The manager made my sandwich personally......Absolutely nice, competent, just a complete professional who so deserves the position. TOP sandwich

I've been coming here for a while and have always been very well received and also very well served. The food is also very good quality

On several visits I was able to observe the manager as he served customers with cheeky gestures. Even today, he serves all over the place and confuses all the customers, thought I was allowed to pay, then he said I shouldn't push forward, but none of us fully understood who should pay now! It's pretty sad of Subway to let someone like that "manage" a store, if you can't deal with customer contact you should get a job in the office, EMBARRASSING!

The service this afternoon was an absolute disaster. Really unfriendly and even angry if you had a question about an ingredient or sauce. Underground!

As with any chain, the food is about what you'd expect from Subway. That's why the food gets 4 stars from me. I had the Italian BMT on the menu and I always recommend it. The service, however, was just O.K. The lady at the reception was a bit unfriendly and put a bit of pressure on us when ordering. The lady who made the toppings and sauces was extremely slow, so much so that you had the feeling that she had taken sleeping pills and the lady at the checkout was great. Totally friendly and motivated, that's what I like to see. However, she was from a generation where being friendly was second nature. The atmosphere was okay, it's in the St. Jacobs Mall and not its own store. It's good to observe people, but I wouldn't like to have private conversations. All in all, like the Subway chain itself, quite O.K.

The only Subway branch I know and definitely won't recommend to anyone... A while ago a friend became incredibly sick after eating it. A few months ago I wanted to go there again, but then I gave up when I saw that the ham was already gray. Today I was there again and thought I'd try it again... again the ingredients were more than marginal... a few other people were probably of the same opinion because they quickly moved on after seeing the ingredients... Apart from that, there doesn't seem to be enough staff on site, we were in St. Jakob for about 3 hours and walked past the subway several times, but only saw an employee once... It's a shame, there would be more than enough potential. But under these circumstances I advise everyone not to visit...

There was only one employee working at the Subway on Friday evening, we had to wait in line for half an hour just to be told that the wraps were out...

Hello everyone 👋, Me and my colleague have been there every week for 8 months. Unfortunately, the drinks used to be poor in terms of taste when consumed. But these days they are a little better. Some employees are very correct. Unfortunately, others are a bit stingy and don't put as much chicken teriyaki on my Itlian, cheese oregano or sesame bread. The other ingredients in my sandwich are quite good though. The lettuce, tomatoes, onions, carrots, olives, corn, fried onions, jalapenos, sweet onion sauce and finally the chipotle sauce are all very fishy and well done. There is an over-motivated employee who still makes good sandwiches. However, some of the ladies who work there are rather frugal when it comes to the amount of ingredients that go into the sandwich. What is also a bit misleading are the prices for the student menu. Sometimes the price is 12.90 Fr. and sometimes 14.90 Fr. What I also find very pleasant is the smell that is in the air as soon as you enter the building. Here's another tip from me for the true connoisseurs of our society 😜🤪: Don't eat whole grain bread. This is just whole grain bread. Of course I also have to mention the cookies here, because they are also very tasty. The “Chocolate Chunk” cookie in particular triggers a taste explosion on the gourmet’s palate. The location is well chosen and easy to reach. Unfortunately, the tables are relatively small, making it difficult to eat with the boys. Please change soon. The only downside is that the beer and chips are relatively expensive compared to COOP for example. Sure, I understand, you have to do business, but not all of them are rich citizens like me or my colleague, for example. But there is also something for low earners. The only thing that I find unpleasant and that makes me and my colleague feel embarrassed is when you only take 15cm. It really depends on the size and not the personality. If you would like to know more or would like my opinion or advice for a possible restructuring of the location, please let me know. When it comes to Subway, I am always open to listening. We wanted lunch, 2x menu, once kids menu, the selection for this is small (ham, turkey or roast beef) the latter wasn't even offered and instead of roast beef my child wasn't even allowed to take salami, we're talking about 3 slices, not a whole one Sow… Employees were disorganized and not on task, twice the order was not complete and friendliness was not very important either. Will probably not visit this branch again, were very disappointed.

I just don't find any words ridiculous

The price increase on the student menu is outrageous. I'm still outraged that the already expensive student menu at Subway St Jakob has been increased by another 2 francs. 14.90 for a student menu is far too much. Which student should still be able to afford that? Switched from weekly to monthly visits. A PITY!!!!!!!

Great food! A really friendly staff and a discount for the students.

Already at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the employees stopped selling sandwiches and said they had no more product, even though there was more than enough of everything!!! After I asked her about it, she said she wasn't allowed to sell anymore because she still had half an hour to clear away!!! Too bad for the franchisee. We would have bought 5 sandwiches!

Absolute rip off price. 2 more slices of cheese and that's an extra charge. For three people with a drink for 3 sandwiches just under 80.-. Also really unfriendly staff who were even too stingy to give a disposable mask. Subway in St. Jakob Shopping is not possible at all.

Always fresh and tasty and very friendly staff! The Potato Bites are highly recommended!

Sandwich was good, but quite expensive (even by CH standards). But I can only agree with the other reviews. The staff is really rude and arrogant. No smile, no eye contact, just an annoyed tone. Not again!

Had carne caramba, relatively good. But it would be better to warm the wrap again before serving. I bought a bottle of Pepsi and the employee asked me 3 francs for the Subway cup. She didn't understand the explanation that I didn't want to drink from a bottle, but rather in a glass or cup. Then you can hire robots straight away. Food is good for the price, service needs improvement.

Good sandwiches, terrible staff. The people there are so inflexible that if an ingredient is omitted from a daily menu, they charge full price. The discounted Monday daily menu for CHF 10 was a "BMT sandwich" (ham, chorisso, salami), which I wanted without ham. According to the computer, this wouldn't work because without the ham it would become a "salami" sandwich that wouldn't be on the daily menu until Tuesday and I would have to be charged the full price for it. Only when I complained and said, "As far as I'm concerned, give me the ham separately, but please not in the sandwich," did they accept it as the daily menu and seriously add the ham to me separately on a cardboard bowl. Since I don't eat ham, I obviously had to throw it away afterwards. Such food waste shouldn't be necessary at all if only the staff were a little more flexible or the ordering system accepted omitted menu items. Rarely experienced something like that.

This Subway is very fast, efficient, and clean. It makes for a very easy place to get a quick bite to eat, and there are many healthy options to choose from.
