one but unfortunately that's not on the menu of this Starbucks. The place seems nice and the staff is friendly, but not having "just coffee" is a quite daring for a Starbucks :-/

Rating this relative to other Starbucks I've been to and not coffee shops in general. It has a much nicer atmosphere as well as a more enjoyable view and seating outside compared to the other Starbucks in Lausanne

an espresso CHF 4.90 and asks where the toilets are...illegible keyboard keys no soap...dirty cup and spoon chipped saucer arrogantly from the waiter.....magnificent where are we going... if this is the quality....not recommended, too bad nespresso right next door is closed

Starbucks has always been delicious and the service is quick and wonderful

Starbucks is always Starbucks, with adaptations to different countries. What makes a Starbucks for me are the employees and in this the spirit, at least on this day (01/15/2022) in the afternoon, was not there! The guy at the cashier left his friendliness somewhere, even being a little arrogant when I asked him to rinse my daughter's pacifier after it fell on the floor. I ordered a large white Mocca to drink in the store, the mug was large but there was a tall one inside. For those who know Starbucks' spirit and way of working well, there are small details that are essential and should not be missed! It was minimally acceptable.

There is a dear gentleman in this cafe who is very rude, arrogant and who puts his employees in place in front of the customers! I will never return to this Starbucks! I ask for a towel, he asks me to put on a mask in a super rude way! I don't recommend.

12/28/2021 around 2:30 p.m. Icy welcome at the checkout from a young man. Fortunately the lady who prepared the drinks was very helpful. Table not cleaned.

Poor service, staff are disrespectful. The drinks were served in a miserable manner. For the price you pay you don't expect the drink to drip from all sides of the cup. The barista: “it’s leaking a little, you’ll excuse me” the hot chocolates were literally dripping to the point where you couldn’t hold the cup.

Slowness when you hold us. Not the thunderbolts of war and it's starting to be ridiculous to always ask for names in Starbucks. They say it's to have a closer "relationship", but given the anger the staff gets, you don't really want to be close by giving your name. Besides, I always make up names......

The quality of service has declined significantly this past year in Saint-François. We are accustomed to better things in terms of the speed of the baristas or the agility of the people at the cash register.

Always nice to stop at Starbucks for a coffee during a day of shopping. On the other hand, the fairly high prices don't make you want to go there too often...

Really? This fish is not fresh. Thin layer of salmon on a dry bagel is not what I’d expect from the Starbucks company. Very disappointing, you can do better. Actually anybody can, since there’s nothing difficult about this recipe..

I don't know if it's due to Covid and minimum service. But lackadaisical service, doesn't remember what we ordered. Too much familiarity: exaggerated informality. I've been there several times but this is the first time I've had this welcome.
