Staff are so rude and talk to you like they are superior.

Mega bad cocktails! You also have a bit of an odor problem (damp smell from the kitchen, etc.)

They have Murphys don't let the name deceive you

A very nice and family friendly pub. The tables are a bit small to sit in big groups, but if your flexible there‘s always a solution.

Pub quiz is nice 👍 When I specifically ask to not get an ingredient for my food they failed to leave it out. This happened both times I went there :/

Leyla is very pleasant employee and very good at her job. I asked for a kill Kenny. They didn't have it but she recommended the best alternative. After a few hours, It was close to closing and she came to check on me. She offered her assistance one more time, and I offered my kindness. Her response, was that I leave a comment on the website. So here I am. Give that girl a raise!

Nice place and good selection of beers, it's much appreciated that they have a tasty gluten free option 🥰 It would be nice if they had at least one option for food that's suitable for coeliacs too! Peter served us and he was super friendly and attentive, I will definitely come back when I'm in Basel again!

Why do people only speak English here? Well, the employees are friendly but everything is a bit slow. We were there with a group for an aperitif, about 90 minutes. But it was only enough for one round of drinks. The finger food was ok, but nothing more. But the ambience is great and the pub is huge and winding.

Great place. Fantastic Staff . Especially Peter the Manager . Top Guy Very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for him . Food was excellent. And great atmosphere.. highly recommend this place. . as we have visited many European cities .. this was one of the best. So well done guys. 🍺🍺🍻🥩🥩🥩

Terrible service. We phoned ahead specifically about watching the F1 race and was told we would be able to watch it. After lots of messing about we were told we couldn't after all. And that the 2 ladies behind us had requested American football (they had not looked at the screens once!)! They tried to bring us drinks but we told them this was contingent on seeing the race. They were unapologetic and we walked out in the end. There are much better options in Basel.

Very nice pub. The only point of criticism: Since there were no 0.3 l glasses left, we got 0.25 l. Krin problem. But the fee would be 0.3. This was corrected upon request. The waitress said that the customer could of course say whatever he wanted... well,... I would still go there again at any time.

We went to this pub on the advice of our hotel, and Peter and staff were super friendly and insightful for us. Draft beers were great and cold. Crazy good times.

This place use to be awesome. Not sure what happened. No table service. Limited menu. Order on an app where i could not even order a gin tonic. 🤷‍♀️

Good beer selection. Didn't try the food. Not my first choice, I usually go there with friends when they want to see the soccer and I always had fun and good beers. Service good for such a busy place.

Friendly Service - spoke Englisch, which is fine (he might have spoken german but I didn't ask). Quite cozy inside. Seems to be always a good option to have a quick drink with friends - maybe even stay longer. Didn't ask about food, though.... This seems to be one of those places that specializes in special beers - obviously of Irish kind most. So, if you are interested in trying out a special brew, this would be one of the places to go to

Actually a cool location, but something is actually wrong with the staff. Long waiting times. The staff somehow does “duty by the book”. But go and see for yourself.

They have gone to an QR code ordering system. Do not like that at all. You're limited to what's only in the menu. Would much rather talk to the bartender about recommendations or mixed drinks that aren't on the app menu. You can still talk to a server when you can flag one down but they seem to really be pushing the QR.

We ordered via the qr code. This did not work as intended. One of our friends had to wait for 1.5 hours for his burger. Several times drink were offered to our table which we did not order but then had to wait 30+min for our orders. Pure chaos. Food is not very good even ordering at the bar took forever. At least nice ambience and life music

Quite disappointed with the new system in place for ordering. The prices seem to have inflated for getting less then what you use to get. CHF 9 for chips but extra CHF 2.50 for mayo or T sauce … crazy.. Very nice vibe for pub quiz, and always a good Guinness

It is simply one of the best and most authentic pubs in Basel. The beer is mainly dominated by Feldschlösschen as a supplier (with third-party brands)

Price/performance really bad. For 17.- 4 chicken nuggets and an estimated 20 fries. Next time I'll eat somewhere else and go to the pub for a drink. It's a shame for the actually great location, the overall package is just not right.

The place is well thought out, each table has its own TV to watch whatever you want at that moment. Good service, good atmosphere. The only negative thing is that if you are going to watch a soccer game the tables are uncomfortable. For everything else great

English breakfast is no longer offered?!! But that's why you come to the pub specifically. There are only cheap fries left. But you can get this in any kebab shop...

Why does the waitress ask about the doneness of the burgers when they are all cooked through anyway? Yesterday we had medium rare twice and medium rare once. Unfortunately, all for nothing. The burgers were all done. A no go for the price. Drinks also took over 20 minutes, 2 beers and a cola 🙈🙈 the service was very friendly, but the staff planning needs to be checked.

Great pub but not enough staff on a busy Saturday night. Manager wanders around but won't help out, staff organise themselves and do a good job irrespective.

It's a really nice pub with a great atmosphere. Ordered the fish and ships. Cutlery wasn't given and I was told I had to get it at the bar but it took quite a while for me to get it which was a bit weird. The fish and chips didn't have any mushy peas just peas and no potato wedges which was a real shame. If you call yourself an irish pub the dish should at least be semi-authentic but otherwise it was alright. The portion was also very small. Fortunately the beers are great and as I said the interior looks really great but I wouldn't recommend ordering food. 27 chf for those fish and chips is a bloody steep price.

This is the place to go for travelers to Basel. Our waitress, Charlotte, was so amazing. The food was great and the beer was properly poured. We came back here night after night for the fun atmosphere.

Nice authentic Irish bar with friendly staff. Rather impressive food. Four seasons inspired hamburger. In fact probably the best gastronomic burger I have had in a long time.

Awful experience! They say they have 27 screens or something yet you can’t see them from at least half of the tables. We booked a table to watch our World Cup game and we were given the smallest if the tables (literally tiny!) facing a wall with no TV’s nearby! We asked for another table and the staff looked surprised and clueless on what to do… terrible!

Seldom experienced such a bad place. Extremely unfriendly & unprofessional service. Menu only available as a QR code. Very expensive and mediocre quality food.

Too winding, incomprehensible and the beer isn't really my thing either. But if you like it, that's ok.

The burger was huge and was much bigger than my fist. I love the service most. Their staff came by to check on us regularly even though we were sat in a secluded corner.
