Nice Starbucks branch, nice ambience and the service is good

My favorite Starbucks products are the Chai Latte, the Lemon Rhasberry Muffin, the Belgian Waffles and the Vegan Superfood Granola with Nuts. Everything was very nice and highly recommended. I also like your bonus program.

I got seriously injured as a barista there, leaving me with health issues lasting more than 4 months long. Their accident insurance has refused to help with the numerous bills I now have. I no longer work there. I am still in daily pain and can no longer afford physio-therapy for my injury, which occured AT THEIR STORE, during my shift, as a DIRECT result of their ignorance. I worked there for almost 4 years and can honestly say it was one of the top worst experiences of my life. And now I am (possibly permanently?) disabled as a result, with no decent apology from the shift supervisor who hurt me, and no support for the medical bills I now have.

The staff understood our order wrong, which is completely fine. But when we told so, their attitude was just horrible and was in an accusing manner. Didnt like it sorry.

Today i had went to Starbucks in Centralbahnhoff SBB Basel,Switzerland... And i had ordered 2 hot chocolates at 4:44 PM on 26-12-2023, The cashier had given me the wrong order when i clearly and loudly stated that i wanted a "Venti Hot Chocolate" x2 and he had given me 2 lattes... He then took my money and THREW the change at me, he did not hand it to me, he threw it at me... When i had went to receive my order i politely stated to the shift supervisor Liri that i had ordered 2 venti hot chocolates, she stated that i did not and that she heard the conversation between myself and the cashier and i stated that i infact ordered hot chocolates... she did not even give me a sorry or acknowledge my grievances. she simply shoved the hot chocolates at me and sent me on my way...... I will be sending this email straight to starbucks corporate and posting it as a review.... This behavior is holely unacceptable especially from a supervisor and the fact that she did not even reprimand the worker for throwing the change at me is absolutely astonishing.

From Basel, accessible by train transfer A great cafe to relax with a cup of coffee. If you are familiar with Starbucks This place will be a good resting place. The staff are friendly, There are not only inside seats but also outside seats. You can relax as much as you want. The bathroom is located in the basement.

The café wasn't really good, the staff was kind although we had to clean our table as all 3-4 free tables were full of mugs.

The ambience of this Starbucks used to be more pleasant. The guests probably stayed too long. The Carrot Cake and Toofee Nut Latte were very good. Patience is required when ordering

I got a latte 5 minutes ago and the coffee was so hot it burned my mouth. I find it a pity. A latte that costs 6.50 should be of a certain quality. If the barista doesn't know what temperature the coffee should be, then you would have to use a thermometer.

I would like to start off with the food, this food (made by chinese children) was absolutely terrible. I know these children have only been able to make noodles their entire life but seriously? come on, my little cousin from germany could do better. Anyways, when i was finished i did have to eat half of the chinese child to compensate for the terrible food. Onto the Service, this was terrible as i had to make sure my ears were clean, they called my name out “king ohio rizzler grimace shake” ‘that can’t be me’ oh no that cannot, first of all im not from ohio, im from russia, anyways i realised it was my drink and saw the other half of the chinese kid i ate had spat in it, so i ate his brother. The atmosphere as absolutely amazing, as i saw an old lady get robbed by two big guys, as they emptied out her haribo (truly heartbreaking) and then beat her until her liver came out of her belly. over all i would give this a 3 stars but the chinese kid was tasty so i will add one more star

We had a Frappuccino and a coffee. The service was fast. There was a mistake in the first name, it's customary in this brand but it's not a big deal. The atmosphere was normal. Tables moderately clean. But the products were top notch!

Very overpriced! 21.-- for a hot coffee and a cold coffee, which consisted of a mug full of ice cubes and a bit of coffee flavor. Luckily, there are many great alternatives for a good drink in Basel.

We always come back because they are friendly and the service is fast. However, there is a lack of cleanliness, dirty tables and people leave everything on the tables and overflowing trash cans, too bad.

Was there yesterday. Horrible puddle and that for 8.90. Staff very unfriendly. In Denner there is a ready-made coffee for 1.- that tastes exactly the same. Then I'd rather have someone like that. And you don't have to wait a full quarter of an hour (3 people in front of me).

Staff that hardly speaks German Coffee only tastes mediocre, tea is okay. Belongs to Nestle, avoid if possible.

Plastic or disposable cups as standard. If you want a cup, people look at you in disbelief. Really unbearable...everything that is preached about sustainability in advertising is just marketing nonsense. The environmental awareness of those in the Starbucks store is ZERO. Starbucks was always cool, but when it comes to sustainability, I can no longer support that. Bye...

Ordered 2 salmon bagels via ubereats from this Starbucks and while i got the bagels, most of the salmon was missing. If they ran out of salom i would expect to get a refund on the order or something.. and not a bagel filled with the last few scraps found.

It's a Starbucks! Always the same solid experience.

35 minutes to get one lousy drink is unacceptable. Of course I would have left (like many other costumers did) but curiosity kept me. Around 10:30 with only 5 people before me and still the 2 workers behind the counter couldn’t manage. They looked bored and so unbothered. And even so they still couldn’t get one order right. I ordered a tall decaf caramel Frappuccino and they charged me for a grande one possibly with caffeine (since the decaf box wasn’t checked on the cup) Usually I am not so picky cause mistakes can be made. But this whole experience was unacceptable and so not Starbucks like. It wasn’t the first time in this specific location that my experience was unsatisfactory. Either train your staff better or hire people who have a clue!

I usually never go to Starbucks (certainly never again in Switzerland after today) with the exception of today because my colleagues wanted to treat themselves to a coffee there. I ordered first after a long wait. While waiting for my order, I quickly realized that the two people behind the counter were new and didn't have much idea. Suddenly the boss came and the boy wanted to ask her something but she said she didn't have time and left. After I got my coffee after waiting 5 minutes, my colleagues left the checkout after waiting another 10 minutes because the 2 workers were only preparing online orders. I'm really disappointed with this restaurant, but especially with the boss. Too expensive for the water you get there as coffee.

Unfortunately understaffed, only 2 people at 5pm, when everyone is getting off work/school and wants a coffee or refreshment therefor the line wasn't moving and even though I had 30min to catch my train, I still couldn't even get close to the register on time, I walked out. A great shame but not necessarily surprising, seeing that they have job offers up all the time for this place. Not the workers fault of course but like I said, shame.

We were there again today at 1 p.m. and never again. The young lady was so cheeky & aggressive just because she prepared the drink incorrectly twice. It's a shame, we were there almost every day...

It was very calm, very clean areas, the staff is super kind and very quick service.

Caramel drizzle was made over my latte macchiato with soy milk... well meant, very stupid if you're lactose intolerant...

All in all exactly what Starbucks promises and perfect except for one point. However, when the hourly toilet check at 9:30 a.m. is already checked off as OK until 12 p.m., you wonder whether the actual cleaning is even briefly... well, you understand my train of thought.

Cappuccino was quite thin and the sockets don't work. Actually, good drinks and standard amenities should be Starbucks’ business case… Service was good.

Very convenient for the main station and the English breakfast tea is always welcome. Oh, and cake 😊

The value for money is not there, and it’s not good at all

Just been to this Starbucks outlet a week ago to have a coffee while going into my conference calls. The staff was friendly and it took as long as it usually takes at Starbucks to get my coffee. That was okay. What was disturbing was the noise when you want to work at such a place. I mean I've been working at many Starbucks outlets from Southeast Asia to Middle East and Europe and I was able to work but this outlet was seriously loud with the machines running at the counter. I guess there might be a solution to dim the noise but the management needs to do something bout it. Other than this all good.

I've never had a decent coffee at Starbucks, either thin or just overly sweet.

The drinks and apple pie were good! We were able to pay cashless. The blonde young man at the counter was unfortunately uncommunicative and very quiet when specifying the drinks, perhaps new. One star deduction for the toilet checklist with a checkmark for all times until the evening even though it was just 2 p.m. It doesn't have to be that way because it didn't look good... As I said, drinks and cakes were perfect

Unfortunately, was disappointed with the service. Impolite stuff, cappuccino with below-average taste... Completely overpriced place. (And I am sure you CAN have some cinnamon in stocks for your clients ready to pay more than 7 CHF per cup of coffee)

My favorite product is the Matcha soy latte ;)

Coffee as always great, place is clean and welcoming👌 Unfortunately, Saturday morning, I had a unfriendly ( even can say rude ) service from the girl, she was really irritated, unhappy and just sharing bad vibes all around. Hope, bad days past soon, but customers don’t have to recognize anything from your personal life. take it easy and smile, I’m sure, smile fits you 😌

Nice ambience. All employees are polite and reliable. One employee stood out from the others, namely, Mr. Kandepaan. In contrast to the other employees, Mr. Kandepaan is 7 dimensions ahead. I think he should be employee of the month.

I ordered an Americano, they poured 500 grams of coffee-flavored water, the glass was full to the brim, water (coffee) was flowing down it, I asked why they poured so much, they just smiled and poured the contents into the sink, I have never seen such wildness, the milk was diluted with water 😳, I was at Starbucks Luzern, it’s a completely different matter, the coffee is good, the quantity is correct, the service is excellent...

I'm really disappointed, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Every time I order something, half of it is missing or soaked. When you arrive it says not found and is canceled straight away. Won't order anymore. Money and anticipation for nothing.

Nice service. Good choice. But cleanliness and order are a foreign concept. It's always the same situation.

There are an awful lot of annoying sparrows outside that steal your food from the tables. They are also fed by stupid people. A reason to prefer better cafes.

Nice place, good location, but when you make a Refresha you should take care that fruits don't finish. Without them it is not worth the money...water with syrup..

While I was here 1 week ago, I asked for a bowl of water for my dog... well, to make it short they DO NOT offer this service, because they DO NOT HAVE bowls!!! I am simply shocked that an American company is so pet-hostile! I will never go to starbucks anymore. PS: the service people were rather unfriendly!

If you love coffee, avoid Starbucks. Drink regularly with milk that is much too hot so that there is no recognizable bean taste. Why does the store still exist? Coffee is now better available on every corner in cafés that can do it and don't use fully automatic machines. Maybe for WiFi, charging your cell phone and short work? At least two stars for that.

Unfortunately, the service in this branch is just that. Lately I've been receiving unfriendly, almost rude service. In this respect, a visit to this branch is not recommended.

Starbucks cafe, what else is there to say

Sunday March 27th at around 12:30: very unfriendly employee!! She (young, overweight) gave the cappucino without greeting or smiling. Since I didn't get any spoons, I asked nicely, she was almost annoyed!!!! Never thank you!!

The Starbucks at centralbahnplatz is often very busy. Therefore, you sometimes have to wait until you receive the food and drinks you ordered. The toilet facility is not exactly very inviting. The check sheet for Sunday (see photo) wasn't even checked off until 4 p.m. So no one was cleaning the whole time - or am I wrong?

When there's little going on, it's good for working. One operator enjoys doing the job, the other doesn't seem to do it at all. Regarding the interior: There is now an upgrade. Let us surprise.

Quite ok, could renovate furniture and clean a little more. Lots of background noise as furniture is quite close together and a lot of noise comes from the kitchen/dish room.

Well......Local, funny.Drink fine."Service",could be somewhere else at the checkout. The counter offers plenty of opportunities to hide behind it. It's a shame! The prices are high and if I get a smile with it, which is free, it tastes even tastier. Especially at this time, it is important not just to check the Covid certificate on your cell phone to see whether it is still valid! And whether I can sit or stand now! Host is the answer!

A piece of America at the SBB train station. I love the smell and taste and the staff are very helpful and super friendly. I always enjoy going there.

Like other Starbucks stores with the typical furniture and free Wi-Fi. The walls should be sometimes new painted.

The oat milk stinks in the finish and you only get that from the cheapest varieties. The lye croissant turns out to be just as cheap. Sad about the prices, conclusion...Never again

Placed in a very central place, very near to the train station in Basel. It is a small Starbucks and the Terrasse is nice but usually the tables are dirty, as well as the wc..

The frappuccino was good but the rude gentleman at the checkout couldn't speak any English and almost no German. I wanted a large Frauppucino, but got an espresso and a glass of milk with it, the strange thing was that the gentleman wanted a whole €10 for espresso with milk 54 times and the last time. Ps: Better go to Freie Strasse to get a coffee at Starbucks ;)

Unfortunately very unfriendly today, even though there really wasn't much going on. They wanted to serve us the drinks in ToGo cups even though we were ToStay. But quality was good as usual 👍🏼

Very nice sellers. I think my name has always been spelled correctly until now. You don't always get exactly what you order, e.g. Cream even though you ordered without cream. But everything is very good. Good location right at the train station.

Solid coffee. It's a shame, however, that due to Corona hygiene measures only plastic cups are given out, even if you consume on site. Dishwasher? Other restaurants can do this too. However, employees then wear neither gloves nor masks. So much for protection... The toilet check is apparently simply checked off and not checked, in any case there was an empty bottle of vodka in the cabin...
