While the sushi is delicious and worth a 5 star by its self, get the Takoyaki, they are the best I have ever had, and are some of the tastiest things I have ever had in my life.

Excellent sushi shop, take away only. You can sit in the bar/café next door to enjoy them (I think it's still a valid option even though Livresse was replaced by Bisous bar.) Last time I went, I had the large maki with three different fishes and some roe. It was excellent, fresh, crunchy, with a hint of sweetness to balanced it. Highly recommended.

Excellent sushi and takoyaki, a freshness and flavor not found in competitors who do not have this know-how. The menu is short but offers perfect fish and combinations. The rice and the quality of the fish are impeccable, and the couple who run this business are adorable. How can you go elsewhere after having tasted it...!

Real homemade sushi by an adorable Japanese family! Since we discovered them, it's impossible to go anywhere else. The quality is really great. Good, well made and Always very fresh. I highly recommend !

I arrived there at 8:10 p.m. Without knowing that they closed at 8:00 p.m. The manager opened the door for me and still wanted to take my order with so much kindness. Plus the sushi was EXCEPTIONAL. Thanks again ♥️

Fair price for quality artisanal sushi!

If you don’t pay good attention, you may just walk past it, but this is a gem! The couple owners are super sweet and polite. Sushi is at normal Geneva price range but made with great care and the quality is superb. There are not as many options as the big stores but they are definitely worth trying. The most authentic and best sushi I’ve tried in Geneva! After this I absolutely do not feel like eating sushi in any other places in town. Will come back for so many more times!

I think it is the only sushi shop which is basically focused about... sushi, no gourmet bs, just good sushi exactly like like Japan. The only unfortunate thing is that its a take away.

A real Japanese couple, with real perfect sushi, made like in Japan, as if parachuted from a small street in Tokyo to Geneva. Caterer only, but you can eat at the bistro next door, if you have a drink.

Small family sushi shop. Made by the minute (10 min wait) with the possibility of eating them on the terrace of the café next door if you have a drink. Excellent quality and price!

Pow pow pow! The best fatty tuna/leek makis that I have never had the pleasure of tasting anywhere else! The true reflection of Japanese cuisine full of love and passion can be found here, at Tanuki! What's more, I love the idea: in agreement with L'ivresse d'à chez, we can enjoy makis and other Japanese pleasures from Tanuki during one or more beers at L'ivresse! On the other hand with this concept... we can no longer stop on one side or the other ^^

Lovers of authentic and tasty Japanese cuisine come and discover this welcoming place. Bottled beers straight from Japan to complement all these delicious little Japanese tapas. In short, a place not to be missed for all connoisseurs.
