Amazing organic food , and the ice cream was just perfect :)

What could be better than cafeteria style vegan with a soulful vibe ? I can't name what we had but it was great, and warm , and authentic all the way to the heart. They charge by weighing what's on your plate . Good price. Warm times. Thank you.

Excellent organic food, highly intentional and clearly made with love. Mauricio was a wonderful server who made it easy navigating around the cornucopia of deliciousness, and when there’s crystals, pinecones and sacred trinkets sparkling in each corner you know the place is going to treat you right too. There is also a small selection of groceries to buy. My favorite vegan haven in Zurich!

The Sacred means “The Saints”. Oh yes, I saw the “Freiheits-Trychler” car in front of the Corona-Spektiker restaurant several times. And corresponding posters. Not holy. Have fun pinning it. Also: I still love eating organic and vegan. But not on 5-franc monobloc plastic armchairs (very good for the environment... right, Sacred). I suspect a free church or a sect in the area. Or the SVP who disguises themselves as vegan.

Vegan buffet, pay by weight. Extra tasty large selection, outstanding flavours, each dish tastes quite different from the others. Everything fresh made by them including glace/gelati (truly amazing, every flavour), drinks & gluten free bread rolls (that are unusually excellent).

If you are looking for a nice, harmonious organic vegan restaurant with fresh and healthy dishes, then it is a must stop by. We were there yesterday and were thrilled by the friendly, authentic, informal host and the fine cuisine.

Very tasty buffet. Fresh and organic! Wonderful selection of different dishes to create yourself. The tables are quite close together but it also feels very familiar. The ice cream parlor is amazing, incredible varieties and also vegan.

Huge variety of vegan ice creams, all looked delicious, the flavours we tried were very good, especially the orange.

Unfortunately I only tried the homemade juices. Very good. I'll try the food another time.

Best restaurant for high quality vegan food

Their food feels like home. Delicious, nutritious, and comforting. The house made kombucha and gelato are a must try. Lovely place with superb service.

Simply the best ice cream in Switzerland! Of course, everything else here tastes great too, there are special products and the staff is particularly friendly. Wheelchair and stroller friendly. Dogs are also served 🐶

The place is nicely decorated and you can also sit outside. Outside you can watch all the street activity and enjoy the vegetarian delicacies (quinoa with fried potatoes). Simply put everything together at the buffet yourself. The ice cream stand offers a good selection. I enjoyed pistachios and double chocolate. I'd love to come back to you.

I really like the food, it’s all organic, tasty and nourishing on all levels. The people serving are nice and the atmosphere cozy. It’s simple and yet totally worth a visit! Places like this should be supported by going there, so they survive and thrive. In my eyes they really value having top quality products. They also have books, organic soaps and other items that small businesses get the opportunity to sell in their restaurant, which is a beautiful thing to do.

Your luminous divine consciousness is so advanced that, as if by magic, all of your interpersonal problems remain stuck in the world. Separating the wheat from the chaff is only possible through threshing, just as you can only separate the bad from the good by talking to each other warmly.

We liked the vibe of the waiter over the counter and how the place could be chill and transmit the laid back energy, however overall the food was very basic and lacking more options to choose from. It wasn't the best value of the money spent.

The best vegan ice cream I've tried! And I've tried a lot of things in many cities around the world, but this selection is terrific. Not just typical “sorbets” but real milk alternatives, including those based on an original Italian recipe, only vegan! First class, really! I'll definitely be back!

The benchmark is Hiltl and Tibits. And compared with them this place unfortunately (because I like to support small businesses) ranks second: less variety, less ambiance, less taste and not as centrally placed. But it is still worth a visit for its outside eating area and it seems to be more affordable.

The homemade ice cream tastes great, but it was previously processed aesthetically. Now it just looks unhygienic and inedible with the crusty edges. The service used to be refreshing and humorous. Now just be demotivated or have spirit talk at the checkout until the food is cold. You can do better. Would love to come back a few years ago.

We were at a concert at the Volkshaus and discovered that the ticket could also be used as a voucher for an ice cream at the Vegelateria. And mmmmmh such a creamy plant-based ice cream and then with such exciting combinations like pineapple-vanilla (taste bomb too). I'm grateful to have discovered this lovely little place. I will be back at the next opportunity to try the rest of the range. Nutrition on all levels 🤫😊

Rip-off of some self-actualizers

I always find it great to eat there. The homemade Kamboucha is great. The food is not high standard, but fine. The prices are good, suits every budget. Only the ambience is not very nice, too many objects, tables and chairs thrown together. An interior decorator is missing to freshen up the whole thing and make it nicer.

Absolutely stunning food, and beautiful place. You feel at peace, almost like at home. The foods are prepared beautifull and are really tasty. A large variaty of vegan options and they also serve kombucha (pineapple flavour). It felt more like a community space than a restaurant.

I've been moving to Zurich for a few weeks now and have never eaten so well

Organic vegan buffet. All dishes are also declared with allergens 👍🏻 good and fresh selection of gluten-free and lactose-free dishes. A little insider tip oasis in the middle of Zurich. Also on offer are homemade drinks, vegan ice cream and vegan products for purchase.

Food was "Nearly as good as meet" and recalled remembrances of Charles Dickens. Coffee was horrible. Somehow they overheard is complaining about the Coffee, which we did rather discretely amongst ourselves, and brought us two more coffees. All very well but the taste didn't improve, we didn't want to elaborate and left, trusting there are payed consultants available able to dealing with sub par coffee.

Had a wonderful lunch here. Tons of choices, all of which looked very tasty, and the 5-6 that fit onto my plate definitely were. There is a nice outdoor patio out front, where I ate, and inside was pleasing as well, of course. There is also vegan ice cream as well, and I got tempted into a delicious apfelstrudel cone. The woman who runs the place is also super friendly and helpful. One of my best meals in Switzerland.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good! Completely overpriced. Overall the place works somewhat neglected. The self-service buffet was only partially full at the beginning of 6 p.m. and information about the dishes was not complete. So that you didn't know what was being presented. It may all be organic and vegan, but unfortunately thumbs down! There were seven of us there, on reservation. Unanimous opinion on the quality and atmosphere. The only thing that was convincing was the ice cream! I think there is a lot of catching up to do.

The best vegan restaurant in Zurich!! An absolute MUST when you are in Zurich. We can recommend it very well. The buffet here is always freshly prepared and the price is fair. There is an interesting play area for children, and a changing room is available for Banys. The owner is super friendly and the food is sensational!! By the way, the best vegan ice cream in all of Zurich is available here.

I visited on a Tuesday evening and it was quiet, cozy and very tasty. The drink of the day was fantastic.

I always enjoy the familiar atmosphere of this place. The food is yummy and feels very home cooked and the vegan ice cream is always a delight. I personally recommend the warm dishes, especially the roasted veggies, and for dessert the stracciatella and the dark chocolate ice cream flavors.

Everything freaking delicious, ate more than 2 Kg of food! Fortunately is the restaurant a little bit far away from the Old Town, I walked back 30 Minutes and made my digestion 😂😂😂 this is worthy!!! And you can try all the ice creams before buying one! The owner knows how to sell his wonderful products! The same with the kombuchas drinks! Would go again for sure when in Zurich!

My favorite vegan restaurant so far! Everything is vegan, freshly prepared with love and with a very fine energy. And above all, everything is ORGANIC! It's a buffet to weigh and I think the concept is really super sustainable and ingenious. It is a place of power here to find your roots again and recharge them. I'm excited!

As a vegetarian I can say that the food is great as always! But I have recently chosen not to support the restaurant's efforts in denying the covid-19 pandemic and their support for political rallies against the official, science-based measures to stop the pandemic. It's a true shame that conspiracy theories have permeated Zurich's veggie community :(

Delicious dishes on the buffet that were healthy and nutritious. The vegan feta salad was my favorite. A lot of soy based alternatives, so if you're intolerant, keep an eye out. Gelato were very tasty - gelato, not just a few fruit sorbets. Very friendly and passionate people running the show. Highly recommend.

They said 4.5 Frank's per 100 grams on their website. It was actually 10 per 100 grams..

Incredible !!!! The best vegan restaurant we have EVER been to. All ingredients are fresh and biological and the place is so lovely. The ice cream is also the best we have ever eaten hihi. 10/10 would recommend! We will be back!

A great option to eat vegan when company or morals demand it :+) Tasty buffet with good choice, 7-8 cakes and alike (tried 5 to take away :-)) Ice-cream was intense and original, I'll return happily with other vegan acquaintances - Simon's for other occasions :-)
