Thaï Away in Lausanne

Nice surprise when I wanted to eat a little exotic at Flon... The Chicken and Salmon Poke were incredible, well balanced and super fresh with lots of taste! The marriage of salmon, mango and avocados with their sauce was just perfect, a discovery! Fast and friendly service, but more fast food and casual atmosphere than a restaurant where you can relax. To try if you want to eat very well quickly and above all well!

Dear Thai Away or Tasty Korea, difficult to know in this case. Indeed, I order from Tasty Korea and the contact number is at Thai Away. This clearly gives confidence to the customer... An order placed at 12:04 p.m. and delivered at 1:23 p.m. is clearly not up to par. If only you took the trouble to answer the phone when the customer calls you to ask for news, but even then you fail to do the job. It's very sad because your cooking is really good. Clearly, this is the last time I order anything from you.

Very good, but very expensive… 24.50 CHF for a portion of rice and beef with vegetables (student menu). Lunch is expensive...

Efficient staff and right in the center but the price-quality ratio isn't to great, would have liked slightly hotter food and more. Our waitress was friendly though

A huge joke, even a deception: your order arrives halfway (the most expensive dishes are missing, as if by chance...), you call the Uber delivery girl, she picks up, but doesn't answer, so you hang up and you call the restaurant, who asks you to "recommend just one small dish" on their site so that they can give the balance of your previous order at the same time! Serious ! Ah yes, in fact, it's an oversight, eh... an error... Super credible given the ready-made "solution" that they were able to provide. In addition, the three unfortunate dishes served were really not good: the Pad Thai was bland and overcooked, the Fried Wontons are 98% pasta and the skewers are tiny. In short, absolutely avoid.

1 hour wait for a wrap and an ice tea, be ready to reach!

Quite an experience. The screens are turned off on Sunday apparently (to save money?), Not practical for making your choice... I order a tofu wrap, well 15 minutes of waiting, it's a long time... The wrap is hot despite the cardboard protection, the sauce is dripping everywhere, I can't walk with it in my hand, it's impossible to eat, plus the aluminum foil is stuck to the wrap. A butcher shop. In terms of taste, we don't recognize any ingredient because everything is drowned in the rice and the sauce. For 14fr go look elsewhere.

We ordered at like 11pm, and the food tasted fresh! The rice was amazing!! My only issue was with the cabbage that was pickled, i didn’t really like it. 5 stars for having it this fresh 6 minutes before it closes on uber eats, and for being one of the few restaurants that deliver at that time in Lausanne!

I have been coming to Thai Away regularly since it opened, never disappointed. But for several months the quality has declined, the rice very very cold, tapioca not cooked, the crispy tofu full of water... Too bad it was the best pokebowl in Lausanne, I hope the cook from the beginning will come back soon 🙏🏻🥺

Very practical Asian-inspired take away. The dishes are fresh, tasty and plentiful; and delivery is very fast. Several vegetarian options with tofu: for example maki, poké bowl, noodles, wrap. I like the sweet and salty side of certain dishes. Downside: as a vegetarian, all dishes contain roughly the same ingredients and taste the same, a little more diversity would be welcome 🙏

I came at the time with my wife and we found the concept interesting, especially with the green wraps 😛🤩 but... for a few months the green wrap has no longer been made and the cooking no longer has the same taste as before .. too bad it wasn't bad before 🙄

I really liked this place, especially the waitress with slightly curly brown hair, she was very nice if anyone had her number

The Kai Thai is very good, a little expensive but profitable with the Uber Eat 2 for the price of one offer. Considering the other comments, I had no digestion problems at all and the quality was there.

Food poisoning ended one night in the emergency room after eating a takeaway from this restaurant. But is this the “consequence”? In any case never again... well I think they must have been contacted by the cantonal doctor since I was... to be continued

Great staff, smiling and caring. The dishes are delicious and well priced. A large choice of menus as well as the possibility of sitting in the restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal. The staff is diverse and inclusive!! A milestone in the advancement of acceptance for all! I was served several times by Célestine and Léa whether for takeaway or on site and it was a 10/10 :)

Reading some of the comments, I'm almost relieved that we were never delivered... Ordered for 4 with Uber Eat: delivery never received.

The PadThai is very very bad. No vegetables and only soy sauce for seasoning. Just rice noodles stuck together and chicken. Straight into the trash

Very nice people. We wanted to eat quickly before the spectacle. We asked if we could eat something in half an hour. 15 minutes later food and drinks were on our table. Delicious.

We have ordered food from this restaurant three times, always very satisfied. Quickly prepared tasty food, large portions.

Ordered a chicken pancake, it had no taste (although, a rancid taste) it was very heavy, the pancake was soaked and almost inedible

lazy staff, they took 15min to prepare a simple order while they were chit-chating with each others

The pokebowl is hearty but the mayonnaise sauce for the poke is heavy on the stomach and too greasy!!! What a pity.

Do you want fresh, quality sushi and DELICIOUS Sushi? Come here. The only place where I enjoy eating wasabi and gengimbre. The sushi with avocado is just killer and let's not talk about the salmon which is tender and tasty 😍 honestly a pleasure! I order with Uber eats and NEVER disappointed

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Ordered with Uber eat and I was not fully refunded! It was inedible and I got sick for 2 days!

The pancakes are plentiful. It’s a shame that the chicken ones are made from Brazilian chicken and not Swiss.

Hello, I came back from the dead to write this review. Big portions.. It was so big I loved it (that's what she said). However, the balls were a bit too mushy for my taste. But I still enjoyed the white liquid it was yummy in the bubble tea. Will definitely order your exciting services again. Very soon... ;) I like turtles btw.

The welcome is warm, the dishes and pancakes are very generous and succulent. the prices are really fair. The best bubble tea for me. Ideal for takeaway. I put it in my favorites!

Best bubble tea in Lausanne by far

Ordered. It arrived very quickly - one, very tasty - two, great price - three. Regarding myself, I should note: I’m not a sushi connoisseur, I’m just a lover of tasty food; and a set of 12 sushi or sashimi - I don’t know the difference - was very tasty. And I, a 54 kg girl, started to eat up already on the 10th and finally became full already on the 12th. In a word, thank you, Thaï Away, very much.

Sushi not good at all! Ok poke. I ordered via Uber Eats, the sushi was inedible, the poke was okay but nothing more.

We ordered through Uber Eats and everything was absolutely delicious! Sushi, rices dishes, sauces and starters spot on. Not only that but also very quickly delivered and very beautifuly plated, even for delivery. Can highly recommend and we are very sad that this place doesnt exist in Zürich as well :)
