Very friendly and warm staff. The focus is on the tapiocas. A Brazilian dish made from the roots of the cassava plant. This is then served similar to a piadina from Italian cuisine. The food is delicious! There is something for every taste. Intolerances are taken into account. In the production of the dough for a tapioca, no grain containing gluten is used, but rather the root of the cassava plant. A single tapioca fills you up. The large plates with rice, vegetables, etc. in the photos in the reviews are offered 1-2 a month on Sundays. The restaurant is very close to the tram station. All in all, a visit to Tapiocarthy is highly recommended.

As a Brazilian living in Basel for 8 years, I am not aware of any other place in the region bringing highlights of Brazilian culinary to life with such excellence .. I like everything they offer, particularly the typical fruit juices that remind me so much of day to day life in Brazil :)

Original, traditional Brazilian tapioca.. Gives a feeling of being in Brazil again. The Pão de Queijo and Coxinha are also delicious. I recommend tapioca with dried meat and matching “Suco de Cupuaçu” cupuaçu juice. Always my pleasure. Thank you Tapiocarhy 🥰🙏🏻

There are delicious tapioca for all tastes: with and without meat, vegetarian, vegan... For my 50th birthday I gave myself the catering from Tapiocarhy :D 4 different tapiocas, pao de queijo, fried cassava and cassava cake - simply outstanding! Many guests ate everything from this menu for the first time and were thrilled!

Super, super good food! I cannot rave enough, if you haven't tried it yet you need to try it. :) The people are also very friendly, and the restaurant is small but very cute and clean.

I've been to Tapiocarhy several times and I've really enjoyed it every time. Whether it's take-away, with friends or with the whole family - whether it's tapioca, warm cheese rolls or vegetarian feijoada - it's always delicious, and Carolina and her crew are always warm!

This is a small yet very cosy place. The food served is brazilian. Well done, nicely presented and very yummy. It's not a bargain for the size but it's worthy. They have exotics fruit juices, brazilian bier and other finger food. You can also buy some frozen food to prepare at home. We ate "tapioca" and it was delicious 😋. We highly recommend and we will surely come back to eat the sweets they have over there. It is located near a tram stop. Oh, the music was also very good and gave a brazilian classic MPB tone for the place.

I've been to this cozy restaurant twice, it feels like home. The owners and employees are very friendly and the service is attentive. Last Sunday we tried the traditional Brazilian dish feijoada. The food was delicious and the quality was very good, this also applies to the tapiocas. (Feijoada is not always available, so check the website or Instagram).

Really gorgeous place with friendly staff and a home touch. Food was good, healthy and affordable. I recommend trying the cheese bread dough balls warmed with butter... so delish! Loved the space and ambience also. The inside and outside decor is a tasteful bohemian look with colour and bright prints. Outdoor patio is lovely for "people watching", tucked under some trees! Great place to work from and relax at. Thank you!!

Was able to try the Brazilian cuisine, very tasty, nothing for calorie counters, the drinks are great, but they pack a punch, oops 😵‍💫, 1 star deducted for the long wait, but it's worth it. Will definitely go back.

Delicious Tapiocas and other treats from Brazil, such as pães de queijo, coxinhas, dadinhos de tapioca, bolo de mandioca, caipirinha and so on. Owner and staff are extremely friendly and made us feel truly at home. The environment is very cozy and nice. We recommend the tapiocas “Sertaneja” and “Bossa Nova”.
