I would say, the food is average quality but lady is very nice and well behaved with every customer.

I definitely do not recommend this place! We have been there in group of 5 people, we ordered the same dishes - “Thali” with chicken and in general food was good but the next day everyone had serious stomach problems.

I had the Veg Thali and it was delicious..I had a bus to catch more than an hour later and it was raining outside. They let me wait in the restaurant with a good chai..They were very nice to talk to..If people around Zurich are missing some Indian hospitality, do visit Thali..

My family was walking around looking for some spicy food and came across this place . They serve halal chicken . We had chicken briyani , curry chicken , Naan and chai . The food was delicious, the spices used are very well balanced! Highly recommend!

Pros: friendly staff, service, hours of operation Cons: food taste is not great (probably because there is no full kitchen) Recommendation: I would not order thali again, instead the combo dishes with rice were decent. The chef (I forget the name and the guy is an experienced chef) tries to make the best he can on 2/4 hot plates. You give a tandoor to this guy, I am sure he will nail it. The owner and the staff is friendly. We could not find a parking and the owner moved his car to help us park in the back. Most of the Indian restaurants in Zurich close at 2:30/3pm, so this restaurant saves the day if you are searching for Indian food.

Going for a Thali at the Thali House means sitting comfortably with friends, eating very well and having friendly service. So you can start the autumn with a full stomach in the warm light.

I had ordered takeaway chicken biryani, samosa and gulab jamun. Chicken biryani smelled and tasted at least a week old. Gulab jamun tasted also very old.
