I wanted a detailed, factual review before I placed an order, hence the following words. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to place an order for a kitchen with xxxlutz. A few good words at the beginning. The on-site advice is competent and helpful. The selection is limited, but many tips and alternatives are offered. Unfortunately, after signing the contract, everything goes downhill. We constantly had to make up for the lack of internal coordination. The company creates a contract, but the customers themselves have to contact the companies Lutz works with and inform them if, for example, there are delays. The latter is well known at xxxlutz, that deadlines are rarely adhered to. The employees of the external company did not speak German and it was very difficult for both parties to communicate. It was never said by xxxlutz that we had to be so involved in coordinating the work that we had to use/attend up to 5 telephones a day, otherwise the work wouldn't run itself. The person who introduced himself as the contact person at the beginning of the process no longer felt responsible at all after signing the contract. We've pointed out several times that we need the kitchen at the beginning of February because that's when we move in. Nevertheless, this kitchen arrived a month late. Unfortunately the wrong material was ordered and an incorrect worktop was scratched and installed with missing inserts. This was followed by a week of attempts on our part to contact someone responsible at xxxLutz to have the whole thing corrected. The same day the kitchen was installed we got an automated response saying we would get a response in 3-4 days. We call on Thursday because there is no answer and customer service says we should wait because the deadline will be met. 7 days later we get an answer saying we should continue to look into the stone company. Unfortunately, the lack of competence and interest in existing customers is evident again. This back and forth over the last few months has been very exhausting. Unfortunately, people are very helpful at the beginning until a contract is signed. From this point on, as a customer, you run after everyone as if you were employed at xxxLutz yourself. Apart from the lack of coordination, delay and delivery + assembly of the wrong materials, the kitchen is beautiful and as we imagined. The poor staff at the XxxLutz information center are very friendly and patient and unfortunately don't know how to help. We hope that this letter will save someone all this stress and that the criticism will be taken into account.

It's the very last thing I've ever experienced. You would like to pay the remaining amount by Twint or credit card, unfortunately the email I was supposed to receive didn't work (it didn't arrive) and ultimately there's nothing I can do about it. The employee then reprimands you quite harshly and in a very unfriendly manner. I could have paid for it a long time in advance and you know months in advance when the delivery will arrive. So I raided my children's cashboxes so I could pay the remaining amount in CASH. Unfortunately, the employees are not equipped to give change of CHF 3.70. The extremely “friendly employee” then put 5FR on the table for me. I would have been happy to forego the 5.-Fr. if the interaction had been a little friendlier. But in this case, UNTHINKABLE for me. I won't allow something like that to happen to me, especially not a second time. After 13 weeks of waiting for the furniture, it has still not been completely delivered. In the store itself we received really nice and courteous service, so there's nothing to complain about.

I ordered a mirror from the online shop. The delivery time kept getting delayed until I had to wait almost 3 months for it. When it finally came, the courier returned it twice even though my home address was correct. Then my money was sent back to me without comment. After asking again, I ordered my mirror again and he was still in action now. When it arrived again I had to pay the courier 30 for what I think were the previous 2 returns and luckily for me the mirror was also defective when I unpacked it at home. The pane was only glued/glued to the wooden frame. Conclusion: after almost 3 months of waiting, loss of 30.- and a lot of patience/nerves and time, I now have a defective mirror at home which I can now return myself. I am very dissatisfied and will never order anything from XXXLutz again nor will I recommend them to others. However, online customer service was very quick in answering my emails.

Last year we ordered goods online by invoice for CHF 70. Unfortunately we have a typo in the email address. Now we didn't receive an invoice and thought it had been taken care of long ago. But now the debt collection agency arvato 2 is sending letters with threats about the creditworthiness and demands for 4 times the amount. Complaints are dismissed with empty phrases about xxxLutz's terms and conditions. Clearly there was a typo in the email. But xxxLutz doesn't think of checking the error messages when an email doesn't arrive or sending a written reminder. I advise against this online shop, the administration behind it doesn't seem to work. We definitely won't meet this demand.

My experience with XXXLutz was a complete disaster! After 6 weeks of waiting for my piece of furniture it finally arrived, but oh surprise - the holes were missing! That is ridiculous! After I complained, they sent the missing parts, but they actually managed to forget another part! The customer service was a joke, they want me to send the half-finished furniture back by post. My recommendation? Save yourself the hassle and buy somewhere else!

Correctly you should give 0 points. On Friday morning I was looking for curtains. There was no one in the department anywhere who could answer my question about returns (I had to check at home whether the color matched the sofa). So I searched the whole floor and finally found a friendly saleswoman. It was important to me that I got the money back if I couldn't find an alternative. When I asked if that was the case, she said: “Yes, of course, but only within two weeks.” No problem, it fits. As soon as I got home it was clear that it wasn't right, which is why I went back that same afternoon. That's where the disaster began: it's very difficult to return items in the department. Of course there was no one there again. I found what I was looking for in the children's department. Fill out the form, then the saleswoman needed the signature from the boss and I could finally go to the checkout. Oh well, there was NO MONEY BACK!!! A voucher that no one wants, after this false statement, even though I followed the rules and the item wasn't even opened (I just matched the color). In addition, the behavior and, above all, the manner of speaking of the two “ladies” at the reception are absolutely disgusting!!! Their business model is clear: take money and don't give it out. If you want the voucher, it's worth 49.90. (VP40.-) can get in touch, I won't buy anything from this juice shop anymore and as a customer I feel totally cheated!!! This is a lousy way to make a lot of money. …ADDENDUM: When XXXL Lutz responded, I immediately contacted customer service and haven't even received an answer to date...!

I bought a box spring bed in November 2023. It arrived. However, the parts were from different beds, it didn't fit together and neither did the colors. Defects were also visible. Of course I reported it immediately. With difficulty I was finally able to reach someone who could give me information. I was assured that you will reorder the bed and deliver it. Well, what can I say, it arrived on January 24th, 2024, but only the headboard. When I asked I was told that only the headboard would be replaced. Of course I refused and complained. The emails went back and forth. I wanted my money back, but this was not possible and they would reorder the bed. Of course, a long wait again. However, when it still wasn't there for 90 days, I was able to insist on a refund. On February 21, 2024, two employees came to pick up the box spring bed. I informed the staff that you cannot come through the front door because it is very narrow and that you first have to remove the cloakroom in front of the entrance. However, they didn't want to listen and said that it was possible. I heard a knock a few times and when I asked, they said everything was fine. When they were finished I asked if they had damaged anything, they said no. When they wanted to drive off, I went to the entrance to put on my shoes and bent over when I did so. I saw that the entrance door, which is made of glass, was scratched and not just superficially. I immediately stopped the employees and showed them the scratches and asked them to take photos. An older worker said to me: "my word against your word". I immediately reported it to customer service. Of course I just got an answer today: "After careful examination, we would like to inform you that we have to reject the damage report regarding the glass door. Our fitters have confirmed that no damage was caused by our work" I wonder what exactly they checked. Because if you had tried it, you would know that you would never be able to get through the hallway with a bed like that without removing the standing furniture. If you would at least stand by it. I can no longer recommend XXXL to anyone. Other furniture stores focus more on customer friendliness and stand by you if something goes wrong.

Edit: After a long wait without any information and the hassle of sending the washbasin back, I received the mirror I ordered after a month. Guess what..? It was delivered to me broken. And the odyssey continues with useless customer service: “Since the delivery was made directly by the manufacturer, we forwarded your concern to them. As soon as we receive further information about this, we will inform you immediately." There has been radio silence since the email 5 days ago. Bought a chest of drawers here. The wrong package was delivered to the warehouse and we had to go back to the store. We were then given the correct packages. Home to the next trouble! We unpacked the packages and discovered that all screws, drawer runners and instructions were missing. We called the branch and were told that they did not have the material in stock (not even in other branches) and would send it to us next week, or the week after next at the latest. We rejected it because we needed it today... Then we went back to the branch and were then sent to the goods issue department. They then checked and were told again that there was nothing left in stock. A furious check was made in the warehouse to see if there was anything left in stock somewhere, but negative. We finally returned the chest of drawers and are now waiting for our money to be transferred to us because they don't give out cash even though we pay with cash! Incomplete packages are sold and put off here instead of offering direct solutions! And unfortunately not the first time! Simply extremely disappointing for such a big business.

The supplier DHL turned out to be incompetent and XXL Lutz turned out to be incompetent. As a customer you didn't feel like you were being taken seriously and no help was offered anyway. I bought a cupboard and many other things, the cupboard was delivered differently than what I bought, it doesn't even make sense that what we didn't order came and worked, and parts were missing and were still being delivered later. When we asked why we got something different, the woman said rudely, "Um, yes, signed the contract" what kind of rip-off is that, honestly, you will be completely disappointed. My advice is not to buy there because my relatives had ordered the same thing and everything came complete different and the same answer where is the discipline? But one thing is certain: I will never buy anything there again! A real shame, this company will damage your image, but that's how it should be. Not competent advice!

Great advice in the store. Unfortunately, this impression quickly disappeared. After the agreed delivery date was not kept and I was not informed about it, it was only on the second call that I was taken seriously. After the callback I was informed that the slatted frame had been forgotten by the manufacturer. Ok, it can happen, information would still be great. Now I asked about a discount when contacting customers, but no answer for a week. I would love to cancel the order! Thank you XXXLutz team.

We shopped here for the first time today. Very nice house with great architecture. The only friendly person we met was Fr Rubi, who was also able to complete a sale with us. Afterwards we wanted to eat something with the children in the restaurant. This was only sparsely staffed, but we still had to wait an extremely long time for service and food. There was also a language barrier, as the service unfortunately spoke very poor German. At the end, when we wanted to pay for our sofa and a few other items, there was only one cash register open; the employee there was extremely unfriendly and seemed to be poorly trained. It would also be good if it was written at the checkout which cards are accepted. American Express is probably not accepted at all and the Postcard didn't work for some unknown reason. Fortunately, my wife and I have several cards and accounts, otherwise it would not have been possible to make a purchase in this house. We now hope that the delivery will go smoothly and that we won't have problems like others have described here. Probably the last purchase for us in this architecturally beautiful department store.

0 stars would be a better choice!!! After I purchased a sofa worth 3200 from XXXLutz Rothrist 13 weeks ago, it was delivered yesterday. Although the delivery was on time, I discovered that it did not meet my expectations and unfortunately did not fit into my apartment. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any help from customer service and was informed that the sofa cannot be returned. This situation is challenging for me and a total disaster! NEVER THIS STORE AGAIN!!!!

I thought for a long time whether I should write this feedback, but it's really shameful what this store allows itself... I read the reviews saying you shouldn't shop here, but still I thought: why, why? I bought a chair because it was the best in the reviews and the price was much cheaper here than elsewhere. I thought to myself, not much could go wrong with a chair...no electronics or anything. BUT. LOOK AT THE PICTURES!! I checked off this topic and thought to myself that it was really a bad shop and that it was a lesson. I WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. But then I gave the soup pot to my friend, and when he unpacked it and we looked at it more closely, it was scratched on the inside, damaged on the outside - impact damage... a shame! I literally read 100 reviews about not shopping here and now I'm standing here saying the same thing. What's more, after I signed up for the newsletter, I received three notifications from Google Authenticator to authorize access to my email. I'm not saying the store will share your information, but I logged in at midnight because I have time to browse in the evening, and within a minute the login requests started coming... strange... And I'm not saying the store hires fake profiles and HR people to review the store, but it's strange that the positive opinions all come from profiles with a rating while the negative ones come from real people... but strange... Lastly, if you order something online, expect to walk 2.3 miles in circles around the store because you'll need to pick up each item from a different warehouse. We were with you today (01/16/24) at XXXLutz Rothrist. Since we needed a new bed, we made our way from the Bernese Oberland to Rothrist - and it clearly paid off! We were welcomed and spoken to by Ms. Mirjam Studer directly on the bed floor. Ms. Studer advised us to our satisfaction and responded very well to our needs. After brief information about what we wanted and based on our budget, Ms. Studer selected a bed that suited us. We look forward to picking up our new bed. I bought an LED lamp for 719.-- instead of 999.- in the promotion. Unfortunately, I discovered at home that the lamp had 3 defects. I complained about this and sent the lamp back in the hope that the lamp would be replaced. It was then explained to me that you cannot replace the lamp and that I should order the lamp again via the website, of course at the normal price of 999.- It looks like XXXLutz deliberately sold the lamp at a discount in the hope that the customer wouldn't notice, otherwise the lamp would have been replaced!! Never again XXLutz
