Starbucks in Luzern

Small and a little hidden. In the center of Lucerne next to the station. Little one Little one.... In general, however, I find that their chocolate cake is the bomb, but the price has gone up and the slices have gotten smaller... in all Starbucks in CH.

It's nice that they're friendly and you can drink iced coffee!

They were closed twice despite different opening times! Very bad

Very poor experience. Even if no one was queueing, the waiter was quite impatient. The amount of coffee is cut off and is much worse than in other Starbucks.

Very friendly staff. Especially great with my 6 year old daughter. The sitting area was very full with a lot of students so Ambiente was not great.

The worst Starbucks in Lucerne, never again. I ordered a warm chocolate cake that was really cold and the cake I had was moldy

Today Morning, I was there around 9:30 , we ordered coffee and two sandwiches, but the staff was served us dirty knife, they saw it, but who worked in cashier she said we not have another, hope guys take care, thanks any way

The staff is very friendly and explains very well, also gives you recommendations if you don't know what to get. The drinks are amazing as always

Worst Starbuck ever! Expensive as always, but ZERO performance: Internet is interrupted every 10 minutes - impossible to work here. Also dingy and without any ambience.

Unpleasant Coffee Experience Due to Early Closure and Poor Customer Service! The website indicated that eat-in was available until 8 pm. However, we arrived at 4:30 pm, and at 5 pm, the waitress informed us that they were closing the seating area due to a staff shortage. This explanation only came after I asked for the reason. We hadn't even finished our drinks when she asked us to leave. I would have expected at least some notice or indications of early closure when I first sat down, along with a voucher for the drinks we didn't finish.

Sitting area was closed at 5pm instead 8pm and customers had to enjoy their food and drinks outside in the cold. If I would have ordered via the app I wouldn’t got anything. Other through the app takes regularly longer than cueing up. Staff has to be remembered on a regular basis that some people order though the app to save time.

As always, I ordered java chip chocolate and have never had one as bad as this. Inedible couldn't drink it and threw it away. It felt like there was only ice in it and had no taste like water, no sweetness, nothing. I ordered without cream, but they forgot and put cream on it. When I complained, they simply spooned the cream out improperly. The woman didn't have a handle on her craft at all and was a disaster to watch.

The restroom at Starbucks is impressively clean. There's ample seating available, but the ambiance felt quite warm. It seemed as though the air conditioning wasn't on.

We ordered an iced matcha and an iced latte both with oat milk. We got it takeaway and the put it in a closed bag. When we opened the order on our way (in the train) we found this: two iced matcha no iced coffee? Both with cow milk. I had SEVERAL times that the baristas gave me cowss milk. As an lactose intolerant person this is affecting my health!! Absolutely unacceptable. I have worked as a barista myself for years and I am so dissapointed! And you don‘t hear from the customer service line.

The rooms are far too hot. No music 😏

I used to stop by almost every week and I must say it's my favourit Starbucks location. I've come here for about 10 years now and never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, I had many good laughs and small conversations over the years. The lounge area is very beautiful and comfy, the location is amazing and me and my friends (sometimes dates) always have a great time. I don"t live in the area anymore but a visit to this location is a MUST for me, whenever I am close by. Thank you to the amazing staff past and current for such a great experience!

Excessive prices but you know that ;-) Caffe Amerikano was relatively okay Cappuccino was quite watery The breakfast bagel is a little joke, "baked" in the microwave The cookie was barely baked through... still raw dough inside The staff is friendly but you can tell that they mostly only deal with tourists who want something "quickly" and then never come back. Ashtrays were already well filled in the morning and were standing around. Nobody cleared it even though only 2 tables were occupied......we had to clear the ashtray from our table ourselves first Attention: The opening times at the rathausquai location are not correct!!!

Very clean outlet, has its own toilet for guests. There are steps, so definitely not handicap friendly, I actually fell on the way to the toilet as there was a odd extra step to the toilet. Then my daughter also fell because of the step.

The most unfriendly Starbucks store. Not only was the staff unfriendly, but the order was taken incorrectly. The female employee with blonde hair and a ponytail looks like she needs retraining.

Overpriced, pastries not good, tables never clean

It’s ok a Starbucks , looks pretty old, sometimes the staff is pretty rude and have an attitude .

There’s a black male barista here who’s so rude and hates tourist. He’ll give you a very sassy behavior no matter how nice you are. Avoid this starbucks and check the local coffee shops instead.

More than 7.- for a latte macchiatto that was more of an aqua macchiatto. So nice to get on the train in the morning and realize on the way that you paid 7.- for a cup of water with milk foam. I advise everyone to switch to a cheaper, better coffee shop than Starbucks. The high price really can't be justified when you look at the quality.

Consumption yes, but toilet NO! I will never enter a store like this again.

So disappointed last time i wanna take a bag to take away cuz I dont wanna drink mine yet, but the lady keep arguing with me about my empty hand 😀?? She said i didnt hold anything so won’t give me the bag And this time, I agree that my voice is too low for some people but you can always choose the polite way to ask the guests to repeat themselves, why not? This time they even scolded to my face. Thank you and never comeback.

A rather quiet Starbucks in the city center and great service, to make a stop and be yourself, you can choose it without any hesitation....

Absolutely terrible service, online order was simply placed on the counter, while I was waiting no one noticed that I had placed the order. Even though the order was for local, everything was bagged, probably with good reason - the cookies were rock hard and black. Simply terrible quality at this price. Last time was Starbucks

Yesterday I got a Café Latte small (the size of a flat white cup, but only one shot) without any problem. Today they lied to me and said the smallest café latte size is tall. Way too big for me.

was very disappointed. we had to wait 10 minutes for two coffees. There was no one in front of us. After us there was a big queue and some after us received their Frappuccino before us...

I do not usually leave reviews for big chains but I am leaving one for this specific starbucks because the team working there is so nice! I was there the morning of 23.11. They are super kind and friendly and the coffe was very good. I recommend a stop here!

The Starbucks is very large with good seating! You can go there very well to learn or just switch off.

Coffee and muffins were great, enough space, but the only problem with any Starbucks would be the expensive price. There is also internet and power connections and USB ports too! This coffee is great for working or doing other activities on the notebook.

The espresso is good, so the coffee machine has been cleaned sufficiently. But the operation is more than strange.

So the drink itself was very tasty, but the person who made the drink took a very long time to finish the drink. I was stressed. Not so funny

I dropped by with my family at this place for a quick cuppa coffee while on a visit to Luzern. Unlike many Starbucks experiences across the globe, I was surprised with rude and curt behaviour of the male attendant there (5:00 pm on 1st Nov 2022). We ordered a Cafe Latte and hot chocolate, but were handed over 2 cafe lattes. When we sat down and realised that hot chocolate was not provided, we requested that there was an error. This attendant rudely put it on us that we picked up the wrong glasses. It is always the barista who calls and hands over the order; and that is what happened today too; then why put the blame on the customer! Just accept the error and move on.

Unfriendly service and do not respond to requests..

It's a cozi, silent place by the side of entrance of Hotel Monopol Luzern to enjoy the coffee alongside warm discussion with friends / acquaintances...

Worse service! Had to wait 15 minutes for a cappuccino because others who came after me were served before me!

Good coffee but expensive. Service mediocre to good. The back room feels like a train station waiting room!

They were very unfriendly. Then they made me the wrong drink and of course I reported it. They made me a new one but again they were wrong. I also had to wait 10 minutes even though no one was in front of me and 5 people who came after me got it before me. Can't they do their job properly?

The quality of work, prices and service are at the highest level!!!

As for the prices they charge, they should keep their place a bit cleaner.

Extremely heated. There is trash everywhere. Otherwise ok.

The building here is beautiful. The seating area is further inside from the order counter by the entrance. There's a bathroom and you need a code to access it; they're very clean. There's a decent amount of seating and not too many guests when I was there. Because of that it was relatively quiet. Outlets worked and WiFi too. Good spot to get work done. And of course just like with any place in Switzerland the prices are a bit much. But if you're in need of an outlet, free wifi, many seats, and a bathroom without having to search then Starbucks is a good place to start.

The coffee is good. That's why the 3 stars. Just Starbucks. But the ladies behind the counter could stand a little more friendliness and motivation towards the customers.

As a neighboring country to Italy, one of the great mysteries of modern times is why one should buy bad coffee from lowland plantations. Probably the lousiest form of self-expression.

It used to be great when this Dario worked there. Today a small, black-haired woman served me. She was cheeky, annoyed and totally unfriendly. Was my last visit.

Since Dario left, I won't be visiting the restaurant anymore. He was the sunshine that made my day. A shame...

I went to Starbucks today. Since this blonde waitress arrived, I've been reluctant to go because she's very unfriendly. I ordered a decaf caramel macchiato, but she had already started the order before I could say the word. Then she rolled her eyes and then the two of them whispered and said: We'll just mix it up now. And I got my drink with cafe…. I had a gastroscopy last week and I wasn't feeling well...now I'm feeling even worse. How can you be like that? When I say decaf I mean it...never going there again.

Starbucks has really lost its charm. Every time I'm there there's an old mug/cup and used dishes on every table, it's sticky everywhere. Can really only recommend to-go. ://

We ask ourselves why the “warm chocolate” tastes so much better in Zurich than in Lucerne? A chocolate that smells like cardboard is simply not chocolate. But the croissant with cheese and ham was so wow! Compensatory justice?

I was really looking forward to my hot chocolate this morning and was shocked to find out at school that I had received a green matcha tea that I didn't like at all. Bad start to the day, thanks for nothing

It was really bad; An employee showed the visitors the middle finger even though the visitors had bought something (it was only a small chocolate). Nevertheless, I think that such disrespectful behavior is absolutely not okay. The mood of the workers is totally unmotivated and passive aggressive. After we tried to explain it to the manager (after about 3 attempts because she didn't speak any real German) she then told us very annoyedly that she would check the cameras. In this Starbucks you never know where you stand with the employees; depending on whether they have a good day or not. Overall: this behavior is unprofessional and shameful!!! It's the last time I'll go there.

Just Starbucks. For me, nothing for everyday use (prices, company policy), but to celebrate a special situation with gingerbread flavor... Nice service, pleasant seating

My family and I wanted to have a drink at Starbucks "Banhof" on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. Inquire about the opening time in internet, where it shows the closing time from Thursday to Sunday at 10:00pm. Unfortunately, it was not the case, because at 9:00pm the business was already closed and the employee guaranteed me that I saw wrong on Internet ... What a shame :(

A bit unkempt and feels like you're sitting in a storage room. There were dishes and crumbs everywhere on the seats and floor. I think I'm not the only one who sees it that way. Because I was the only one. Coffee was good 👍😊

The music inside is way too loud. You can hardly have a conversation and certain employees can hardly speak German.
