Nice staff, great decoration and atmosphere. The music could be more quiet, especially since it is not atmospheric music without lyrics. The food is very badly priced, plenty of better options in town. Yes the other options have a lacking atmosphere compared to this, but the sushi is of the same or better quality and less expensive. (Of course, the sushi in Fribourg is in general not as good as in a port city) The salmon Yaki soba are way too sweet, the teriyaki just covers the flavour of the salmon and everything else. I do not recommend this restaurant. The sitting area is very clean and aesthetic but the ground floor is dirty, however that may just be an irregularity.

Dish box for two 59 Fr.. Very disappointed by the quality of the products, an avocado with a cucumber texture, so much so that it was hard. All the avocado products (representing a good half of the box) could not be eaten. When I called the shop, I was told that they had indeed been having problems with the lawyers for two days… A manager was supposed to call me back the next day, something that never happened. How can you be aware of having a problem with a food and still sell it? I thought that SushiShop was a big brand, and that that implied a certain seriousness, but I was probably wrong.

The sushi had no taste or you only smelled the mint inside. Impossible to eat them with chopsticks as they fall apart. The sauces (soy) didn't taste like soy sauce at all and were slimy. The avocado was not ripe which made the sushi hard. I ordered online and the site wasn't very clear. Normally I love sushi and for people like me who are used to eating it I don't recommend it. In short, the worst sushi in Fribourg.

The restaurant is clean and it's nice to eat upstairs, there are never many people so it's rather quiet. The lady at reception is efficient and professional. On the other hand, the exact same music playing on a loop during an hour of meals is really unpleasant. I have nothing against Sia but change the record, please. For the sushi, nothing extraordinary, it's a great franchise so we're neither disappointed nor surprised.

Honestly, I don't recommend it to anyone! Very bad experience… Entering the store, the waitress was laughing and the sushiman was using his phone. I place my order, and having a preference for vegetarian sushi, the waitress tells me that this Would take a lot of time to prepare them. I was forced to opt for other sushi, even though the vegan option is on their menu. (I might as well remove it) To top it all off, the quality of the rice was mediocre, the presentation of the sushi was miserable and the fish didn't seem very fresh. In summary, avoid this sushi restaurant…

Catastrophic. Tuna with a suspicious color and a ferrous and oxidized taste. Totally black salad (cooked by the cold) in the sushi. Brave -3°C on January 21. 23 really wasn't worth it for these boxes. The employees do not know the 1/4 politeness that responds to my departure greeting. Obviously the 2 "chefs" get around the telephone restriction in the kitchen with a friend at the counter who lets them pass as soon as it vibrates. I ask the cashier how long ago my order was ready... (order online at 6:43 p.m. arrived on site at around 7:25 p.m.) she is honest enough to tell me it has been ready for a long time because the boxes were already made... Basically, you order online and pick up leftovers from the previous day. Prefer matuya, teppaniaky, Sushi KAI....

Positive : good taste of salmon and rice. Negative : the nigiri are as narrow as my thin fingers, with not enough rice; the "miso" soup is a catastrophe (no miso paste, dehydrated onion leaves, feels like straight from an instant miso powder), saved in extremis by the few silken tofu portions.

I have ordered boxes to share several times since they opened in Friborg via Ubereats. But I have to give an unfavorable rating for my last two orders. The freshness of the sushi really needs to be reviewed. The rice was very dry and therefore not tasty. I will no longer order from them given the quality/price. It's not worth it.

The worst sushi we ever had! We order sushi regularly and we wanted to try sushi shop, a huge disappointment. The rice was dry and falling apart, the fish wasn’t fresh. The salmon and tuna had a weird pale color. All of the sushi’s we ordered weren’t tasty and quite disgusting actually. We couldn’t even eat half of it…

A delivery disaster! Last time they forgot the sauces and half the order and this time they gave a miserable sweet soy sauce and a salty one for a box of 60 sushi for two people.. They don't even bother to melt the cheese skewers beef cheese and obviously no phone number to contact them. A real disappointment to avoid!

I don't know if it's more common on delivery but the quantity of salmon varies extremely on your Sushi. Example here of a Maki Salmon roll (fresh cheese inside) which is scary to see because half of it is devoid of fish like the others in the order (except 1 out of 6). The sushi is good in general but you never know what you're going to get on this point. The experience is not unique but unfortunately recurring.

The sushi is not bad, however, I was shocked to learn that you had to pay for the Wasabi soy sauce which is automatically served with it as an accompaniment, otherwise the sushi has little taste. Basically it's like you go to McDonald's and they tell you that you'll get the Big Mac without the sauce... 🤦🏾🤦🏾

This is one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever had the opportunity to try! Delicious and fresh sushi, made every day on site by sushi chefs. Pokébowls are absolutely excellent. The choice of pokébowl is varied. Everything is well presented. I highly recommend.

There is no number to reach them on the website, so, for an allergy type particularity, I could not see myself placing an order without the certainty that the sushi did not contain the allergen. So, I went there. I explained why I was there by asking if we could replace the avocado with cucumber, I am allergic to avocado in its most severe form. At reception, he tells me that he can have it removed but not replaced, I tell him that I don't want sushi with only rice... I take the liberty of explaining to the gentleman present that everywhere elsewhere, we always replace the avocado with cucumber. After a few minutes, he accepts, the look of the girl behind the counter said a lot about his desire to make this modification, but he tells me that he can do it because he doesn't have many orders but that for the next time, he cannot guarantee to grant my request. Fortunately, I don't plan to go back, I won't magically become non-allergic to avocado. The sushi was good although the rice fell apart as soon as you touched it. I would much rather go elsewhere and have this modification made to me willingly...especially since I found the prices excessive but that wasn't objective 😂

Very disappointed with the way I was treated when I asked for information regarding the menu and prices of sushi. Of course, I understand that there are a whole series of adaptations to be made due to COVID, but that is no reason to make fun of customers or respond aggressively when we ask for information. I still placed my order, but I had no pleasure in tasting my sushi because it stressed me out more than anything else. I won't go back there again. Concerning the quality of the sushi, I agree with other opinions where they mention the poor price-quality ratio: no taste, rice that falls apart as soon as you add the sauce...

Unfortunately, it was far from what I could have hoped for. Some sushi seriously leaves something to be desired, including the nigiri which are very small with a small piece of salmon. And the rice is really not very good, it fell apart when you took it with the chopsticks. I also found the prices very excessive compared to what we were served, I know that sushi is expensive but in this case I found that it was too much. But I still note the originality of certain sushi, and I recommend despite my words at least to try it once, because my opinion is based on my experience which was not very successful but I dare believe that in different circumstances the experience can be good.
